[Scene: Rachel’s Hospital Room, Ross is sitting next to Rachel.]	[レイチェルの病室。ロスがレイチェルの横に座っている。]
Ross: You said you’d marry Joey?	ロス：君はジョーイと結婚するって言ったのか？

Rachel: Well? Really? I thought Chandler was your best friend.	レイチェル：え？　ほんと？　私、チャンドラーが一番の親友なのかと思ってた。

Ross: Rachel said she’d marry you?!	ロス：レイチェルはOKしたのか？！
Joey: (He looks around the room) This isn’t the right room, sorry folks. (leaves)	ジョーイ：（部屋を見回す。）　あ、部屋間違えました。お邪魔して申し訳ない。（帰っていく。）

Phoebe: No they ran out of "It’s a girl" but I can fix this one, (She writes "not" in between it’s and a) See?	フィービー："女の子だ!"が売り切れだったのよ。でもこうすれば大丈夫よ。　（"男の子じゃないぞ!"に修正。）　ほらね。
Monica: (looking at Chandler sleeping with a balloon in his mouth) So sexy. (Waking him up.) Honey.	モニカ：（チャンドラーが風船を口にくわえながら寝ているのを見ながら）　セクシーねぇ。　（チャンドラーをおこす。）　ハニー。

Joey: Why’re you so tired?	ジョーイ：何でそんなに疲れてるんだ？
Chandler: Couldn’t sleep last night you know, then I started worrying about this big divisional meeting that I have later today, the more I worried about it the more I couldn’t sleep. Y’know? I was like, if I fall asleep now I’ll get six hours sleep, but if I fall asleep now I’ll get five hours sleep. Not matter what I did I couldn’t fall asleep.	チャンドラー：昨日寝れなかったんだよ。今日の部署間で大きな会議のことが心配になっちゃってさ。どんどん心配になってきて、ますます眠れなくなっちゃった。今度は"今、眠れば、６時間寝れるぞ"、"今、眠れば、５時間寝れるぞ"って考えちゃって。何をしても寝れなかったんだ。

Monica: Phoebe did the signs!	モニカ：ボードはフィービーが買ったのよ。
Rachel: Oh you guys thanks for doing this.	レイチェル：素敵なプレゼントありがとう。
Phoebe: Look at all the stuff people sent!	フィービー：みんなが送ったプレゼント見てよ！
Rachel: Oh Ah! (Sees a big stuffed gorilla) Oh my gosh there’s something every mother needs, a giant stuffed gorilla that takes up the entire apartment! What are people think… (Reads the card) Oh you guys I love it.	レイチェル：あらら！　（巨大なゴリラの人形を発見。）　母親はみんなこれ必要よねぇ、アパートのスペース全体をとっちゃうほど巨大なゴリラの人形よ。いったいこの人何を考えているのかしら…　（差出人のカードを読む。）　みんなぁ、これ大好き。
Joey: Hey so where’s Ross?	ジョーイ：ねぇ、ロスはどこ？
Rachel: He’s downstairs getting the rest of the stuff out of the cab.	レイチェル：下で、タクシーから残りの荷物降ろしてるわ。
Joey: Is he still mad at us?	ジョーイ：あいつまだ俺たちのこと怒ってる？
Rachel: Well, you more than me, but he can’t stay to mad at me. I mean, I just had his baby.	レイチェル：そうね。特にあんたのこと怒ってるみたい。私は赤ちゃんを産んだばかりだからね。
Joey: That’s not fair! I can’t do that.	ジョーイ：不公平だよ！　俺、赤ちゃん産めないよ！
Rachel: Yeah, I’m not so sure you should be here when he comes up.	レイチェル：そうね。ロスがもうすぐ来るから、帰ったほうがいいかも。
Joey: See this is what I was afraid of, I didn’t think I should be here either but somebody (Looks at Chandler) said he’d be over it by now.	ジョーイ：恐れてたことけど、やっぱこうなるのか。俺もそう思ったんだが、誰かさんが　（チャンドラーを見る）　ロスはもう忘れているって言ったんだよなぁ。
Chandler: Hey, what do I know? I wanted to get a bigger gorilla.	チャンドラー：俺がそんなことわかるはずないだろ。俺はただもっとでかいゴリラを買いたかっただけだ。
[Scene: A Boardroom, Chandler keeps drifting off to sleep at his meeting.]	[会議室。チャンドラー会議でうたた寝している。]
Ms. McKenna: The numbers we are seeing New York, Chicago, and London are consistently solid, but many of our officers have reported disappointing yields.	マッキーナ：ニューヨーク、シカゴ、ロンドンは安定してますが、他の支店の多くの収益がかんばしくありません。
(Chandler drifts off and his arm slips off the table and he wakes back up.)	チャンドラーはうたた寝しており、腕がテーブルから落ちてしまい、目覚める。

Phoebe: Wow you guys got a hospital? Fancy!	フィービー：あら、病院持ってるの？　リッチねぇ！
Ross: No I left the diapers at the hospital! There’s some in the bag but I’ll run out and get some more.	ロス：違うよ、病院におしめ忘れてきたんだよ！　まだ袋のなかに少し残ってるけど、外に行って買ってくるよ。
Rachel: Alright thanks, oh Ross could you stop by the coffee house and get me a muffin?	レイチェル：ありがと。あ、ロス、喫茶店に言ってマフィン買ってきてくれない？
Ross: Sure what kind?	ロス：種類は？
Rachel: Umm let me think...What do I want, what d-o I w-a-n-t...	レイチェル：あー、そうねぇ…、何がいいかしら、何が、い・い・か・し・ら…。
Ross: Please take your time, it’s an important decision. Not like, say, I know! deciding to marry someone, this is about a muffin.	ロス：じっくり考えてくれよ。これは重大な決断だ。そうねぇ、誰と結婚するかを決断するのとは違うんだ。これはマフィンについてなんだ。
Rachel: Blueberry.	レイチェル：ブルベリー。

Monica: Wow, he’s really not letting this go, is he?	モニカ：うわぁ、兄さんもしつこいわねぇ。
Rachel: God how long do you think that’s gonna last?	レイチェル：いつになったら忘れると思う？
Phoebe: I dunno, well he got over the "We were on a break" thing really quickly.	フィービー：わかんない。でも、"別れたあと"事件はほんとにすぐに忘れたのにね。 dunno　don't knowの略
Rachel: Y’know I can’t even worry about that right now, cause I got the cutie little baby, oh I can’t believe how much I love her, I can’t get enough of her, like right now I miss her. I actually miss her.	レイチェル：まぁ、今はそんなこと心配しなくていいわ、だって私にはこんなかわいい赤ちゃんがいるんだもん。ほんとに大好き。いくら見ても物足りないわ。今もなんかさびしいわ。ほんとにさびしいわ。

Rachel: Well I can do whatever I want! I made her! (Waking Emma up.) Come on little girl, hi!	レイチェル：私が何したっていいでしょ！　私が産んだのよ！　（エマをおこす。）　私の女の子、こんにちは！
(Emma starts crying)	エマが泣き出す。
Phoebe: I can say I told you so but she’s kinda doing that for me.	フィービー：言ったでしょっていいたいけど、エマが代弁してくれてるみたい。

(Emma continues crying in the background)	エマは泣き続ける。
Monica: Breaks your heart doesn’t it	モニカ：辛いわよね。
Phoebe: It really does… how long do you think we have to stay?	フィービー：ほんと…。いつまでここにいりゃいいんだろ？
[Scene: A Boardroom, Chandler’s meeting continues.]	[会議室。チャンドラーの会議は続く。]
Ms. McKenna: Ok if everyone’s on board, it’s settled, Chandler, (Walter puts his hand on Chandlers hand, Chandler sleeping puts his hand on top of his, he then wakes up and pulls his hand away) Chandler?	マッキーナ：では、皆さんが同意するのなら、解決ですね。チャンドラー？　（ウォルターはチャンドラーの手にに自分の手を置く。チャンドラーは寝ており、さらにその上に手を重ねる。チャンドラーは眠りを覚まし、手をどける。）　チャンドラー？
Chandler: Yep.	チャンドラー：はい。
Ms. McKenna: Are you on board?	マッキーナ：賛成ですか？
Chandler: (not knowing what he’s saying yes to) Yes.	チャンドラー：（何を聞かれているのかわからない）　はい。
Ms. McKenna: Then, problem solved. Chandler will be running our office in Tulsa. You’re gonna love Oklahoma.	マッキーナ：では問題解決ですね。チャンドラーがタルサ支店の運営をします。オクラホマはいいとこですよ。 Tulsa　タルサ。オクラホマ州で2番目に大きい都市。
(Chandler smiles and nods then realizes what he’s agreed to.)	チャンドラーはにっこりして、うなずくが、何がおきたか気づく。
[Scene: Ross and Rachel’s, Emma continues crying while Rachel, Monica and Phoebe try different methods to stop her crying.]	[ロスとレイチェルのアパート。レイチェル、モニカ、フィービーはいろいろと試してみるが、エマは泣き止まない。]
Phoebe: Well, alright, we already tried feeding her, changing her, burping her, oh try this one! Go back in time and listen to Phoebe!	フィービー：えーと、もう食事は与えたし、着替えもさせた、ゲップもさせた、あ、これやってみな！　過去に言ってフィービーの話を聞け！
Monica: Alright here’s something, it says to try holding the baby close to your body and then swing her rapidly from side to side.	モニカ：あ、これはどうかな。自分の体に抱き寄せて、素早く左右に振る。
Rachel: Ok. (Starts swinging Emma rapidly and she stops crying)	レイチェル：わかったわ。　（エマを素早く左右に振るとエマは泣き止む。）
Monica: It worked!	モニカ：泣き止んだ！
Rachel: Oh (happy) oh no just stopped to throw up a little bit. (Emma starts crying again.) Oh come on, what am I gonna do, its been hours and it won’t stop crying.	レイチェル：やった　（幸せそう）　あ、ただ吐いただけだ。　（エマはまた泣き出す。）　あー、どうしよう。もう何時間も泣いてるわ。これ、いつになったら泣き止むの？

[Scene: Central Perk, Ross is getting Rachel’s muffin.]	[セントラルパーク。ロスはレイチェルのマフィンを買いにくる。]
Ross: Hey Gunther, can I get a couple of blueberry muffins to go? (He puts a bag with diapers in it on the counter.)	ロス：おっす、ガンター。ブルーベリーマフィンを2つ、持ち帰りで。　（おしめが入っている袋をカウンターの上に置く。）
Gunther: Diapers huh?	ガンター：おしめだね？
Ross: Yep.	ロス：そうだよ。
Gunther: So I guess Rachel had you baby?	ガンター：ってことはレイチェルがお前の赤ちゃんを産んだんだ。
Ross: Yep, can you believe it?	ロス：そうだよ。信じられる？
Gunther: Nope! I still can’t believe she slept with you in the first place.	ガンター：いや！　そもそも、レイチェルが何でお前と寝たのが信じられないよ。
Ross: Huh? Ooh (laughs) you mean like a… Huh?	ロス：え？　あー　（笑う）　あのことね…　え？
Joey: (entering) Hey. (Ross turns to see who it is, and seeing it’s Joey he just ignores him and turns back around.) Ross, I know you’re pissed at me, but we have to talk about this.	ジョーイ：（入店）　やぁ。　（ロスは振り返ってジョーイを確認すると無視してまた正面を向く。）　ロス、俺にむかついているのは知ってるけどさ、話をしようよ。
Ross: Ah actually we don’t. (Ross walks off)	ロス：いーや、しないよ。　（ロスは帰ろうとする。）
Joey: Fine, fine okay. But I gotta say technically, I didn’t even do anything wrong.	ジョーイ：わかった、わかったよ。でもひとつ言っとくけど、厳密には俺は何も悪いことしてないぞ！
Ross: (turns back) What! (Angrily) You didn’t do anything wrong?!	ロス：（振り返る）　何！　（怒っている）　何も悪いことしてない？！
Joey: I said I didn’t technically.	ジョーイ：厳密にはって言ったんだ。
Ross: Okay let’s put aside that you (Makes quote marks with his fingers.) "accidentally" picked up my grandmothers ring and you (Does it again) "accidentally" proposed to Rachel.	ロス：そうか、じゃあ、お前が　（指で"　"マークを作る。）　"偶然にも"僕のおばあちゃんの指輪を拾って、お前が　（またマークを作る。）　"偶然にも"レイチェルにプロポーズしたのは忘れるか。 "　"　誰かの言葉などを引用するときなどに使う。

Ross: And I can even understand that you couldn’t tell Rachel, but why couldn’t you tell me, huh? You had all day to and you didn’t.	ロス：レイチェルに言えなかったことさえ信じられないけど、何で僕にいえなかったんだよ。1日中一緒にいたのに言わなかった。
Joey: I know I should’ve. (Makes quote marks again.) "I’m sorry."	ジョーイ：言うべきだったよ。　（"　"マークを作る。）　"ごめんなさい。"

Ross: Give me the bag.	ロス：その袋をよこせ。
Joey: No, look, I don’t know what else to do. I said I’m sorry!	ジョーイ：なんていったらいいかわからいけど、ゴメンっていったんだよ。

Joey: You should scream at me, or-or-or curse me, or hit me.	ジョーイ：俺に叫ぶか、もしくは…、俺を呪うか、俺を殴れ。
Ross: I’m not gonna hit you.	ロス：僕は殴らないよ。

(Ross throws a punch, but Joey ducks and Ross punches the pole. Ross then screams from the pain and turns to Gunther, and Gunther has a huge smile on his face.)	ロスは殴ろうとするが、ジョーイはよける。そのためロスは柱を殴ってしまう。ロスは痛みのあまり叫んでしまう。ガンターの方へ振り向くと、ガンターはうれしそうににっこりしてる。
Ross: You ducked!!	ロス：よけやがったな！！
Joey: I’m sorry! It was a reflex!	ジョーイ：ごめんよ！　無条件反射だよ！
Ross: Oh my god, this really hurts!!!	ロス：痛ってぇ！　ほんとに痛い！！！
Joey: I couldn’t help it! When a fist comes at your face, you duck! Look! (He goes to punch Ross, expecting him to duck, but he doesn’t and Joey punches Ross. Gunther is amused.)	ジョーイ：俺のせいじゃないよ！　顔にこぶしが近づいたら、よけちゃうよ！　いくぞ！　（ロスはよけるだろうと思ってジョーイはロスをなぐるが、ロスはまったくよけずにジョーイはロスを思いっきりなぐってしまう。ガンターはさらにうれしそう。）
Ross: What is the matter with you?!?	ロス：なんてやろーだ？！？
Joey: You were supposed to duck!!! Why didn’t you duck?	ジョーイ：よけろよ！！！　何でよけないんだよ？
Ross: Why don’t we talk about this on the way to the hospital?	ロス：話は病院に行く途中で！
Joey: Good, good yeah, (Grabs the bags) maybe while we’re there, they can check your reflexes. (Joey opens the door and it hits Ross in the face with it.) (Makes quote marks.) "Oops."	ジョーイ：わかった。（袋を持つ。）　病院でお前の反射神経も調べてもらおう。　（ジョーイはドアを開けるが、ドアがロスの顔にぶつかる。）　（"　"マークを作る。）　"おっと。"

Monica: I know, that’s why I said again!	モニカ：知ってるわよ。だからまたって言ったの！
Phoebe: Alright you guys, we can’t turn on each other, Okay? That’s just what she wants.	フィービー：2人とも。2人で言い合ってもしょうがないわよ。エマが喜ぶだけよ。
Chandler: (enters) Hey.	チャンドラー：（入室）　おっす。

Chandler: Monica can I talk to you outside for a minute?	チャンドラー：モニカ、外でちょっと話が。
Rachel: Oh no, you guys, just stay here, I’m gonna go check her diaper, Pheebs you wanna come?	レイチェル：あ、そこでいいわよ。私、エマのおしめチェックしなきゃ、フィービー一緒にきて。
Phoebe: Oh I’m kinda part of this.	フィービー：あー、私もこの話聞きたい。

Phoebe: I knew I should have married Chandler.	フィービー：やっぱ、チャンドラーと結婚すればよかった。
(Phoebe and Rachel go to the back room and Emma continues to cry in the background while Chandler and Monica talk.)	フィービーとレイチェルが他の部屋に行く、エマは相変わらず泣き続け、チャンドラーとモニカの会話中にも泣き声が聞こえる。
Monica: Okay what’s up	モニカ：で、どうしたの？
Chandler: Umm, you know how we always said that it would be fun to move to Paris for a year? You know, you could study French cooking and I could write and we could take a picnic along the Seine and go wine tasting in Bordeaux?	チャンドラー：いつも1年ぐらいパリに暮らしたら楽しいだろうって言ってるよね。君はフランス料理を勉強して、俺は本を書く。セーヌ川の横でピクニックして、ボルドーにワインの試飲にいったりさ。 Bordeaux　ボルドー。仏南西部の地方の都市。ワインで有名。
Monica: Oh yeah (smiles).	モニカ：いいわね。（にっこり）
Chandler: Okay, you know how that people say that Tulsa is the Paris of Oklahoma?	チャンドラー：ね。タルサってオクラホマのパリって言われてるよね。
Monica: What? Who says that?	モニカ：え？　誰がそんなこと言うの？
Chandler: People who’ve never ever been to Paris.	チャンドラー：まだパリに行ったことない人たち。
Monica: What’s going on?	モニカ：いったいどうしたの？
Chandler: We’re moving to Tulsa! (Makes a excited expression on his face)	チャンドラー：タルサへ引越しだよ！　（興奮した表情。）
Monica: Excuse me?	モニカ：はい？
Chandler: Okay, Ms. McKenna, she kind of works above my boss, she asked me to move to Tulsa and be the president of our office there, and I was sleeping and apparently, said yes.	チャンドラー：マッキーナさん、俺の上司なんだけど、タルサ支店の社長をやってほしいって言うんだよ。俺は寝てて、知らないけどOKしちゃったらしいんだよ。
Monica: (stands up angry) Tulsa, Oklahoma!	モニカ：（怒って立ち上がる）　オクラホマ州、タルサ！
Chandler: The Sooner State, whatever that is.	チャンドラー：早いもの勝ちの州だよ。なんだかよくわからないけど。 Sooner State　オクラホマ州の愛称。この土地に早く来たものから順に土地を与えたという歴史からきているそうです。
Monica: Chandler, I don’t even wanna see the musical Oklahoma!	モニカ：チャンドラー、私はミュージカル・オクラホマすら見たくないわ！
Chandler: Really? Oh What A Beautiful Morning! Surrey With A Fringe On Top.	チャンドラー：ほんと？　あぁなんてすばらしい朝なんだ！　屋根に縞模様つきのサリー馬車。
Monica: Are you trying to tell me that we’re moving to Oklahoma, or that you’re gay? All right, not that this matters, but did they at least offer you a huge raise?	モニカ：オクラホマに引っ越すっていいたいの？　それともあんたはゲイだって言いたいの？　ところで、オクラホマ行くんだから、昇給あるんじゃないの？
Chandler: No, no, but they are going to lease us a Ford Focus. (Monica’s not impressed.) I’ll get out of it.	チャンドラー：な、ないよ。でもフォードのフォーカス貸してくれるって。　（モニカは全然興味ない。）　断ってくる。
Monica: Thank you.	モニカ：ありがと。
Chandler: (hears Emma crying) What is wrong with Emma?	チャンドラー：（エマの泣き声が聞こえる）　エマどうしたの？
Monica: Oh she misunderstood, she thought she was moving to Tulsa.	モニカ：あー、誤解してるのよ。自分がタルサいかなきゃいけないと思ったのよ。
[Scene: Ms. McKenna’s Office, Chandler enters.]	[マッキーナのオフィス。チャンドラーが入室。]
Chandler: Umm ma’am, do you have a minute? (She points for him to come in) I kind of have some bad news. I don’t think I can move to Tulsa.	チャンドラー：あ、失礼します。ちょっといいですか？　（マッキーナは入れという合図をする。）　あの悪い知らせなんですけど。タルサには引っ越せません。
Ms. McKenna: What?	マッキーナ：何？
Chandler: It’s a funny story, actually. (coughs) I kind of fell asleep in the meeting this morning so when I said I’d move to Tulsa, I didn’t really know what I was saying.	チャンドラー：あ、ちょっと笑っちゃう話でしてね。　（咳払い）　今朝の会議でちょっと眠ってしまいまして。だから、タルサに行くっていったとき、自分で、何を言ってるのかさっぱり分からなかったんですよ。
Ms. McKenna: You fell asleep?	マッキーナ：会議中に眠った？
Chandler: But only because I was up all night worried about this meeting, ain’t that funny? Irony? Not a fan, alright (he sits down). See, here’s the thing. I went home and told my wife about Tulsa and she won’t go. See, me, I love Tulsa! Tulsa is heaven! Tulsa is Italy? Please don’t make me go there!	チャンドラー：あ、でも会議を心配するあまり寝れなかったのが原因なんですよ。面白いですよね？　皮肉？　楽しくない？　そうですね。　（座る。）　じゃあ率直に言います。家に帰ってタルサのこと妻に言ってきたんですが、行かないっていうんですよ。僕、僕自身はタルサ大好きなんですよ！　タルサは楽園です！　タルサってイタリアでしたっけ？　お願いですから、転勤させないでください！
Ms. McKenna: Chandler, I…	マッキーナ：チャンドラー、あのねぇ…。
Chandler: No no no! Look, Carol, can I call you Carol? (Pause) Wh-why would I when your name is Elaine? Oh what a great picture of your son, strapping! (She glares at him.) That’s a picture of your daughter, isn’t it, well she’s lovely. I like a girl with a strong jaw. I’ll call you from Tulsa. (Exits.)	チャンドラー：いや、いや、聞いてくださいよ。キャロル。キャロルって呼んでもいいですか？　（間）　いいわけないですよね、あなたの名前はエリンですよね。あ、あなたの息子さんの写真ですね、がっちりして背が高くてかっこいいですね。　（チャンドラーをにらむ。）　これ娘さんの写真ですよね。かわいらしいですね。強いあごの女の子って好きですよ。タルサから連絡します。　（退室。）
[Scene: The Hospital, Joey is sitting in the lobby as Ross enters.]	[病院。ジョーイがロビーで座っている。ロスが登場。]
Joey: Hey, so how is it?	ジョーイ：お、どうだった？
Ross: I broke my thumb.	ロス：親指を骨折した。
Joey: Your thumb? That’s weird. (Makes a fist.) You sure you’re punching right? Make a fist. (Ross just looks at him with his thumb in a cast.) Maybe later. Ross I feel terrible.	ジョーイ：親指？　そりゃ変だな。　（握りこぶしを作る。）　ちゃんと俺を殴ろうとしたのか？　こぶし作ってみ。　（親指がギプスで固定されている状態でロスはジョーイをにらむ。）
Ross: You know what, you can go, I just have to fill out some forms. (Tries to hold the pen but can’t)	ロス：もう帰っていいよ。あとはこの用紙に記入すればいいだけだから。　（ペンを握ろうとするが、握れない。）
Joey: You, you want me to help you with that?	ジョーイ：あ、代わりに書こうか？
Ross: Why, does it look like I’m having trouble with my misshapen claw? (He hands Joey the form)	ロス：え？　この変形した爪じゃかけないと思うか？　（ジョーイに用紙を渡す。）
Joey: Name? (Ross looks at him.) I know Ross but what’s it short for? You know like, like Rossel or Rosstepher.	ジョーイ：名前は？　（ロスはジョーイをにらむ。）　ロスってのは知ってるけど、何の略？　ほら、ロスセルとかロストファーとか。
Ross: Just Ross!	ロス：ただのロスだよ！
Joey: It’s pretty, Okay date of birth?	ジョーイ：かわいいね。誕生日は？
Ross: You know my birthday.	ロス：僕の誕生日は知ってるだろ？
Joey: Sure, May...tember.	ジョーイ：もちろん、ごー、じゅうー…。
Ross: October 18th.	ロス：10月18日。
Joey: Occupation? Dinosaurs.	ジョーイ：お仕事は？　恐竜ね。
Ross: Actually I’m a palian… Dinosaurs is fine… the drawing is not.	ロス：あ、仕事は古生物…、恐竜でいいよ…。スペルが違うけど。
Joey: Alright, who do you want as your emergency contact?	ジョーイ：緊急連絡先は？
Ross: Ah, Rachel I guess.	ロス：レイチェルかな。
Joey: Okay, relationship, boy this could take a while.	ジョーイ：その人との関係は？　こりゃ説明に時間がかかるな。
Ross: Just ah… just put roommate.	ロス：そうね…、ルームメイト。
Joey: Come on, you guys are more then that! I mean, you’re gonna get together right?	ジョーイ：かたく考えるなよ。お前たちそれ以上の関係だって！　そのうち一緒になるんだろ？
Ross: I don’t think that we are.	ロス：そうは思わないよ。
Joey: But you two were supposed to be together.	ジョーイ：でもお前たちは一緒になる運命だよ。
Ross: Well, I thought so too, but then she said she’d marry you.	ロス：あぁ、僕もそう思ったよ。でもあいつはお前と結婚するって言った。
Joey: Come on, Ross, that didn’t mean anything! She just had the baby, she was all freaked out about doing it alone, she would have said yes to anybody.	ジョーイ：おい、おい、ロス。あんなの何の意味もないって！　赤ちゃん産んだばっかりで、一人で育てることに自信がなかったんだよ。誰にでもOKしてたって。
Ross: Yeah that’s what she said.	ロス：あぁ、あいつもそう言ってたよ。
Joey: So?	ジョーイ：だから？
Ross: So I don’t wanna be just anybody.	ロス：僕はそんな"誰でも"いい人と結婚したくない。
Joey: Wow.	ジョーイ：そうか。
Ross: You know what, it’s, it’s better this way anyway. I mean I don’t know what I was thinking, going down that road again with us. It’s just much easier if we’re just friends who have a kid.	ロス：まぁ、とにかく、この方がいいんだよ。自分で何を考えてたのか分からないよ、また同じ道を歩かなきゃいけないなんて。子供がいるただの友達でいるほうがずっと楽なんだよ。
Joey: Really?	ジョーイ：そうか？
Ross: Yeah.	ロス：そうだよ。
Joey: And you’re Okay with that?	ジョーイ：お前はそれでいいのか？
Ross: Yes. I mean, it’s what we always planned. And if you have a plan, you should stick to it. That’s why they call them plans. Hello? (Pause) I’m fine.	ロス：あぁ。元々、そういう予定だったんだ。予定があるんならそれに従うべきだろ。だから、予定って呼ばれるんだろ？
Joey: Hey, for what it’s worth, with Rachel I don’t think you’ll ever be just (Makes quote marks.) "anybody."	ジョーイ：あのさ、一応、言っておくけどさ。レイチェルはほんとは　（"　"マークを作る。）　"誰でも"いいなんて思ってないはずだぜ。
Ross: Hey there you go! (Smiles because Joey used it correctly)	ロス：お、やっと分かったみたいだね！　（ジョーイが正しい使い方をしたのでスマイル。）
Joey: (makes quote marks) "Thanks."	ジョーイ：（"　"マークを作る。）　"ありがと"。
(Ross looks away, not bothering)	ロスは違う方向をみて、気にしないふりをする。
[Scene: Ross and Rachel’s, Emma continues to cry.]	[ロスとレイチェルのアパート。エマは相変わらず泣いている。]
Rachel: Oh my God! How long has she been crying?	レイチェル：もういや！　もうどんぐらい泣いてるの？
Monica: About a week and a half.	モニカ：約一週間半。
Phoebe: Well alright, looks like you guys have got it under control so I’m just gonna go. (She gets up and Rachel looks at her, upset, and Monica just stares.) No! Really? Misery really does love company. All right! (She sits back down.)	フィービー：さぁてと、2人で大丈夫そうだし、私は帰るわね。　（フィービーが立ち上がると、レイチェルはフィービーをにらみ、怒っている、モニカはただにらんでいる。）　だめ？　みすぼらしい仲間に入らなきゃだめ？　わかったわよ！　（再び座る。）
Monica: Rach, try holding her a different way.	モニカ：レイチェル、エマを違うふうに抱いてみたら。
Rachel: You guys, I’m doing the best I can, anyone else is welcome to try.	レイチェル：もうできるだけのことやってるの、試したい人は大歓迎よ。
Phoebe: Alright, I’ll try, fine! Yes, Okay!	フィービー：よーし、私がやるわ！　よーし！
Rachel: Here you go. (Hands Emma to Phoebe)	レイチェル：どうぞ。　（エマを渡す。）
Phoebe: Shh! Nothing works with this child! (Hands her back.)	フィービー：どうどう。だめだわ、この子には何も効かないわ！　（エマを返す。）
Rachel: Oh god what am I gonna do you guys, I can’t even comfort my own baby! I’m the worst mother ever!	レイチェル：もうどうしよう、自分の赤ちゃんをなだめられないなんて！　私って最悪の母親だわ！
Monica: You’re just new at this, it’ll get better, think about your first day at work. I mean, that couldn’t have been easy but you figured that out.	モニカ：まだ慣れてないだけよ、きっとうまくなるわ。仕事の最初の日を考えてみなよ。そりゃ大変だったはずよ。
Rachel: Yeah I don’t think dressing provocatively is going to help me here! Oh my god just please take her.	レイチェル：ここで、エッチな服着ることが役に立つとは思えないわ！　もう、ちょっとかわって。
Monica: Okay I’ll take her, here. (Takes Emma)	モニカ：私が代わるわ。　（エマを受け取る。）
Rachel: I have to go to the bathroom. (Goes to the bathroom)	レイチェル：トイレ行かなきゃ。　（トイレに行く。）
Phoebe: I have to go scream into a pillow. (Goes to scream into a pillow)	フィービー：私も枕に向かってさけばなきゃ。　（枕に叫びに行く。）
Monica: (To Emma) Bouncy baby, Bouncy baby, Ooh baby baby, Ooh baby baby, Ooh baby baby. (Emma stops crying and falls asleep)	モニカ：（エマに）　ゆらゆら、ゆらゆら、オー、ベイビー、ベイビー、オー、ベイビー、ベイビー。　（エマが泣き止み、眠る。）
Phoebe: (entering) Have I gone deaf?	フィービー：（入室）　私、耳が聞こえなくなっちゃったの？
Monica: It worked! Ooh baby baby baby, ooh baby baby baby!	モニカ：やったわ！　オー、ベイビー、ベイビー、ベイビー、オー、ベイビー、ベイビー、ベイビー！
Phoebe: You must be a fireball in bed.	フィービー：あなたベットじゃ情熱家ね。
Monica: I can’t believe it! She’s asleep! I got her to go to sleep! I have actual magical powers!	モニカ：信じられない！　もう寝ちゃった！　私が眠らせたのよ！　私って魔法の力があるわ！
Phoebe: I can hear traffic and birds! I can hear the voices in my head again! (Monica looks at her strangely) I’m kidding. (She smiles wickedly.)	フィービー：また車や鳥の音が聞こえるようになった！　また、あの声が頭の中で聞こえるわ！　（モニカは変なやつとフィービーを見る。）　冗談よ。　（不気味に笑う。）
Rachel: Oh my God! You got her to stop crying!	レイチェル：すごーい！　泣き止ましたのね！
Monica: Yes I did, I’m Monica, Super Aunt.	モニカ：やったわよ。私はモニカ、スーパーおばさん。
Rachel: You are the official baby crier stopper!	レイチェル：あなたはプロの赤ん坊泣き止め屋ね。
Monica: Yes I am!!	モニカ：その通り！！
Rachel: You’re never leaving the apartment!	レイチェル：もうここから帰らないで！
Monica: Say what?	モニカ：何だって？
Rachel: That’s your new job, day and night, she starts crying I need you here.	レイチェル：それがあなたの仕事よ、昼も夜も、エマが泣き出したらすぐにきてね。
Monica: (stands up to hand Emma back) Oh no no no no!	モニカ：（立ち上がって、エマを返す。）　え、だめだめだめだめ！
Phoebe: Thankfully you don’t need me at all (gets up and to leave) so Okay Super aunt see you later! Rachel let’s give it six to eight months (she leaves).	フィービー：やった、私なんかもう必要ないのね。　（帰るために立ち上がる。）　じゃ、スーパーおばさんまたあとで！　レイチェル6, 8ヶ月は頑張りましょう。　（帰る。）
Rachel: Okay so listen I’m gonna go lay down.	レイチェル：じゃ、私は寝るわね。
Monica: What?	モニカ：はい？
Rachel: You know the book says that whenever she’s sleeping I should be sleeping so… (She gives Monica thumbs and goes to lay down)	レイチェル：この本に書いてあるのよ、エマが寝てるときは私も寝なきゃいけないって…。　（モニカにグットマークを送って、寝に行く。）
Chandler: (entering, loudly) Hey!	チャンドラー：（うるさく入ってくる）　よぉ！
Monica: Shhh! We just got her to go to sleep.	モニカ：しー！　今、寝かしつけたとこなんだから。
Chandler: Oh so there can’t be any yelling.	チャンドラー：あ、じゃあどなっちゃだめなんだね。
Monica: No.	モニカ：だめ。
Chandler: We’re moving to Tulsa	チャンドラー：タルサに引越しだ。
Monica: (loudly) What!?	モニカ：（でかい声で）　何！？
Chandler: Shhhh! Shhhhh! Shhhhh! Shhhhh! (Walks backwards towards the door) I can’t, I can’t hear you. (He runs out)	チャンドラー：しー！　しー！　しー！　しー！　（ドアに向かって後ろずさりする。）　え、聞こえない。　（逃げ出す。）
[Scene: Ross and Rachel’s, Ross enters.]	[ロスとレイチェルのアパート。ロスが入室。]
Ross: Hey.	ロス：ただいま。
Rachel: Heeeeey, where have you been? (He shows her his thumb) What happened to you?	レイチェル：おかえりぃ～。どこ行ってたの？　（ロスは親指を見せる。）　どうしたの？
Ross: Ah I had a little thing with Joey, if you think this is bad you should see him.	ロス：ジョーイとちょっとあってね。もし、この傷が深刻だと思うんなら、あいつを見てみな。
Rachel: Oh no Ross! This is not good, we have to talk about this Joey thing. Please sit. (He sits) You have got to get over this Joey thing, okay? I never really wanted to marry Joey, okay?	レイチェル：だめよ、ロス！　ジョーイのこと話し合わなきゃ。座って。　（座る。）　ジョーイの件は忘れなきゃだめよ。ジョーイと結婚したかったわけじゃないのよ。
Ross: Okay.	ロス：分かったよ。
Rachel: You know what I really really want?	レイチェル：ほんとは私が何したいかわかる？
Ross: What, Rach?	ロス：何、レイチェル？
Rachel: I wanna sleep, I wanna eat, I wanna take a shower, I mean before she wakes up and we gotta do this all over again.	レイチェル：寝たいわ、何か食べたいわ、シャワー浴びたいわ。エマがおきたら、またいろいろとやらなきゃいけないもん。
Ross: (smiles) Right.	ロス：（笑って）　うん。
Rachel: I mean I got news for you mister, Emma? Not easy.	レイチェル：もう困っちゃうわよ。エマね、大変よ。
Ross: Well, that’s what I’m here for. (Emma starts crying again) Want me to get that?	ロス：うん。だから僕がここにいるんだ。　（エマがまた泣き出す。）　僕が行こうか？
Rachel: No its really okay… Monica!	レイチェル：あ、それは大丈夫…、モニカ！
Monica: (comes running out the kitchen to the bedroom) Got it! Got it! Got it! Got it! Got it! Got it!	モニカ：（キッチンから寝室へと走っていく。）　了解！　了解！　了解！　了解！　了解！　了解！

[Scene: Central Perk, Joey and Ross are sitting at one of the high tables.]	[セントラルパーク。ジョーイとロスが高いテーブルに座っている。]
Joey: You know, ah, I’ve been thinking about this and I gotta tell ya, it’s not my fault. It’s a natural instinct.	ジョーイ：あのさ、ちょっと思ってたんだけどさ、あれ俺のせいじゃないよ。本能ってやつだよ。
Chandler: (enters) Hey, what you guys talking about?	チャンドラー：（入店）　おっす。何話してたの？
Joey: Hey OK great, what would you do if I did this? (Swings to punch Chandler, he moves and he ends up punching Ross, knocking him off the stool. Ross then gets up and just stares at Joey.)	ジョーイ：よし、なぁ、もし俺がこうしたらどうする？　（チャンドラーにパンチしようとする。チャンドラーがよけたので、横にいたロスに思いっきりヒット。ロスはいすから落ちて、その場に倒れてしまう。ロスは立ち上がり、ジョーイをにらむ。） stool　丸イス
