Chandler: I'd better go pack.	チャンドラー：あぁ、ちょっと荷造りしてくる。

Rachel: And I also wanted you guys to know that I am telling the father today. (They all look at her expectantly) What? What? What?	レイチェル：あ、あと今日こそ父親に妊娠したこと言うわよ。　（みんなレイチェルをじっと見つめる）　え？　え？　どうしたの？

Rachel: Oh, I so wanted Ross to know first, but I'm so relieved you guys know.	レイチェル：あら、ロスに一番最初に言いたかったけど、みんなが知ったと分かってほっとしったわ。
Monica: This is so great! And I'm gonna be your baby's aunt!	モニカ：すごいわ！　これで私は赤ちゃんの叔母になるのよ！
Rachel: I know! (They hug.)	レイチェル：そうよ！　（2人はハグ）

Rachel: Okay. Great! So now that you guys all know you can help me. Give me some advice on how I'm gonna tell Ross!	レイチェル：うん。じゃあいろいろと相談できるわ。どうやってロスに伝えたらいいかな。
Monica: Well, what were you gonna say?	モニカ：何を言う予定なの？
Rachel: Well I was gonna tell him that I'm-I'm gonna have the baby and he can be as involved as he wants.	レイチェル：そうね。まずは私は赤ちゃんを産む予定だってこと。あと私たちに関わりたいかどうかはロスの自由だってこと。
Joey: Well that, that sounds good.	ジョーイ：へぇ、いいんじゃない。
Rachel: Yeah but how do I start? I mean, what's-what's the first thing that I say? (They all pause to think.) Okay great! Thanks. (She starts to leave.)	レイチェル：うん。でもどうやって切り出すの？　最初になんて言ったらいいのかしら？　（みんな考え込む）　はい、ありがと。　（去る）
Monica: Hey! Good luck!	モニカ：じゃあ、頑張ってね！

(Rachel exits.)	レイチェルが退室。
Chandler: (entering) Hey, what was that all about?	チャンドラー：（寝室から出てくる）　おっす。どうしたの？
Monica: Well I guess there is no harm in telling you now, Rachel and Ross are gonna have a baby.	モニカ：もう言っても大丈夫よね。レイチェルが兄さんの赤ちゃんを産むの。
Chandler: (in a high pitched voice) What?! I didn't even know that? Why didn't you tell me?! (Pause) Why am I talking like this?!	チャンドラー：（非常に高い声で）　は？！　何で俺知らないんだよ？　何で俺に言わなかったんだよ？！　（間）　なんで俺はこんな声で話してるんだよ？！
Monica: I didn't think you could keep it a secret.	モニカ：あなたが黙ってられると思わなかったから。
Chandler: (in the high pitched voice) What?! (Normal voice) I am an excellent secret keeper. I have kept all of our secrets.	チャンドラー：（非常に高い声で）　何？！　（普通の声で）　俺は口が堅いんだぞ。俺らの秘密は一つも喋ってないぞ。
Joey: What secrets?	ジョーイ：お前らの秘密って何だよ。

(Listens) Uhh, gas leak! Yeah oh, and bring garlic bread. Ross: Oh well, I guess I'll catch up with her later.	ロス：あ、そう。じゃあ後で会っとくよ。
Phoebe: Well, she really wanted to talk to you now.	フィービー：けっこう真剣に話したいみたいだったわよ。
Joey: Yeah, it seemed pretty important.	ジョーイ：あぁ、けっこう大事な話っぽいぜ。
Ross: Oh no.	ロス：そうか…
Phoebe: What?	フィービー：どうしたの？
Ross: I think I might know what this is about.	ロス：多分、あのことだな。
(Phoebe and Joey trade looks)	フィービーとジョーイは見合う。
Joey: Really?	ジョーイ：あのことって？
Ross: Yeah. Uh, uh we promised we weren't gonna tell anybody this but uh, about a month ago Rachel and I slept together.	ロス：あぁ、誰にも言わないって約束したんだが…。1ヶ月前にレイチェルと寝たんだよ。
Phoebe: (deadpan) And?	フィービー：（無反応）　で？
Ross: Wow! I thought you would be a little more shocked.	ロス：あれ？　もっとショック受けると思ったのにな。
Phoebe: Oh sorry. (Shocked) And?!	フィービー：あ、ごめん。　（ショック）　で？！
Ross: Well, we-we said we'd just do it that one time but, but now I think she may wanna start things up again.	ロス：あぁ、1回っきりだって言ったんだが、どうやらまた僕らの関係を発展させたいみたいだ。
Joey: Yeah, I don't think that's what it is.	ジョーイ：あぁ、それじゃないと思うよ。
Ross: Why? What-what else could it be?	ロス：何で？　ほかに何があるんだよ？
Joey: Oh wow, I don't feel well.	ジョーイ：うー、何か気分悪いな。
Ross: I'm telling you. I'm telling you. That's what it is. No wonder she was looking at me all funny during the wedding. She didn't say anything to you?	ロス：そうだって。絶対その話だよ。だからレイチェルは結婚式の間、僕のこと変な目で見てたのか。レイチェルなんか言ってなかった？
Phoebe: (To Joey) Maybe it's something you ate?	フィービー：（ジョーイに）　もしかして食あたり？
Joey: Please, just-just, just go and talk to Rachel.	ジョーイ：とにかく早くレイチェルと話したほうがいいぜ。
Ross: Yeah, I guess I should. (Starts to leave.) Man, y'know what I have to realize? Maybe I'm just not the type of guy women can have just one night with. Y'know, they-they always seem to want a little bit more. I should remember that. (He pauses and then exits.)	ロス：あぁ、そうだな。　　（退室しようとする）　ちょっと考えないとな。僕って1夜だけの男じゃないみたいだな。みんな、いつも僕に何かを求めるんだよな。覚えとかないとな。　（間をおき、出て行く）
[Scene: The Airport Ticket Counter, Monica and Chandler are standing in line behind another couple kissing who are next in line to be served.]	[空港のチケットカウンター。モニカとチャンドラーがキスをしているカップルの後ろに並んでいる。]
Ticket Agent: Next?	係員：次の方。
(The kissing couple doesn't move.)	カップルはキスを続ける。
Monica: They're kissing let's just go around them.	モニカ：キスしてるんだから、先にいいじゃん。
Chandler: Oh honey, leave them alone, they're in love.	チャンドラー：だめだよ。そっとしておきなよ。2人は愛し合ってるんだから。
Monica: I'm in love too! But in an orderly fashion.	モニカ：私だって愛してるわよ！　でも普通の愛し方よ。
Ticket Agent: Next?	係員：次の方。
Monica: (to the couple) Hi! Can you do that and walk? ‘Cause she said, "Next."	モニカ：（カップルに）　あの、早く進んでくれませんか？　さっきから次の人って言ってるんですけど。
(The couple moves up to the counter.)	カップルはカウンターへと進む。
Woman: Sorry. We didn't hear you; we're on our honeymoon.	女：すいません。聞こえなかったんですよ。これから新婚旅行に行くもんで。
Ticket Agent: Oh, let me see what I can do. (Checks the computer) There are some first class seats available.	係員：あら、ちょっと待ってくださいね。　（コンピューターをチェック）　ファーストクラスが空いてますよ。
Monica: (To Chandler) Did you hear that?! They bumped them up to first class because they are on their honeymoon! Come on! Let's act like we're on our honeymoon.	モニカ：（チャンドラーに）　聞いた？！　新婚旅行だからファーストクラスにクラスアップしてくれるのよ！　早く！　新婚旅行のふりして。
Chandler: We are on our honeymoon.	チャンドラー：実際に新婚旅行中なんだけど。
Monica: Grab my ass!	モニカ：ケツを握って！
Ticket Agent: Next?	係員：次の人。
(They go up to the counter.)	2人はカウンターへ
Monica: Hi, sorry. I almost didn't hear you, because y'know I'm just so in love with my new husband. We're on our honeymoon.	モニカ：どうも、すいません。聞き逃すところでした。もう夫にムチューで。新婚旅行なんです。
Ticket Agent: Congratulations. Okay, Mr. Bing you'll be in 25J and Mrs. Bing you'll be in 25K.	係員：おめでとうございます。チャンドラー・ビングさんは25J、モニカ・ビングさんは25Kになります。
Monica: Oh no, you see we're on our honeymoon. So umm, can you do your little thing and bump us up to first class?	モニカ：あの、私たち新婚旅行に行くんですよ。ちょっとなんかして、ファーストクラスにしてくれません？
Ticket Agent: I'm sorry, all our first class seats are taken. That couple got the last two.	係員：すいません。もうファーストクラスはいっぱいなんです。あのカップルで最後なんです。
Monica: (to Chandler) You see, if we'd gone around them like I said. She would've given us those tickets. Damnit!	モニカ：（チャンドラーに）　ほら、私が言ったように先に行けば、私たちがファーストクラスだったのよ。チクショー！
Chandler: (to the Ticket Agent) 25J and K, any chance those aren't together?	チャンドラー：（係員に）　25Jと25Kって隣じゃないですよね？
[Scene: Joey and Rachel's, Phoebe and Joey are playing Rock ‘em, Sock ‘em Robots.]	[ジョーイとレイチェルのアパート。2人はボクシングゲームをしている。]
Joey: I still can't believe they took away my key. You trust me with yours.	ジョーイ：あいつらがカギを預けないなんて信じられない。フィービーは俺を信じるだろ？
Phoebe: Of course I do! And I'm gonna give it back to you as soon as they're done with it at the key shining place.	フィービー：もちろん！　コピーしたらすぐにカギ返すわよ。
(They hear a knocking sound coming from the hallway and go to investigate.)	2人は廊下のノックのような音に気づき、チェックしに行く。
Joey: What the hell is that?	ジョーイ：何の音だ？
(They go into the hallway and see Mr. Treeger watching one of New York's bravest breakdown Monica and Chandler's door with an ax.]	廊下へと行く。トリガーの横で、消防士がモニカとチャンドラーのアパートのドアを斧で壊そうとしている。
Joey: Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Treeger, what are you doing?	ジョーイ：ちょっと、ちょっと！　トリガーさん。何してるんすか？
Mr. Treeger: You said there was a gas leak in here.	トリガー：ガス漏れしてるって言ってただろ。
Phoebe: Well why don't you use your key?	フィービー：カギで開けたら？
Mr. Treeger: Because by the time I find it on this thing (Holds up a huge key ring with a thousand keys on it), the whole place might have exploded. If that happens at another building that I manage, people are gonna start asking questions. (To the fireman) Come on! Hurry up.	トリガー：この中　（何個ものカギの束を見せる）　からこのアパートのカギを見つけるころには、ここは大爆発だ。爆発したら、いろいろと説明が面倒だからな。　（消防士に）　早く頼む。
(With a final swing the door gives way.)	ドアがぶっ壊れる。
Phoebe: Oh! We could have done that.	フィービー：うわ！　これなら私たちでもできたわよ。
[Scene: The Airport, Chandler and Monica are following the previous couple through a tiny hallway that proves this is a set on a sound stage and not an actual airport, and see them enter the first class lounge.]	[空港の廊下。チャンドラーとモニカは例のカップルの後ろを歩いている。カップルがファーストクラスラウンジに入っていく。]
Monica: Look at that! Look at that! They're going into the first class lounge! Do you know what they have in there?	モニカ：見てよ！　あいつらファーストクラスラウンジに入ってくよ！　あの中に何があるか知ってる？
Chandler: No.	チャンドラー：知らない。
Monica: Me neither! We have to get in! (She runs through the door with Chandler in tow.)	モニカ：私も知らない！　言ってみよう！　（モニカはチャンドラーとドアの方へと走っていく）
Chandler: Just act like you belong.	チャンドラー：クールにな。
Monica: Oh my God! Oranges!	モニカ：うわぁ！　オレンジよ！
Chandler: Shh! (To the guy behind the counter) Nice to see you again. (They tries to walk past him.)	チャンドラー：シー！　（カウンターの男に）　またお会いしましたね。　（2人はカウンターの男の横を通ろうとする）
Airline Employee: Uh sir, may I see your tickets please?	従業員：すいません、チケットを拝見させていただきます。
Chandler: Yes, of course. (Shows him the tickets.)	チャンドラー：あぁ、もちろんだ。　（チケットを見せる）
Airline Employee: I'm sorry, would you move your thumb? I can't see the seat number.	従業員：すいません、親指を動かしていただけませんか？　席番号が見えません。
Chandler: Oh that's all right, I have it memorized. It's 1A.	チャンドラー：あぁ、大丈夫ですよ。覚えてますから。1Aです。
Airline Employee: (grabbing the ticket from him) Sir, this is not a first class ticket. I'm sorry.	従業員：（チケットを取り上げる）　こちらはファーストクラスのチケットではございません。申し訳ありませんが。
Chandler: Apology accepted. Excuse us. (They try to enter again.)	チャンドラー：うむ、よきにはからえ。　（入ろうとする）
Airline Employee: Sir! I'm afraid I'm gonna have to ask you to leave.	従業員：お客様！　こちらにお入りいただくことはできません。
Monica: Fine. (Starts to walk away then she runs over and grabs an orange before she exits.) Go! Go! Go!	モニカ：いいわよ。　（出て行こうとするが、走り、オレンジをつかむ）　Go! Go! Go!
[Scene: The Hallway Outside Ross's Apartment, Ross is walking towards his apartment and sees Rachel sitting in front of the door.]	[ロスのアパートの外の廊下。ロスが自分のアパートへと歩いていく。レイチェルがドアの前に座っている。]
Rachel: (seeing him) Hi!	レイチェル：（ロスに気づく）　おっす！
Ross: Hi.	ロス：おっす。
Rachel: Hi. (He helps her up.) Umm, I think there's something that we really need to talk about.	レイチェル：（ロスはレイチェルに手を貸す）　どうしても話しておきたいことがあるの。
Ross: (quietly confident) I think we do. Why don't we go inside? (They go inside.) Look uh, I know why you're here.	ロス：（自信ありげ）　あぁ、そうだな。中に入ろうか。　（中に入る）　君が来た理由は知ってるよ。
Rachel: You do?	レイチェル：そうなの？
Ross: Yeah, and to save you from any embarrassment umm, I think maybe I should talk first.	ロス：あぁ、君のプライドを傷つけたくないから、僕から話すね。
Rachel: (warrily) Okay.	レイチェル：（心配そう）　うん。
Ross: Okay. (He sits her down in a chair.) Uh, Ross and Rachel. Rachel and Ross. That's been one heck of a see-saw hasn't it?	ロス：さてと。　（レイチェルをいすにすわらせる）　ロスとレイチェル。レイチェルとロス。ずーっとなんかシーソーみたいだよね。
Rachel: (confused) What?	レイチェル：（困惑）　は？
Ross: I mean look, that-that one night we had was fun and…and certainly passionate, but don't you think it's better if we just stayed friends?	ロス：あのさ、確かにあの夜は楽しかったよ…、情熱的だった…。でも僕らは友達でいたほうがいいと思わないか？
Rachel: Seriously. What?!	レイチェル：まじで何言ってるの？！
Ross: Okay. Okay. Y'know what? If you want to, we can do it one more time. I mean I'd-I'd be okay with that. In fact, I have some time right now.	ロス：わかった。わかったよ。君が望むのなら、もう一回やってもいいよ。僕はかまわないさ。ちょうどいいや、今時間あるし。

Rachel: (touches his knee) I'm pregnant. (Ross stops.) Ross? (Ross is staring off into space.) Ross? (Ross is still frozen) Okay, whenever you're ready. (Sits back and opens her magazine.) Ross: (grabs her) Shh! Shh! Shh!	ロス：（レイチェルをつかむ）　しー！　しー！　しー！
Rachel: (stops) Okay.	レイチェル：（止まる）　はいはい。
Ross: (on phone) Yeah I'll press 1! (Presses one which allows Rachel to escape.)	ロス：（電話で）　あぁ、１押すよ！　（1を押す。レイチェルは逃げ出す。）
[Scene: Monica and Chandler's, Mr. Treeger has finished inspecting Monica and Chandler's apartment.]	[モニカとチャンドラーのアパート。トリガーがモニカとチャンドラーのアパートのチェックを終える。]
Mr. Treeger: I've looked everywhere. There's no gas leak.	トリガー：全部チェックしたが、ガス漏れなんかないぞ。
Joey: (eating) Huh. So then I can heat this up? (Goes and does so.)	ジョーイ：（食べながら）　そうっすか。じゃあ火つけていいっすね。　（火をつける）
Mr. Treeger: Anyway uh, I'll get moving on that new door.	トリガー：とにかく、新しいドアが必要だな。
Phoebe: Oh great! And listen, could you do us a favor and not tell Chandler and Monica about this? ‘Cause y'know umm, they don't-they don't have any kids of their own and-and this door was like a child to them.	フィービー：そうね。ちょっとお願いが。チャンドラーとモニカにこのこと言わないでくれる？　ほら、あの2人子供がいないから、このドアは子供みたいなもんなのよ。
Mr. Treeger: Well I'm gonna have to put on a new lock, they'll find out anyway.	トリガー：カギを新しくしないといけないから、どっちにしろばれるよ。
Phoebe: Oh no.	フィービー：そうかぁ。
Mr. Treeger: (measures the top of the doorframe) Whoa! This looks like an all day job, I'll have to cancel my yoga class. (Ross walks up.) Hey Ross!	トリガー：（ドアの枠を測る）　うわぁ、これじゃ1日かかるな。ヨガ教室を休まないとだめだな。　（ロスが登場）　ロス、どうも！
Ross: Hi.	ロス：どうも。
Mr. Treeger: Could you tell Jasmine that I won't make it to yoga class today?	トリガー：ジャズミンに今日のヨガ教室にいけないって言っといてくれる？
Ross: Sure.	ロス：あぁ。
Mr. Treeger: Namaste. (Bows.)	トリガー：ナマステ。　（お辞儀）
Ross: Namaste. (Bows.)	ロス：ナマステ。　（お辞儀）
(Treeger leaves and Ross notices the door.)	トリガーは去っていき、ロスはドアが壊れていることに気づく。
Ross: Oh my God! What happened to the door?!	ロス：うわ、ドアどうしたんだよ？！
Joey: So it's noticeable huh?	ジョーイ：やっぱ、ばれちゃう？
Ross: Look, is Rachel here? I really need to talk to her.	ロス：ねぇ、レイチェル見た？　大事な話があるんだよ。
Phoebe: Didn't you two already talk?	フィービー：もう話したんじゃないの？
Ross: Yeah but uh… Okay, okay look you guys know that Rachel and I slept together, but there's something else. (Pause) Rachel's pregnant.	ロス：あぁ…、そうだな。2人ともレイチェルと僕が寝たのは知ってるだよね。でもほかにも新たな事実が…　（間）　レイチェルが妊娠したんだ。
Joey: (simultaneously) Oh my God!!! I can't believe that!!	ジョーイ：（フィービーと同時に）　まじかよ！！！　信じられねぇ！！
Phoebe: (simultaneously) Holy mother of God!!!	フィービー：（ジョーイと同時に）　うっそぉーーー！！！
Ross: With my child.	ロス：僕の子供を身ごもってるんだ。
Phoebe: That is brand new information!!	フィービー：そりゃ最新の情報だわ！！
Ross: You already know don't you?	ロス：もうすでに知ってただろ？
Phoebe: A little bit.	フィービー：ちょっとね。
Joey: How are you doing?	ジョーイ：で、気分はどうなんだ？
Ross: Okay. Okay. I mean I'll be okay. It's just I don't think I handled it very well.	ロス：あぁ、まぁ大丈夫だ。あんまりいい反応しなかったけどな。
Joey: Well, what did you say to her?	ジョーイ：レイチェルになんて言ったんだ？
Ross: Nothing. But the complaint department at the condom company got an earful. And then when I turned around she was gone.	ロス：何も言ってない。コンドーム会社のカスタマーサポートにたっぷりと文句言ってやったぜ。でも気づいたらレイチェルはいなかったんだ。
Phoebe: Oh Ross.	フィービー：あらら。
Ross: But hey, in my defense I-I just found out condoms are like only 97% effective.	ロス：まぁ、自己弁護しとくと、コンドームって97%の確率なんだってな。
Joey: (shocked) What?	ジョーイ：（ショック）　何ぃ？
Ross: I gotta go find her.	ロス：レイチェルを見つけなきゃ。
Joey: Whoa! Hey! Whoa!! Hold up! Are you serious?! So like 3% of the time they don't even work?! Huh? They should put that on the box!	ジョーイ：おい！　ちょっと待てよ！　お前本気で言ってるのか？！　じゃあ3%は役に立たないってことか？！　ちゃんと箱に書いとけよ！
Ross: Evidently they do.	ロス：書いてあるんだよ。
Joey: What?! (Grabs his condoms from his pocket and looks.)	ジョーイ：なんだと？！　（コンドームをポケットから取り出し、見る。）
[Scene: The Atlantis Resort, Chandler and Monica are arriving to check in, but are behind the couple from before again.]	[アトランティスリゾート。チャンドラーとモニカが到着してチェックイン。しかし例のカップルが目の前に。]
Monica: I can't believe we're here.	モニカ：ついに来ちゃったわ。
Chandler: Oh you've got to be kidding me.	チャンドラー：おい、冗談だろ。
Monica: What? (Monica sees the first couple and gasps.)	モニカ：どうしたの？　（例のカップルに気づき、息をのむ）
Front Desk Clerk: As a wedding gift to you, the hotel would like to give you the honeymoon suite.	受付係：では結婚祝いとして、ハニムーンスイートをサービスさせていただきます。
Monica: No!! You have been screwing us all day!	モニカ：だめ！！　いい加減にしな！
Man: Who are you?	男：誰だよ？
Chandler: We're you just ten seconds later!	チャンドラー：10秒後のお前だ！
Monica: Yeah! You already got the first class tickets; you got the lounge! I mean we should get free stuff too! I mean you're not the only ones on your honeymoon!	モニカ：そうよ！　ファーストクラスのチケット取って、ラウンジにまで行って、私たちだって無料サービス受けるべきよ！　新婚旅行してるのあんたたちだけじゃないんだからね！
Woman: Well you can have the suite if you want. We don't care about where we stay. We're here to celebrate our love together. We don't have to get free stuff. We just want to be together.	女：スイートがほしいなら、そうすればいいじゃない。私たち泊まるとこなんかどこでもいいの。私たちはただ愛を祝いたいだけなの。無料サービスなんか必要ないわ。私たちは一緒にいればいいの。
Chandler: (looks at Monica then at them) We need the stuff.	チャンドラー：（モニカを見た後）　俺らは物が必要だ。
[Scene: Monica and Chandler's, Joey is on the phone and Phoebe is watching him.]	[モニカとチャンドラーのアパート。ジョーイが電話をしており、フィービーがそれを見ている。]
Joey: Hey Monica it's Joey. Listen uh, Phoebe and I smell gas comin' from your apartment.	ジョーイ：もしもし、モニカ？　ジョーイだ。あのさ、フィービーと一緒なんだけど、お前のアパートからガスの臭いがするんだよ。
Monica: What? Are you serious?! (To Chandler) Joey smells gas!	モニカ：え？　まじで？！　（チャンドラーに）　ジョーイがガスの臭いがするって！
Chandler: What else is new?	チャンドラー：ほかには？
Joey: Yeah and we'd go check it out, but you took away our keys.	ジョーイ：中に入って調べたいけど、お前にかぎ返しちゃったから。
Monica: Well do something! Get in there!	モニカ：何とかしてよ！　中に入ってよ！
Joey: How? I guess I could break down your door.	ジョーイ：どうやって？　ドア壊してもいいのか？
Monica: Yeah! Do that!	モニカ：いいわよ！　さっさとやって！
Joey: And-and you won't blame us for any damage? (Gives Phoebe a thumbs up.)	ジョーイ：壊しても文句言わない？　（フィービーにグットマーク）
Monica: No! (Pause) Are you doing it?! I don't hear anything! Come on!	モニカ：言わないわよ。　（間）　ちゃんとやってるの？　何も聞こえないわよ。
Joey: Uh, okay I'll-I'll-I'll break it down. (He hands the phone to Phoebe, gets up, picks up a chair, and starts banging it on the floor.)	ジョーイ：よっしゃ、ぶっ壊すぞ。　（電話をフィービーに渡し、立ち上がり、いすを持ち上げ、床に打ちつけ音を出す。）
Phoebe: Oh hey hi, he's doing it. He's breaking down the door. (The chair breaks in half.) Okay, we're in. (She hangs up the phone.)	フィービー：もしもし、ジョーイがやってるわ。頑張ってドアを壊そうとしてる。　（いすが真っ二つに壊れてしまう）　開いたわ。　（電話を切る）
[Scene: A doctor's office, Rachel is on an examining table with her legs in the stirrups.]	[病院。レイチェルは試験台の上で股を広げて座っている。]
Nurse: Okay Rachel, are you comfortable?	看護婦：レイチェル。座り心地はどうですか？
Rachel: (sighs) If I said I was, would you judge me?	レイチェル：（ため息）　もし気持ちいいって言ったら、軽蔑しますか？
Nurse: The doctor will be here in a minute to do your sonogram.	看護婦：もうすぐ医者が来て、音響検査しますからね。
Rachel: Okay. (The nurse exits.) Oh man, I swear if they sold these at Pottery Barn…	レイチェル：はい。　（看護婦は出て行く）　うわぁ、ポタリーバーンでこれ売ってたら買うのになぁ…
(There's a knock on the door and Ross enters.)	ノック音のあとロスが入室。
Ross: Hi!	ロス：おっす！
Rachel: (shocked) Hi!	レイチェル：（ショック）　え？
Ross: Uh we-we need to talk.	ロス：ちょっと話が。
Rachel: Uh-uh-uh, right now? Because I've kinda got an el fresco situation going on over here.	レイチェル：え、い、今？　ちょっと今さわやかな空気が通ってるんだけど…
Ross: Please, please I want to apologize for the way I acted earlier today.	ロス：あぁ、今日、慌ててしまってすまなかった。
Rachel: Okay Ross that's fine, but can you please stand near my head?	レイチェル：ロス、わかったから、私の頭の方に立っててよ。
Ross: What? Oh yeah. (He moves next to her head.) I'm sorry. I mean I-I think I went a little crazy. I mean I was thinking about myself when I (Wanders towards Rachel's feet) really I should have been thinking about you Rach…	ロス：え？　あぁ、そうか。　（レイチェルの頭の横に行く）　ちょっと頭がおかしくなっちゃってね。ちょっと、その自分のことばっかり考えちゃって。　（レイチェルの足のほうへと歩いていく）　君のことをもっと考えるべきだった…
Rachel: Okay. Head Ross! Head Ross! Head Ross!	レイチェル：頭のほう来てロス！　頭のほう！
Ross: Right! Right! I just I want you to know that I'm going to be there through this whole thing, okay? Okay? The doctor's appointments, the uh, the Lamaze classes, uh baby-proofing the apartment? Although we could probably worry about that ‘til after we get married.	ロス：あ、そうだ、そうだった。僕は君のことをちゃんとサポートするよ。大丈夫だから。医者の予約、えーと、ラマーズクラス、ベイビープルーフ用品とかさ。あぁ、でもまずは結婚しないとな。 Lamaze class　ラマーズクラス。出産時に呼吸などで適切な精神状態を保つラマーズという方法を教えるクラス。 baby-proof　ベイビープルーフ。家具などに取り付ける赤ちゃんの安全を確保するための器具。

Ross: No, because that's the right thing to do.	ロス：違うよ。それが正しい選択だからだよ。
Rachel: Yeah, maybe if you're in love. But Ross, we are not in love, are we?	レイチェル：そうかもね。でもあなた私のこと愛してるの？　ロス？
Ross: No but…but still you can't possibly do this alone.	ロス：あぁ、でも…、君一人じゃ無理だろ。
Rachel: Excuse me?	レイチェル：何ですって？
Ross: Come on Rach, you can't even eat alone in a restaurant.	ロス：レイチェル、君は一人でレストランも行けないじゃないか。
Rachel: What?!	レイチェル：え？！
Ross: I'm just saying if you can't eat by yourself, how do you expect to have a baby by yourself?	ロス：一人でレストランで食べられないんじゃ、赤ちゃんを一人で育てられないだろ？
Rachel: I can too eat by myself!	レイチェル：私、一人で食べられるよ！
Ross: When have you ever?	ロス：いつそんなことした？
Rachel: When certain people leave the table and I am not finished!	レイチェル：誰かが帰っちゃって、私がまだ食べてるとき！
Ross: Well certain other people take two hours to eat a bowl of soup!	ロス：スープを飲むのに2時間もかかるんじゃ帰るよ！
Rachel: Oh please, you inhale your food!	レイチェル：あんた、飲み込むみたいに食べるからよ！
Ross: I grew up with Monica! If you didn't eat fast you didn't eat!!	ロス：僕はモニカと育ったんだ！　速く食べなきゃ、食べられないんだよ！！
Dr. Long: (entering) Am I interrupting?	ロング先生：（入室）　あ、お邪魔ですか？
Rachel: Oh no Dr. Long, please come in. This is Ross, he is the father.	レイチェル：大丈夫ですよ、ロング先生。こちらがロスです。彼が父親です。
Ross: But not the husband, because evidently she can do this alone.	ロス：でも夫じゃありませんよ。どうやら一人で全部出来るらしいですからね。
Dr. Long: Huh. Nice to meet you. I'll get started on this.	ロング先生：初めまして。さてはじめましょうか。
Ross: (To Rachel, standing by her feet) I don't know why you can't admit that you need me.	ロス：（レイチェルの足元に立ちながら、レイチェルに）　何で僕が必要だって認めないんだよ。
Rachel: I do need you! I need you to stand near my head!	レイチェル：あんたが必要だわ！　さっさと頭のほうに来てよ！
Dr. Long: Okay, everything looks good. Here it is on the screen. (We see Ross and Rachel looking at the screen.) Here is your uterus. And right here is your baby.	ロング先生：すべて順調ですね。テレビに映しますよ。　（ロスとレイチェルが画面を見る）　これがあなたの子宮です。で、これが赤ちゃん。
Ross: Oh my God.	ロス：うわぁ。
Rachel: Wow. There it is, I see it.	レイチェル：うん。これが赤ちゃんなのね。
Dr. Long: Congratulations. I'll give you two a minute.	ロング先生：おめでとうございます。しばらく2人にしますね。
Rachel: Okay.	レイチェル：はい。
Ross: Thank you.	ロス：どうも。
(Dr. Long exits and Rachel starts to cry.)	ロング先生は出て行き、レイチェルが泣き出す。
Ross: Pretty amazing huh?	ロス：すごいよね。
Rachel: I don't see it!	レイチェル：赤ちゃんどこ！？
Ross: What? What?!	ロス：え？　何言ってるんだよ？！
Rachel: I can't see it!	レイチェル：どこにいるかわからないの！
Ross: You-you just said that you did!	ロス：さっき見えたっていったじゃないか！
Rachel: I know, I lied! I didn't want her to think I was a terrible mother! I can't even see my own baby!	レイチェル：うそついたのよ！　自分の子供が見つけられないようなひどい母親だと思われたくなかったのよ！
Ross: Oh sure, come here! Sure you can! Uh, look come here look, (rolls the machine closer) it's-it's-it's, it's right there (Points).	ロス：大丈夫だって。見つかるって！　こっちに来て見てみなよ。　（機械を近づける）　ほら、ほら、これだって。　（指差す）
Rachel: Oh. Oh, it's beautiful. I see it now.	レイチェル：うん。美しいわね。やっと見つかったわ。
Ross: Do you really?	ロス：ほんとに？
Rachel: No, I don't see it!	レイチェル：見つからなーい！
Ross: Come on! Come on! Here, okay-okay, you see this? (Points) This tiny thing that looks like a peanut?	ロス：見てよ！　こっち、ほらほら、これ見える？　（指差す）　この小さいやつ、ピーナッツみたいなやつ。
Rachel: Yeah.	レイチェル：うん。
Ross: Sweetie that's it.	ロス：これだよ。
Rachel: That's it? Well I saw that! Ohh-ohh-oh, thank you.	レイチェル：これが？　これならさっきから見えてたわ。キレイね…、ありがと。
Ross: You're welcome.	ロス：どういたしまして。
Rachel: Wow! I can't believe that's our baby.	レイチェル：うわぁ、これが私たちの赤ちゃんなのね。
Ross: Yeah, that's our baby.	ロス：うん。僕らの赤ちゃんだ。

(She does so.)	写真を見せる

Joey: I don't see the baby. Where is it?	ジョーイ：どこに赤ちゃんいるの？
Rachel: Oh no, I know I couldn't see it either at first, but it's right umm… (Starts to cry) Ross, I lost it again.	レイチェル：私も最初はわからなかったのよ。でもほらそこに…　（泣き出す）　ロス、また見失った。
Ross: Oh. (He takes the picture and hugs her.)	ロス：はいはい。　（写真を取り、レイチェルをハグ）
