Joey: You slept out here?	ジョーイ：ここで寝たの？

Ross: Um, I do not want her baby-sitting our child.	ロス：エイミーにエマのベビーシッターなんかしてほしくないんだけど。
Rachel: Why not?	レイチェル：なんでよ？
Ross: Well, for one thing, she keeps calling her Ella!	ロス：まずエマのことエラって呼んでる！
Rachel: (Defends Amy) Wha.. well, Ella's a nice name!	レイチェル：（エイミーの擁護）　で、でも、エラっていい名前じゃん！
Ross: Fine, we'll call the next one Ella.	ロス：じゃあ次の子をエラにすりゃいいじゃん。

(Amy approaches from behind)	エイミーが後ろからやってくる。
Amy: um... listen, I couldn't help but overhear... 'cause I was trying to... Listen, let me do this alright? I really wanna help you guys out, and plus Rachel's been so wonderful to me... (looks at him pleadingly)	エイミー：あのー、聞こえちゃったんだけど…、まぁ聞こうとしてたからなんだけど。ねぇ、私にやらせてよ。2人を助けたいの。それに姉さんは私にすごく親切にしてくれてるし…　（懇願するようにロスを見る）

Chandler: Hey Joe! How's the second draft of the letter coming?	チャンドラー：おっす、ジョーイ！　推薦状はできたかい？
Joey: Great, I'm finished! In fact, I just dropped it off at the agency.	ジョーイ：おう。もう終わったぜ。さっき代理店に渡してきたよ。
(Chandler and Monica look shocked)	チャンドラーとモニカはショック。
Monica: You dropped it off?	モニカ：渡してきた？
Joey: Yeah.	ジョーイ：あぁ。
Chandler: Can we read it? Can you print out another copy?	チャンドラー：俺ら読みたいんだけど。予備の分印刷した？
Joey: No can do amigo. No, I didn't use the computer. Felt more personal to hand-write it. (Chandler and Monica look even more shocked)	ジョーイ：いーや、そりゃ無理だ。パソコン使わなかったもん。手書きのほうが人間味があっていいかなって。　（チャンドラーとモニカはさらにショック）
Monica: You hand-wrote it?	モニカ：手書き！？

Chandler: It's ok, it's ok. You know what? (Takes out his mobile) I'll just call the agency and tell them to throw out the letter. (starts dialing)	チャンドラー：大丈夫、大丈夫。　（携帯電話を取り出す）　代理店に電話して、手紙を捨ててもらう。　（ダイアル）
Monica: Okay good.	モニカ：そうね。
Chandler: (on the phone) Hello, this is Chandler Bing. Somebody just dropped off a handwritten recommendation letter, and.. (listens) Uh-huh... Uh-huh... okay... thank you. Good-bye. (hangs up looking very confused).	チャンドラー：（電話）　もしもし、チャンドラー・ビングです。何か誰かが手書きの推薦状を送ったみたいで…　（聞く）　はい…、はい…、はい…、どうも。失礼します。　（電話を切り、困惑した様子）
Monica: Ugh, we're screwed, aren't we? You know what? Just tell me on the way to the bird store.	モニカ：はー、もうだめか。ペット屋に行く途中に教えて。
Chandler: (Still looks confused) They loved it.	チャンドラー：（困惑した様子）　気に入ったって。
Monica: What?	モニカ：え？
Chandler: They thought it was very smart of us to have a child write the recommendation letter.	チャンドラー：子供に推薦状書かせるなんて素晴らしいと思ったらしいよ。
Monica: (surprised) They thought Joey was a child?	モニカ：（びっくり）　ジョーイが子供？
Chandler: She guessed 8, 9, based on his drawings.	チャンドラー：筆跡から8歳か9歳だと思ったって。
(Amy comes in with Emma in a stroller)	エイミーがエマを乳母車にのせてやってくる。
Amy: Hi!	エイミー：おっす！
Monica: Hey, what did you guys do today?	モニカ：どーも、今日は何したの？
Amy: Ella wanted to go out, so we went shopping and got some sushi.	エイミー：エラが外行きたいみたいだから、ショッピング行って、寿司食べてきた。
Chandler: That sounds like fun.	チャンドラー：へぇ、楽しそうだね。
Amy: Yeah, not really. Babies are dull.	エイミー：うーん、あんまり。赤ちゃんって頭悪い。
(Rachel comes in, sees Amy and Emma)	レイチェルがやってくる。エイミーとエマを発見。
Rachel: (To Emma) Hey! Hi, how's my girl?	レイチェル：（エマに）　私の子は元気かなぁ？
Amy: I'm fine! And, I got you a present for letting me stay with you. Ready?	エイミー：元気よぉ！　泊めてくれたお礼にプレゼントがあるの。準備はいい？
Rachel: (sounds excited) Yeah!	レイチェル：（楽しみ）　うん！
(Amy takes off Emma's hat)	エイミーはエマの帽子を取る。
Amy: Ta-daaa!	エイミー：じゃーん！
(Rachel looks at Emma)	レイチェルはエマを見る。
Rachel: (not excited anymore) You pierced her ears!?	レイチェル：（興奮が冷める）　ピアス！？
Amy: (Very excited about it) Doesn't it make her nose look smaller?	エイミー：（興奮）　鼻が小さく見えるでしょ！？
(Rachel looks very shocked)	レイチェルはとてもショック。

Rachel: You pierced her ears? How could you do this without telling me?	レイチェル：エマにピアスした！？　何で私に言わないのよ！？
Amy: Well, if I had told you, then it wouldn't have been surprise, now would it?	エイミー：だって言ったら驚きのプレゼントじゃないじゃん。
Chandler: I think she looks cute. (Rachel turns around and stares at him angrily) ... but I am wrong!	チャンドラー：かわいいじゃん。　（レイチェルは振り返りチャンドラーをにらむ）　でもそりゃ間違ってる！
Rachel: Oh my God, Oh my God, here comes Ross. He's gonna flip out.	レイチェル：あー、ロスが来ちゃったじゃん。絶対ぶちきれるわよ。
Amy: Why, did something happen to his falafel cart?	エイミー：何で？　フェラフェルのカートが壊れたりしたの？
Rachel: Ugh. (takes the hat and covers Emma's head and half her face with it)	レイチェル：は？　（帽子を手に取り、それでエマの頭を隠す。）
(Ross enters)	ロスが入室。
Ross: Hey guys.	ロス：おっす。
Monica and Chandler: Hi Ross.	モニカとチャンドラー：おっす。
Ross: Hey Emma. Oh, why is she wearing her hat so low? She can barely see. (Wants to take the hat off, but Rachel tries to stop him).	ロス：エマ。何でそんなに帽子を深くかぶってるのかなぁ？　前が見えないじゃん。　（帽子を取ろうとするがレイチェルが止める）
Rachel: Nah, I don't really want her to see.	レイチェル：前見えないほうがいいじゃん。
Ross: Why not?	ロス：何で？
Monica: Because there are so many terrible sights in this world.	モニカ：だって、世界には醜いものが一杯あるじゃん。
Chandler: Like war. Or that thing in Joey's refrigerator. Remember? It was in a milk carton but it looked like meat?	チャンドラー：戦争とかね。ほら、あとジョーイの冷蔵庫に入ってるやつ。覚えてる？　牛乳カートンに入ってたんだけど、肉みたいなやつ。
Ross: Come here (Removes Emma's hat) Oh! There she is! Hi!	ロス：いいじゃん。　（帽子を取る）　はーい、エマちゃーん。
(Rachel looks worried)	レイチェルは心配そう。
Ross: (sees how strangely Monica, Chandler and Rachel are looking at him) What?	ロス：（モニカ、チャンドラー、レイチェルがロスのほうを変な感じで見てるのに気づく）　どうしたの？
Rachel: Nothing.	レイチェル：別に。
Ross: (Back to Emma) Hi! (Looks at her) What... (Moves the stroller away from him so he can get a better look at her. He looks at her confused. Finally he realizes the difference and gasps). Please tell me those are clip-ons.	ロス：（エマの方を見る）　ん…？　（乳母車を動かしてよくエマを見る。困惑した顔に変わり、ピアスに気づき、息をのむ）　これ本物じゃないだろ！？
Rachel: Oh, they're real!	レイチェル：んーん、本物よ！
Ross: Did she (points at Amy) do this to her? I told you we shouldn't have left Emma with her!	ロス：（エイミーを指して）　あいつがやったのか？　だからだめだっていったじゃないか！
Rachel: I know, I know, and you were right Ross. (To Amy) You are soo irresponsible I am never letting you baby-sit ever again!	レイチェル：うん、ロスが正しかったわ。　（エイミーに）　あんた無責任すぎ！　もうあんたにベビーシッターなんか頼まない！
Amy: Hey you know what, this kid needs me, okay? She needs to have a cool fun aunt!	エイミー：エラには私が必要なのよ。クールな叔母が必要でしょ！

Ross: (pointing at Amy, shouting) No more falafel for you!	ロス：（エイミーを指差して叫ぶ）　もうお前にはフェラフェル売らん！
(Amy looks at Ross, angrily. Rachel clearly doesn't understand what he meant and looks at Ross who gestures "later".)	エイミーはロスを怒った表情で見る。レイチェルは意味がわからない。ロスは後で説明するとジェスチャー。
[Scene: Madison Square Garden. Phoebe and Mike are watching the game. There's cheering, but Phoebe seems distracted.]	[マディソンスクエアガーデン。フィービーとマイクが試合を見てる。歓声があがり、フィービーは何かを気にしてる]

(Rachel and Amy enter)	レイチェルとエイミーが入ってくる。
Rachel: Joey, get Amy's bags, she is moving out!	レイチェル：ジョーイ、エイミーのバッグ持ってきて、もう出てくから！
Joey: Whoo-hoo! (and leaves for Rachel's room)	ジョーイ：いやっほー！　（レイチェルの部屋に行く）
Amy: You're kicking me out?	エイミー：私を追い出すの？
Rachel: You put holes in my baby's ears!	レイチェル：あんたエマの耳に穴あけたのよ！
Amy: Yeah well, at least now people will know she is a girl!	エイミー：そうよ。そうじゃなきゃ女の子だって分からないじゃん！
Rachel: (gasps) I can't believe I ever even tried to help you. You are so beyond help.	レイチェル：（息をのむ）　あんたを助けようとしたなんて信じられない。あんたもう手遅れだわ！
Amy: You know what? Ever since I got here, you have been nothing but negative.	エイミー：私がここにきてかっら、姉さん否定してばっかじゃん！
Rachel: Excuse me?	レイチェル：はい？
Amy: You didn't want me to marry the old guy with the great apartment. Then, I tried to help your daughter to de-emphasize her flaws (frantically pointing at her nose) And suddenly I am the bad guy?	エイミー：マイロンと結婚させてくれなかったし、あんなすごいアパートなのに！　んで、姉さんの娘の欠点をカバーしようそしたのに　（鼻を指差す）　私が悪者！？
Rachel: (yelling) Joey, where are those bags?	レイチェル：（叫ぶ）　ジョーイ！　バッグは！？
Joey: (Yelling from Rachel's room) She has a lot of crap!	ジョーイ：（レイチェルの部屋から叫ぶ）　ガラクタばっかでまとまんねぇ！
Amy: You know what? When I moved in here I thought: This is gonna be so great. Just us sisters, back together again like when we were kids, except without that stupid Jill... Oh! Who has gotten fat by the way...	エイミー：ここに来たときはきっと楽しくなると思ったのに。姉妹が子供のころみたいに再会。あのバカジルは除いてね！　あ、そうそう、しかも太ったらしいよ。
Rachel: (doesn't believe what she's hearing) Seriously?	レイチェル：（何を聞いているのか信じられない模様）　ほんとに？
Amy: hm-mmm... Mom said she gained like fifteen pounds.	エイミー：うん。母さんが7キロも太ったって言ってた。
Rachel: Hips or thighs?	レイチェル：お尻？　太もも？
Amy: Ass and face.	エイミー：ケツと顔。
Rachel: (gasps) Oh! Oh my God! I thought she was on Atkins.	レイチェル：（息をのむ）　えー！　あいつアトキンズダイエットやってなかった？ Atkins　アトキンズダイエット。今アメリカで話題のダイエット手法。炭水化物を極力避ける。
Amy: She was. Carbs found her... See, this is what I wanted. Two sisters, talking about real stuff.	エイミー：うん。でも炭水化物食べちゃったみたい。ね、これがほしかったのよ。2人の姉妹がマジな会話。
Rachel: (embarrassed) Oh, I can give you that.	レイチェル：そうか。それだったらいいわ。
Amy: You can?	エイミー：そう？
Rachel: Yeah. I just, I kept trying to make you a better person, but you're... you're already a pretty perfect version of what you are.	レイチェル：うん。もっといい人間にしようとしてたけど…、もうあなたの人格はもう完成されちゃったみたいだし。
Amy: (touched) Thank you. I've got to admit, Emma does look cute.	エイミー：（感動）　ありがと。エマってかわいいね。
Rachel: Did you just say Emma?	レイチェル：え、エマって言った？
Amy: Ugh, I'm sorry... Ella.	エイミー：あ、ごめん。エラだった。
[Scene: Mike and Phoebe at a restaurant.]	[マイクとフィービーがレストランにいる。]
Phoebe: That woman at the game didn't know what she was talking about. Mike, obviously you have balls.	フィービー：あの女一体何言ってんだろうね。マイクは明らかにボール持ってるじゃん。
Mike: But please, let's just forget the whole thing.	マイク：た、頼むからもう忘れよう。
Phoebe: (the waiter puts a piece of cake on the table) I would love it. Consider it forgotten... But just so you know... however and whenever you decide to propose, I promise I'll say yes. Whether... whether, you know, it is in a basketball game, or in sky writing, or you know, like some lame guy in a cheesy movie who hides it in the cake.	フィービー：（ウェイターがケーキをテーブルの上に置く）　うん。もう忘れたわ…。それにさ…、どんな風にプロポーズしても、いつプロポーズしても、私"Yes"って言うから。バスケの試合でも、スカイライティングでも、ケーキに指輪隠すようなダサイ方法でも…。 sky writing　飛行機で文字を書くこと。
(Mike's face changes from happy to sad, and he looks at the cake, disappointed.)	マイクの表情が変わり、ケーキを見て、がっかり。
Phoebe: It's in the cake, isn't it?	フィービー：け、ケーキに入ってるの？
Mike: (puts on a fake smile) Where else would lame Mr. No Balls hide it? (he takes the ring from the cake, and cleans it with a napkin)	マイク：（偽の笑顔）　ミスターノーボール君はどうしたらいいんでしょうね？　（ケーキから指輪を出し、ナプキンで指輪を拭く。）
Phoebe: What's the matter with me? How do I keep ruining this? I'm sorry, I'm sorry!	フィービー：私、もうどうしちゃったんだろ？　何でずっと邪魔ばっか。ごめんね。
Mike: No! It's my fault. I keep trying to propose in these stupid ways and all I wanna do is tell you that I love you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you.	マイク：違うよ！　僕のせいだよ。僕が変な方法でプロポーズしようとしてばっかりいるからだよ。僕は"君を愛していて、一生君とともに暮らしたい"って言いたいだけなのに。
(Phoebe has this weird, anxious, nervous look on her face)	フィービーは緊張した顔になる。
Mike: I'm gonna do this now.	マイク：今やるよ。
Phoebe: Oh my God!	フィービー：うん！
(Mike starts to kneel in front of Phoebe.)	マイクはフィービーの前で片ひざをつく。
Mike: Phoebe, I...	マイク：フィービー…
Phoebe: Wait! Oh wait! (she takes off a ring that was already on her left ring finger. After that Mike starts to kneel again, but then...) Oh no! (She was wearing rings on all her fingers and her thumb, and takes all of these off.)	フィービー：あ、待って！　（左手の薬指の指輪を取る。マイクはまた片ひざをつく）　あ、待って　（他の指にはめている左手の指輪すべて取り去る）
Mike: Ready?	マイク：いい？
Phoebe: Uh-huh! (and now Mike kneels properly)	フィービー：うん！　（マイクは片ひざをつく）
Mike: Phoebe, I love you. There's no-one else in the world I would ask to marry me... three times. But I wanna take care of you, have babies with you, and grow old with you... Phoebe Buffay, will you marry me?	マイク：フィービー、愛してる。君以外にプロポーズしたい人なんかいない…、しかも3回も。でも君と一緒にいたい。君と子供を育てたい。君と一生一緒にいたい…。フィービー・ブッフェ、結婚してくれるかい？
Phoebe: Yes!	フィービー：うん！
(Mike puts the ring on her finger)	マイクはフィービーの指に指輪をはめる。
Mike: I love you!	マイク：愛してるよ！
Phoebe: I love you more!	フィービー：私のほうがもっと愛してるわ！
Mike: Not possible! (they kiss, and then Mike says proudly...) She's gonna be Mrs. No Balls.	マイク：それは不可能だ。　（2人はキス）　ミセス・ノーボルの誕生だ。
(They kiss again, and Phoebe looks at the ring.)	再びキス。フィービーは指輪を見る。

Rachel: So how is the uhm... baby styling business going?	レイチェル：そうそう、ベイビースタイリングはどう？
Amy: Not that great. It's almost if people don't want to hear that their babies are ugly.	エイミー：うーん、いまいちかなぁ。何か子供が醜いって言われたくないらしいの。
Rachel: That's shocking!	レイチェル：そりゃショックねぇ。
Amy: Oh! It's Ross... Hey Ross! (She says hey to the guy at the falafel stand, whose only similarity with Ross would be his black hair.) Hello-oo Ross! (to Rachel) He's rude!	エイミー：あ、ロスだ。おーい、ロス！　（フェラフェルを売っている男に話しかける。ちょっとだけロスに似てる。）　ちょっとロス！　（レイチェルに）　失礼しちゃうわ！
