Phoebe: Okay, well, this is crazy. Can't seriously be talking about me taking one of your kids, can we?	フィービー：そんなのだめよ。私が一人を引き取るなんてばかげてるわ。
Frank Jr.: No, of course we're not.	フランクJr：そうだよ。
Phoebe: Insane.	フィービー：正気の沙汰じゃないわ。
Frank Jr.: I know.	フランクJr.：そうだよ。
Phoebe: Alice would never go for it, right?	フィービー：アリスが認めるわけないわ。
Frank Jr.: Oh, I don't know, she's pretty tired, too, I think we've got her on board.	フランクJr.：さぁ、アリスもかなり疲れてるからなぁ。別にいいって言うと思うぜ。
Phoebe: Well, just you know, for argument's sake, you know, hypothetically. Which one would you be willing to give up?	フィービー：あのさ、別にそういうつもりじゃないんだけど、もしあれだったら、どの子をくれるつもりなの？
Frank Jr.: Huh.	フランクJr.：うーん。
Phoebe: Frank Jr.Jr.?	フィービー：フランクJr. Jr.？
Frank Jr.: Oh, you'd be getting a really good one. I mean, you know, he's really funny. Like, the other day he made up this joke.	フランクJr.：あぁ、こいつはいいやつだよ。ほんとに面白いやつなんだ。この前のジョークなんてまじで面白かったんだぜ。
Phoebe: Uh-huh.	フィービー：へぇー。
Frank Jr.: What's green and says "hey, I'm a frog"? A talking frog! (Laughs.) Oh, no, you can't have him, he's too funny.	フランクJr.：緑で"僕は蛙です"っていうものはなんだ？　話す蛙だぞ！　（笑う）　あ、だめだめ。こいつはだめだよ。面白いやつだから。
Phoebe: Well, alright, that's fine. What about Leslie?	フィービー：そうね。じゃあレスリーは？
Frank Jr.: Oh, no, no. Not Leslie. No, she's, she's the only one that knows how to burp the alphabet.	フランクJr.：だめだめレスリーはだめだよ。レスリーはアルファベット発音できるんだから。
Phoebe: Alright, so that leaves Chandler.	フィービー：そう。じゃあチャンドラーね。
Frank Jr.: Oh, no, no, you can't have Chandler, no. No, no. She's my little genius. I got big hopes for her. She's gonna be a doctor or a realtor..	フランクJr. Jr.：だめだめだめ、チャンドラーはだめ。チャンドラーは天才なんだから。俺はすげぇ期待してるんだ。医者とか不動産屋になってほしいんだ…
Phoebe: Wow, Frank. I think we just ran out of kids.	フィービー：あら、フランク。もう品切れよ。
Frank Jr.: Oh, I think you're right. Oh, wow. Phoebe, I don't think I can give one of them up. I mean, you know, they drive me crazy, but they're my babies.	フランクJr.：あー、そうみたいだなぁ。あの、姉貴、やっぱこいつらを手放すなんて俺にはできないよ。確かに面倒見るのは大変だけど、俺の子供だもん。
Phoebe: I'm sorry, Frank. I didn't realise things were so bad. You know, I'll help out more. I can - I can babysit any time you want. You name the day, and I'll be there.	フィービー：ごめんね、フランク。そんなに大変だとは知らなかったわ。これからはもっと協力するわ。いつでもベビーシッターするわ。
Frank Jr.: How about tomorrow?	フランクJr.：じゃあ明日。
Phoebe: Well, that's not good. But you know, I can move some stuff around, and I'll be there. You and Alice just take the whole day together.	フィービー：あ、明日はだめ。でもさ、何とかして助けるわよ。あなたとアリスを助けるわ。
Frank Jr.: You'd do that for us?	フランクJr.：俺たちのために？
Phoebe: Are you kidding? That's what sisters are for.	フィービー：もちろんよ。私はあなたの姉なのよ。
Frank Jr.: (looks at the triplets) Look at them! Aw. I love you so much. (Strokes Leslie's hair, and she moves a little.) Oh crap, don't wake up, don't wake up!	フランクJr.：（三つ子を見る）　見ろよ！　ほんとみんな大好きだ。　（レスリーの髪の毛をなでるとレスリーが少し動く）　だめ、起きちゃだめ、起きちゃだめ！
[Scene: Bill and Colleen's apartment. Chandler comes running into the living room. Monica is the only one there.]	[ビルとコリーンのアパート。チャンドラーが居間へとやってくる。ビルとコリーンはいない。]
Chandler: Where are Bill and Colleen?	チャンドラー：ビルとコリーンは？
Monica: They're in the kitchen getting something to eat. Can you believe how nice they are?	モニカ：キッチンに何か食べるものを取りに行ったわ。2人ともほんといい人よね。
Chandler: We have to leave!!	チャンドラー：すぐに帰るぞ！！
Monica: Why? What did you do in the bathroom?	モニカ：トイレでいったい何したのよ？
Chandler: I didn't get to the bathroom. I bumped into Owen on the way, and he didn't know he was adopted. And there's a slight chance I may have told him.	チャンドラー：トイレまでいけなかったんだよ。オーウェンに会ってさ、何か向こうは養子だってのしらないみたいで。もしかしたーら、俺言っちゃったかもしんないんだよね。
Monica: Oh my god, where's my purse? No, you know what? I can replace everything in there. Get that binder, and let's go!	モニカ：まずいわよ！　カバンどこだっけ？　あー、もうたいしたもんは入ってないからいいや。バインダー持って逃げるわよ！
(Bill and Colleen enter.)	ビルとコリーンが入室。
Colleen: Hey.	コリーン：おまたせ。
Bill: Some little snacks for everybody. Oh, you don't have to eat the sour worms. Those are for Owen.	ビル：スナックでもどうですか？　あ、サワーウォームはオーウェンのだから食べないでくださいね。
Colleen: I'll go get him in a second. By the way, you should know we haven't told him he's adopted yet.	コリーン：ちょっと呼んできますね。あ、そうそう、まだオーウェンに養子だって言ってないんで。
Chandler: But kids are so intuitive. Don't you think on some level he already knows?	チャンドラー：あー、でも子供って鋭いですからねぇ。気づいてるんじゃないんでしょうか？
(Owen comes running in.)	オーウェンが走ってやってくる。
Owen: I'm adopted?!	オーウェン：僕養子なの！？
Chandler: See? Intuitive!	チャンドラー：ほーら、鋭いでしょ！
Bill: What? Where did you hear that?	ビル：え？　誰が言ったんだい？
Owen: He told me! And he paid me 50 dollars not to tell.	オーウェン：この人！　口止め料にって50ドル渡された。
Chandler: Which technically now you should give back!	チャンドラー：言っちゃったんだから50ドル返せよ！
Colleen: You told him he's adopted?	コリーン：養子だって言ったんですか？
Chandler: I'm so sorry, but you should have a sign out there or something. Or at least whisper it to people when they come in the door. "Owen doesn't know he's adopted, and he also thinks that Santa is real."	チャンドラー：すいません。でも注意書きでも書いといてくださいよ！　せめてささやくとかさぁ、"オーウェンは養子なのは知りません。しかもサンタは存在すると思ってます。"って。
Owen: He isn't?!	オーウェン：サンタいないの！？
Chandler: (to Monica) We have to get out of here, baby!	チャンドラー：（モニカに）　さっさと逃げようぜ！
[Scene: Ross's apartment. Rachel, Joey and Charlie are eating fajitas when Ross enters from the kitchen.]	[ロスのアパート。レイチェル、ジョーイ、チャーリーがファヒータを食べているとロスがキッチンから出てくる。]
Ross: Everyone? I would like to make a toast to Rachel and Joey.	ロス：みんなぁ。レイチェルとジョーイに乾杯だぁ。
Rachel: Ooy.	レイチェル：はーい。
Ross: And to love. Ah, love. L-O-V-E, love. L is for life. And what is life without love?	ロス：そして愛に。あー、ラブ、L-O-V-E。ラーブ。Lは"人生（life）"のLだぁ。愛のない人生なんてあるんだろーかぁ？
Rachel: (to Joey) Oh my god, are we supposed to answer?	レイチェル：（ジョーイに）　もしかして答えなきゃいけないわけ？
Ross: O is for "oh, wow!" The V is for this very surprising turn of events, which I'm still fine with by the way. E is for how extremely normal I find it. That you two are together. And now one day you might get married and have children of your own.	ロス：Oは"オー、ワァオ"のOだぁ。そしてVは"すげぇ驚いたよぉ（very suprising trun of events）"のVだぁ。あー、でも僕はへーきだけどねぇー。Eは"めっちゃ普通じゃーん（extremely normal I find it）"のEだぁ。そして、そのうち君たちは結婚するだろう。しかも子供まで…。
(Ross chokes up and pauses. Rachel and Joey look at him.)	ロスは言葉を詰まらせ、止まる。レイチェルとジョーイはロスを見る。
Joey: Dude, are you okay?	ジョーイ：おい、まじで大丈夫か？
Ross: Totally.	ロス：もちろんさ。
Rachel: Ross, you don't seem okay.	レイチェル：ロス、大丈夫には見えないわ。
Ross: (on the verge of tears) I'm sorry, it must be the pressure of entertaining. I think everyone would feel better if we had some flan.	ロス：（泣きそう）　ごめん。もうホスト役だから疲れちゃって。フランでも食べよう。 flan　フラン。メキシコのデザート。
Charlie: Wait, Ross. Ross. I - I have to take off.	チャーリー：待って、ロス。ロス。私、そろそろ帰らなきゃ。
Ross: No!	ロス：えー！
Charlie: I'm sorry, I have a really early class in the morning, but this has been lovely.	チャーリー：ごめんなさい、明日は朝から授業があるのよ。でも楽しいディナーだったわ。
Ross: Wasn't it? And you thought it would be awkward with Joey and that you never really liked Rachel.	ロス：でしょー。ジョーイといると変だと思ってたけど大丈夫だったじゃん。レイチェルのことあんま好きじゃないのに一緒にいれたし。
Charlie: You're on fire! I'll call you in the morning, okay?	チャーリー：もうあなためちゃめちゃね！　じゃ朝に電話するわ。
Ross: Okay.	ロス：うん。
Charlie: Alright.	チャーリー：じゃあね。
(Ross goes to the kitchen.)	ロスはキッチンへと行く。
Charlie: God, Rachel, what Ross just said that is just so..	チャーリー：あ、レイチェル。さっきロスはああ言ってたけど…
Rachel: Oh, that's okay, girls tend not to like me.	レイチェル：あー、別にいいのよ。女の子って私のことあんま好きじゃないみたいだし。
Charlie: Bye.	チャーリー：じゃあね。
(Ross enters from the kitchen with three plates with flan.)	ロスがフランを持ってキッチンから出てくる。
Ross: Okay, I guess it's just flan for three! Hey, hey, that rhymed!	ロス：はーい、フランだよぉ。お、韻ふんでんじゃん。 ※：韻を踏むとはJoeyとSnowyのような組み合わせのこと。この場合はどこが韻を踏んでいるのかよくわかりません。
Rachel: You know what, Ross? I think we're gonna take off too.	レイチェル：あのさ、ロス。私たちも帰らないと。
Ross: Oh, oh. Of course. God, I'm so stupid. You guys are a couple now. I mean, you probably just want to be alone.	ロス：あー、そりゃそうだ。僕もバカだなぁ。君らはもうカップルなんだ。そりゃ2人でいたいよね。
Rachel: No, no, it's just that it's getting late...	レイチェル：違うのよ。もう遅いし…
Ross: Hey, hey, it's fine. It's totally fine. We've got plenty of margaritas. It's all good.	ロス：だーいじょーぶだってぇ。いいんだよ。マルガリータがあるからね。もうサイコーさー。
(The oven timer pings again.)	オーブンの音がする。
Ross: I don't even know what that's for.	ロス：あれ、何か焼いてたっけぇ？
(He goes back to the kitchen.)	ロスはキッチンへと戻っていく。
Joey: You know what? I think I'm gonna stay here and make sure he's okay.	ジョーイ：あのさ、俺はしばらくここにいてあいつを見てるよ。
Rachel: Yeah, that's probably a good idea.	レイチェル：うん。そうね。
Joey: Yeah. I'll see you in the morning.	ジョーイ：あぁ。また朝会おう。
Rachel: Uh-huh. Okay. You know what, Joey, I don't think he's ever gonna be okay with this.	レイチェル：うん。あのさ、ジョーイ。ロスが立ち直るとは思えないんだけど。
Joey: It doesn't look good, does it?	ジョーイ：あぁ、俺もそう思う。
(They kiss each other on the cheek, and Rachel leaves.)	2人はほおにキスをしあう。レイチェルが去る。
[Scene: Ross's apartment the next morning. Ross is very hung-over on the couch as Joey enters with a cup of coffee for him.]	[ロスのアパート。翌朝。ロスはソファーの上でぶっ倒れている。ジョーイがコーヒーカップを持って入ってくる。]
Joey: Morning. Here you go.	ジョーイ：おはよう。コーヒーだぜ。
Ross: Thanks. Did you stay here all night?	ロス：ありがと。ずっとここにいたのか？
Joey: Yeah.	ジョーイ：あぁ。
Ross: So you took off my pants and shoes?	ロス：じゃあ、お前が僕のズボンとシャツ脱がしたの？
Joey: No, no, no. You actually did that when you were dancing to the Chicago-soundtrack. Look, Ross, about, about Rachel and I. Listen, you don't have to worry about that, okay? Because nothing is gonna happen.	ジョーイ：違う、違う。お前が脱いだんだよ。シカゴのサウンドトラックで踊ってるときにね。あのさ、ロス、レイチェルと俺の話だけど。心配するな。何も起こんないから。
Ross: What do you mean?	ロス：どういうこと？
Joey: Well, she and I said from the beginning that we weren't gonna do anything unless you were okay with it. And clearly..	ジョーイ：あぁ、レイチェルとお前が大丈夫じゃないんなら何もしないってことにしてたから…
Ross: Hey, what are you talking about? I'm fine!	ロス：何言ってんだよ？　僕はだいじょーぶさ！
Joey: It's okay, Ross, alright? I totally understand. Of course you're not fine. You're.. You're Ross and Rachel.	ジョーイ：いいんだよ、ロス。分かってるさ。平気なわけないよ。だって…、ロスとレイチェルだもん。
Ross: Except we're not. I mean, we haven't been a couple in like, six years. Oh my god, is that right? Has it been that long?	ロス：でももう違うんだ…。僕らはもう6年もデートしてないんだ…。6年…、そんなに経ったのか？
Joey: That's what I hear, yeah.	ジョーイ：そうみたいね。
Ross: This is crazy. I mean, six years? And because of me you guys aren't gonna be together? Can I ask you something? Really, what is this thing with you and Rachel?	ロス：そんなにか、もう6年なのか？　それなのに僕のせいで君たちが一緒になれないなんて…。一つ聞いていいか？　マジの話さ、レイチェルとはどうなの？
Joey: Come on, I mean, you know me, you know...	ジョーイ：そりゃー、もう。俺のこたぁ知ってるだろ。
Ross: Joey.	ロス：ジョーイ。
Joey: I'm crazy about her.	ジョーイ：俺はもう夢中だよ。
Ross: And she feels the same way?	ロス：レイチェルもそうなのか？
Joey: I think so.	ジョーイ：そうだと思うぜ。
Ross: Well, then, maybe it's time we all moved on.	ロス：そうか…。それじゃあそろそろ僕ら決別しなきゃな。
Joey: Yeah, but, Ross, I mean, you're not okay with it.	ジョーイ：あぁ、でも、ロス。お前まだ気持ちの整理が…。
Ross: No, but I wanna be. Hey, I will be. Besides, I'm with Charlie, right? Oh my god, I'm still with Charlie, aren't I? I mean, she didn't see the dance, did she?	ロス：あぁ、まだだ…。でもつけたいんだ。つけてみせる。それに僕にはチャーリーがいる。え！　もしかしてチャーリーにダンスを見せちゃった？
Joey: No, no, no, no, that was - that was just for me. Are you sure about this?	ジョーイ：だいじょーぶ。うーん…、見たの俺だけだから。で、本気なのか？
Ross: Yeah, I'm sure.	ロス：あぁ、本気だよ。
Joey: And we're okay?	ジョーイ：ほんとに大丈夫なのか？
(Ross smiles and holds up his hand for a high-five, but he has forgotten about his burnt hands. He gasps in pain as Joey grabs his hand.)	ロスは微笑み、手を挙げ、ハイタッチ。しかし昨晩ファヒータのせいで手を焼けどしており、痛がる。

Monica: Hey, Phoebs	モニカ：おす、フィービー。
Phoebe: Hey.	フィービー：おす。
Monica: Uhm, we just wanna give you a heads-up. Bill and Colleen hate us.	モニカ：あ、そうそう、言っとくけど、ビルとコリーン、私たちのこと嫌ってるから。
Chandler: Owen didn't know he was adopted, and Monica told him.	チャンドラー：オーウェンは養子だって知らないのに、モニカが言っちゃったんだ。
Monica: What?	モニカ：は？
Phoebe: Still, he had to find out sometime.	フィービー：でもさぁ、いつかは知ることじゃん。
Chandler: Yeah, but how would you like it if someone told the triplets that you gave birth to them?	チャンドラー：あぁ、でも三つ子に生みの母は君だって言うこと考えてみろよ。
(The triplets stare at him.)	三つ子がチャンドラーを見る。
Chandler: I'm gonna go tell Emma she was an accident. (Runs off.)	チャンドラー：さてと、エマに産まれたのはできちゃったからだって言ってくるか。　（逃げ出す）
