Monica: I can't believe she's gonna say yes to David. She's clearly in love with Mike.	モニカ：これからフィービーがデイビットに"Yes"っていうなんて信じられない。マイクのことを愛してるのは明らかなのに。
Chandler: You know, it's very hard to take you seriously when you look like that.	チャンドラー：何かそんな髪型で言われても真剣味がないんだよねぇ。

David: Uh, Phoebe, uh, I have... something I wanna say.	デイビット：あ、フィービー。ちょっと…、言いたいことがあってね。

Mike: I have a question I need to ask you.	マイク：どうしても聞きたいことがあるんだ。
David: I have a question I was kinda gonna ask her myself.	デイビット：僕もどうしても聞かないことを聞いてる途中なんだけど。
Mike: Yeah, I understand, but before you do, she really needs to hear this.	マイク：あぁ、分かってる。でもその前に、フィービーはこれを聞く必要がある。
David: (annoyed) Ok, would you care for my seat as well?	デイビット：（いらつく）　あっそ、僕の席まで奪うつもりなの？
Mike: Actually yeah, that'll be great.	マイク：あぁ、そうしてくれると助かる。
David: That's fair, you've had a long trip. (he leaves his seat to Mike, and stands there looking for a chair. He finally goes to Monica and Chandler's table)	デイビット：まぁいいや。長い旅で疲れているだろう。　（席をマイクに譲り、立ち上がり、席を探す。その後モニカとチャンドラーのテーブルに向かう）
Mike: Phoebe, I love you. I mean, I missed you so much these last few months and I thought we were apart for a good reason, but then I suddenly realized that there was no reason good enough to keep me from spending the rest of my life with you.	マイク：フィービー。君を愛している。この数ヶ月、君がいなくて僕はほんとに寂しかった。正当な理由があったから別れたと思っていた。でも、僕は気づいたんだ。君と一生過ごすことを妨げる正当な理由なんて存在しないんだって。

Phoebe: (smiles at him happily for a few seconds before answering) No!	フィービー：（とても幸せそうににっこりした後）　No。
David: Um... Ha ha!	デイビット：あー、ハハ！
Phoebe: I love you. But I never needed a proposal from you. I just needed to know that we were headed somewhere, you know, that we had a future.	フィービー：私、あなたを愛してる。でも私はプロポーズを求めていたんじゃないの。私たちがどこかに進んでいけるってことを知りたかっただけなの。私たちに未来があると知りたかったの。
Mike: We can have any future you want.	マイク：君の望む未来なら僕は…。

David: Ok, I'm gonna take off.	デイビット：さて、僕は帰るか。

David: Just so I know, if I had asked first...	デイビット：一つ聞いていい？　もし僕が最初に言っていたら…
Phoebe: Yeah, I might have said yes, but that would have been wrong.	フィービー：うん。Yesって言ったかも。でもそれは間違った選択だったと思う。
David: Please, you don't have to explain. I mean, perhaps if I hadn't gone to Minsk things would have worked out for us. And I wouldn't have ruined my career, or lost that toe to frostbite. (Rachel opens the drapes)	レイチェルはカーテンを開ける。

Chandler: Hey! Remember when I had corneas?	チャンドラー：おい！　俺の目が弱いの忘れたのか？
Monica: Ok listen, you go down to the pool and reserve the chairs, and I'll get the magazines and the lotion.	モニカ：ねぇ、すぐプールに行って、いす予約してきて。私は雑誌とローションを持っていく。
Chandler: Ladies? Ross's speech is in 45 minutes.	チャンドラー：レディーたち？　ロスの演説は45分後だよ。
Rachel: Nooo!	レイチェル：えー！
Monica: Damn it!	モニカ：ちくしょー！
Ross: (from across the wall) Walls are pretty thin, guys!	ロス：（壁の向こうから）　壁は薄いんだよ、君たちぃ！
[Scene: Conference room. Ross is making his keynote speech]	会議室。ロスがメインスピーチをしている。
Ross: Then we have to await the data from recent MRI scans and DNA testing which call into question information gathered from years of simple carbon dating.	ロス：そこで、MRIやDNAテストの結果が出るまでまたなければいけないわけです。しかもそれには炭素による年代測定のサンプルが大量に必要になります。
Rachel: Look at that woman sitting by the pool getting tan... so leathery and wrinkled, I'm so jealous!	レイチェル：プールのそばのあの女、日焼けしてる…、肌かさかさでしわだらけだけど…、うらやましい！
Ross: Finally, factoring the profusion of new species recently discovered: Gigantosaurus, Argentinasaurus...	ロス：ここで、最近大量に発見された新種を要素として考えて見ます。ジャイアントソラス、アージェンディナソラス…
Chandler: (to a paleontologist sitting next to him) Not to mention the cold sores.	チャンドラー：（隣に座っている古生物学者に）　口辺ヘルペスはもちろんだよね。 cold sore　口辺ヘルペス。かぜ、高熱に伴う現象。
(the paleontologist glares at Chandler)	古生物学者がチャンドラーをにらむ。
Ross: And that's just the herbivores. I'm not even gonna discuss the carnivores, their heads are already too big. Which is ironic considering their stunted cerebral development.	ロス：例は草食動物だけですが、食肉動物は今は議題とはしておりません。彼らの頭はみんな大きすぎますからね。しかし、大脳の発育が遅れたことを考えると皮肉な話ですよね。
(all the paleontologists laugh)	古生物科学者たちはみんな笑う。
Chandler: (to the one sitting next to him) Really?	チャンドラー：（横の古生物学者に）　まじで？
Ross: But all kidding aside, in much the same way that Homo ergaster is now thought to be a separate species from Homo erectus...	ロス：さて、冗談はほどほどにして話を続けましょう。同じように分類いたしますと、ホモエレガスタとホモエレクトゥスは別の種族ということになります。
(Joey laughs)	ジョーイが笑う。
Charlie: What?	チャーリー：どうしたの？

Ross: ... and while there are certainly vast differences between these Mesozoic fossiles and the example of Homo erectus...	ロス：確かに、これらの中生代の化石とホモエレクトゥスのサンプルにはかなりの違いが見られますが…

(Everybody stands up and applauds. Ross looks flattered and surprised. His friends and other members of the audience go to congratulate him)	みんな立ち上がり、拍手をする。ロスは驚き、嬉しそう。みんながロスのところへ駆け寄ってくる。
Ross: Oh, thanks guys!	ロス：みんな、ありがとう！
Man with a bow tie: (shaking hands with Ross) I thought... it was wonderful!	蝶ネクタイをした男：（ロスと握手をしながら）　いやぁ…、素晴らしかった！
Ross: Oh!	ロス：どうも。
Man with a bow tie: Jarvis Oberblau, Cornell. (sighs) I mean, the ideas you put forth and, and from someone... so... young... and... (sighs again and smiles at Ross blissfully).	蝶ネクタイをした男：コーネル大学のジャーヴィス・オベルブラです。　（ため息）　あなたのようなアイデアが…、あなたのような…、若い人から出てくるとは…　（ため息をつき、ロスを喜びに満ちた顔で見つめ続ける）
Ross: (with a frozen smile on his face, realizing something's wrong with Jarvis) Ok... now... now we're just holding hands! (pulls his hand away)	ロス：（固まった笑顔で、ジャーヴィスがちょっとおかしいことに気づく）　あ…、ただ手を握ってるだけですね。
Rachel: All right! Well, uh... (to Monica) we're gonna hit the beach?	レイチェル：さてと！　（モニカに）　ビーチに行こうよ！
Monica: Yeah!	モニカ：うん！
Rachel: (to Ross, in a flattering tone) It was really great!	レイチェル：（ロスに、ほめるトーンで）　ほんとによかったわ！
Ross: Oh, thank you so much!	ロス：あぁ、ありがとう。
Joey: Yeah, and so funny!	ジョーイ：あぁ、すげぇ面白かったぜ！
Rachel: Oh!	レイチェル：うん！
(Rachel, Joey and Chandler pat him on his shoulders and walk off, together with Monica)	レイチェル、ジョーイ、チャンドラーはロスの肩を叩き、モニカと一緒に出て行く。
Ross: (puzzled) Ok!... All right, thanks! Thank you so much, you guys! (to Phoebe) Oh, I can't tell you how much it means to me that you were here!	ロス：（困惑）　あ…、ありがと！　みんな、ありがとね！　（フィービーに）　君たちがわざわざ来てくれてほんとに嬉しいよ！
Mike: (popping by, smiling) You're kidding, we wouldn't have missed it!	マイク：（突然出てきてスマイル）　もちろんさ、見逃すわけないだろ！
(Ross is dumbfounded to see Mike instead of David)	ロスはデイビットではなくマイクが出てきたことに驚く。
Mike: Oh... I'm back!	マイク：あ…、戻ってきました！
Ross: (skating over, embarrassed) Ok!... Uh... excuse me? Yeah?	ロス：（ちょっとその場を抜ける）　ありがと…、ちょっといい？
Phoebe & Mike: Yeah! (they leave)	フィービーとマイク：うん。　（去る）
(Ross goes towards Charlie, who's conversing with a fellow paleontologist, and touches her shoulder to get her attention)	ロスはチャーリーのところへ行く。チャーリーは古生物学者と会話しているが、ロスに肩をたたかれ、ロスのほうへと行く。
Ross: Hey! Well...? (in expectation)	ロス：おっす！　どうだった？
Charlie: You were incredible!	チャーリー：ほんとよかったわ！
Ross: Yeah?	ロス：そう？
Charlie: You blew them away!	チャーリー：みんな大感動よ！
Ross: Oh, I can't tell you how great it was to look at the crowd and see your face! I mean... uh, did you know you were (giggles) mouthing the words along with me?	ロス：観客が喜んでくれたのを見れたこと、観客の中に君ががいたことがほんとによかった。君も僕に合わせて口パクしてたの気づいた？
Charlie: (smiling broadly) I was not!	チャーリー：（にっこり）　してないよ！
Ross: No, it's ok! Made me feel like a rock star!	ロス：いいんだよ！　何かロックスターになった気分だったよ！
Charlie: Oh my God! (pauses) I'm your groupie!	チャーリー：へぇー　（間）　じゃあ、私あなたの追っかけね！
Ross: (joking) I'd better not found you naked in my hotel room!	ロス：（ジョーク）　でも僕の部屋で裸で待ってちゃだめだよ！
(Ross giggles, but Charlie isn't amused at all.)	ロスは笑うが、チャーリーには受けなかった模様。
Ross: (realizing his joke wasn't so good, but still giggling) Look, I took it too far!	ロス：（ジョークが不適切だったと気づき、笑いながら）　あれ、ちょっと行き過ぎちゃった！
[Scene: the hotel lobby. Monica, Phoebe, Chandler and Mike walk in from the outside.]	[ホテルのロビー。モニカ、フィービー、チャンドラー、マイクが外からホテルに入ってくる。]
Monica: (her hair bigger then before) I can't believe it's raining again! Oh, it's so unfair!!!	モニカ：（髪がさらに巨大化）　また雨なんて信じられない。まじ不公平だわ！！
(They approach the buffet, where a couple of paleontologists are sipping their drinks)	みんなビュッフェに近づく。そこで2人の古生物学者が飲み物を飲んでいる。
Phoebe: Well, on the bright side, now you won't have to see all these paleontologists with their shirts off. (Grabs a drink and notices that the two men are upset) Not you guys. You got it going on!	フィービー：でも、古生物学者がシャツ脱いだとこ見なくていいと思えばいいじゃない。　（飲み物を手に取り、古生物学者2人が怒っていることに気づく）　あなたたちのことじゃないの。あなたたちは筋肉もりもりだもん！
(Monica, Phoebe, Chandler and Mike walk away, sipping their drinks)	モニカ、フィービー、チャンドラー、マイクは飲み物を飲みながら去る。
Monica: So, what are we gonna do today?	モニカ：今日はどうするの？
Mike: They have a game room downstairs. Ping pong and stuff.	マイク：下にゲームルームがあるよ。卓球とかあるよ。
Monica: (pleasantly surprised) Ping pong? (to Chandler) Honey, they have ping pong! Let's play!	モニカ：（嬉しそう）　卓球？　（チャンドラーに）　ハニー、卓球だって！　やろうよ！
Chandler: I don't think so!	チャンドラー：嫌だね！
Monica: (disappointed) Why not?	モニカ：（がっかり）　何でよ？
Chandler: Because you know how competitive you get and well, I say it's cute, others disagree, and I'm lying!	チャンドラー：君がいかに負けず嫌いかわかってるはずだ。俺はお世辞でかわいいなんて言ってるが、みんな嫌がってるの！
Monica: I'm not always that bad!	モニカ：そんなにひどくないわよ！
Chandler: Oh, yeah? What happened when we played last time?	チャンドラー：あ、っそう？　じゃあこの前はどうなった？
Monica: (hesitatingly) I punched you...?	モニカ：（嫌そうに）　あなたを殴った…
Chandler: And...?	チャンドラー：さらに？
Monica: ... Phoebe...?	モニカ：フィービーも…
Phoebe: ... and...?	フィービー：さらに…
Monica: I clunked your heads together!	モニカ：2人の頭をぶつけた。
(Chandler turns to Mike and gives him a "See what I mean?" look)	チャンドラーはマイクの方をみて、"わかったでしょ"って顔をする。
[Scene: Joey and Charlie's room]	[ジョーイとチャーリーの部屋。]
(Joey is sitting in an armchair and wearing a diving mask. He pulls out a grape from a bunch of fake grapes on the coffee table, puts it on the snorkel's breathing tube and blows it out, then giggles to himself)	ジョーイはアームチェアに座っており、シュノーケルを装備している。テーブルの上のニセモノのブドウを一個取り、シュノーケルに突っ込み、それを噴出し、笑う。
Charlie: (walking in) Hey! There you are!	チャーリー：（入ってくる）　おっす！　ここにいたのね。
Joey: Hey! (stands up) As soon as it stops raining we have got to go snorkeling! Some kid told me about the sea turtle and, if you blow bubbles in its face, it chases ya! (smiles ecstatic)	ジョーイ：おっす！　（立ち上がる）　雨が止んだらすぐにシュノーケリングに行こうよ！　さっき話した子供が言ってたんだけど、空気を亀の顔に吹きかけると、追いかけてくるんだって！　（嬉しそうにスマイル）
Charlie: I'm sorry, I can't! I'm running a discussion group all afternoon.	チャーリー：ごめんなさい、無理なの。午後はずーっと、グループ議論なの。
Joey: (disappointed) Oh... oh, but that's ok, I'll find someone else to do it... I'll do it alone, but... I don't know what happens if the sea turtle catches you...	ジョーイ：（がっかり）　そうか…、まぁいいよ。何かやること見つけるさ…、一人でできることを…、でも君が亀につかまったらどうなるか知りたかったな…
Charlie: You know... I feel so bad! I haven't seen you this whole trip and (pauses) especially last night...	チャーリー：うん…、ほんとごめんね！　この旅行の間ずーっと会えなかった。　（間）　特に昨日の夜なんか…
Joey: (interrupting her) Hey! Don't worry about it! It was fine! I ended up having the best time with Rachel! I just felt bad for you, stuck in that room, working on Ross's speech... (pulls a face)	ジョーイ：（割り込んで）　心配すんな、大丈夫だって！　レイチェルと楽しんだからさ！　でも君に申し訳なかったな。部屋でずっとロスの演説の手伝い…　（顔をしかめる）
Charlie: Actually, it turned out to be a lot of fun!	チャーリー：うーん、実はかなり楽しかったのよね。
Joey: (bewildered) Oh! Oh, well! At least we're both having fun!	ジョーイ：（当惑）　あ、っそう。まぁ2人とも楽しんだんならいいか。
Charlie: Yeah...	チャーリー：うん…
(There's an awkward moment of silence)	決まりの悪い雰囲気になる。
Charlie: ... is it weird that it's not with each other?	チャーリー：2人で楽しんでないっての変じゃない？
Joey: Yeah! A little bit, yeah...	ジョーイ：あぁ！　そうだな…
Charlie: (sitting down on the bed) I think we need to talk...	チャーリー：（ベットに座る）　ちょっと話をしておきたほうがよさそうね…

Joey: Yeah... I think we do... (sighs, with folded arms)... about what?	ジョーイ：あぁ…、そうだな…　（ため息、腕を組む）　…で何の話？
[Scene: the hotel game room. There is a ping pong table in the middle of the room. Monica, Phoebe, Chandler and Mike walk in]	[ホテルのゲームルーム。卓球のテーブルが中央にある。モニカ、フィービー、チャンドラー、マイクが入室。]
Monica: C'mon guys, it'll be fun!	モニカ：さーて、楽しもう！

Chandler: She gets crazy! This scar (points to his forehead) is from Pictionary!	チャンドラー：あいつはクレイジーになるんだぞ。　（おでこを指差し）　この傷はお絵かきで書いたんじゃないんだぞ！
Mike: (disbelieving) I think I will be all right! (to Monica) You wanna volley a bit for a serve?	マイク：（信じない）　大丈夫だって！　（モニカに）　サーブ権かけてボレーやる？
Monica: Sure! Got to!	モニカ：もちろん！　やるに決まってんじゃん！
(Monica and Mike start to play ping pong. Mike scores)	モニカとマイクは卓球を始める。マイクが勝つ。

Joey: What... for how long?	ジョーイ：え…、どのぐらい？
Rachel: Only like a month.	レイチェル：たった1ヶ月よ。
Joey: (outraged) A MONTH??	ジョーイ：（でかい声）　1ヶ月！
Rachel: What the... DIAL IT DOWN! (Joey goes to sit on the bed) Listen, ok, and maybe they're crazy thoughts, but sometimes I do, I have, I've been thinking about... you know, us! Rachel: (puzzled) Who...?	レイチェル：（混乱）　誰？
Joey: CURIOUS GEORGE! You know, the monkey, and the guy with the yellow hat!	ジョーイ：キュリアス・ジョージだよ！　ほら、黄色い帽子をかぶったサル！ Curious George　キュリアス・ジョージ。黄色い帽子をかぶったサル。Curiousは興味があるという意味。ちなみに第1シーズンでもキュリアス・ジョージの話がちょっと出てきました。
Rachel: Oh yes, of course, I remember him!	レイチェル：あぁーもちろん分かるわよ！
Joey: Yeah, he had a paper route.	ジョーイ：あぁ、あいつは新聞配達してたよな。

Rachel: (regretful) I'm sorry, too! (they look at each other sadly, then she recollects, and puts her hands over her eyes) OH GOD! I shouldn't have said anything!	レイチェル：（後悔）　ゴメンね。　（お互いに悲しげに見詰め合う。その後レイチェルは手で顔を覆う）　あー、言うべきじゃなかったわ！

Ross: Ooh, well. Ah, I kinda have got a lot on my plate right now, not that I wouldn't love a weekend in the country with a strange man. (Mr. Oberblau giggles)	ロス：いや、僕もいろいろとやりたいことがありましてね、いや別に週末を田舎で知らない男と過ごすのに興味がないってわけじゃないですよ。　（オベルブラはにっこり）

(Charlie walks by)	チャーリーがやってくる。

Ross: Yes, please! (they move and sit down on a sofa) So, what's going on?	ロス：あぁ、お願い！　（2人は移動し、ソファーに座る）　どうしたの？
Charlie: Uh, well... Joey and I broke up.	チャーリー：その…、ジョーイと別れた。
Ross: Oh my God, wh-what happened?	ロス：え？　どうしたの？

Phoebe: It's like watching porn!	フィービー：AV見てるときみたい！
(Chandler scores and wins the match)	チャンドラーが得点し、勝つ。
Chandler: And that's... how... it's done!	チャンドラー：まぁ、ざっとこんなもんよ！
Monica: (to Chandler) Oh my God. That was so amazing! When did you (pause) Hold on! I almost forgot (she turns to Mike) loser! (back to Chandler) When did you stop sucking?	モニカ：（チャンドラーに）　すごかったわぁ！　あなた、いつから　（間）　ちょっと待って！　忘れるところだった　（マイクを見る）　愚か者めが！　（チャンドラーを見る）　いつから下手じゃなくなったの？
Chandler: I never sucked, I actually didn't want you to know how good I was!	チャンドラー：別に最初から下手じゃないよ。君に上手いっての知られたくなかっただけだよ。
Monica: Why?	モニカ：何で？
Chandler: I don't know.	チャンドラー：さぁね？
Monica: This is so great! Now we can enter into doubles tournaments!	モニカ：やったわ！　これでダブルスができる！
Chandler: That's why!	チャンドラー：だからだよ！
[Scene: Hotel's bar. Ross is running to Charlie trying not to be seen with two cocktails in his hands. She's hidden behind a huge plant]	[ホテルのバー。ロスは2本カクテルを持って、見つからないようにチャーリーの方へ走っていく。チャーリーは植物の上に隠れている。]
Charlie: Thanks.	チャーリー：ありがと。
Ross: Hi.	ロス：うん。
Charlie: Are they still looking for us?	チャーリー：まだあの人たち、私たちを探してる？
Ross: Yeah. The bartender said that they split up into two search parties, the herbivores and the carnivores. (pause) You know, we as a group are not the coolest.	ロス：あぁ。バーテンダーが言うには2つのグループに分かれて探してるらしい、チーム名は草食軍と肉食軍だ。　（間）　僕たちってあんまかっこいいグループじゃないね。
(Three paleontologists walk by and Ross hugs Charlie trying not to be seen)	3人の古生物学者がそばを通る。ロスはチャーリーを抱いて隠す。
Ross: I don't think they saw us.	ロス：見つかってないみたいだね。
Charlie: I don't think they did.	チャーリー：うん。
(They realize that they are hugging closely and he draws back)	2人はあまりに近づいていることに気づき、ちょっと下がる。
Charlie: Um, so, I started to say you something earlier, um... (pause) There was another reason I realized it was time to end it with Joey. I kind of realized I... was starting to have feelings... for someone else.	チャーリー：あ、さっき言おうとしたことだけど…、　（間）　私がジョーイと別れたのにはほかに理由があるの。どうやら…、私好きな人がいるみたい…、ほかにね。
Ross: (apparently unruffled) Oh. Can I... can I ask who?	ロス：（静かである）　へぇ、誰だか聞いていいかな？
Charlie: I think you know.	チャーリー：知ってるはずよ。
Ross: I think I know too but I've been really wrong about this stuff in the past, so...	ロス：自分でも分かると思うんだけど、いつもこういうの当てるのって苦手なんだよねぇ…
(Charlie kisses Ross, they stop for a moment and then he kisses her back)	チャーリーはロスにキスをする。2人は一瞬止めるが、その後ロスはチャーリーにキスをする。
Ross: I'm sorry... we... we can't.	ロス：ごめん…、それは…、無理だ。
Charlie: All right, all right.	チャーリー：そうね、分かったわ。
Ross: I mean, you just went out with my best friend, and I just think it'd be a really really bad idea. (pause) Or-or not! (they kiss passionately)	ロス：君は僕の親友と別れたばかりだ。あまりいいことじゃないよ…、　（間）　でもまぁ、いいか！　（2人は情熱的にキスする）
(Joey walks in and sees Ross and Charlie kissing. He gives a faint, rueful smile, then he seems to recollect something and suddenly he moves back to Rachel's room. He knocks on her door and she opens)	ジョーイが通りかかり、ロスとチャーリーがキスしているのを発見する。ジョーイはそれを悲しそうな笑顔で見ている。その後何かを思い立ったように歩き出す。レイチェルの部屋へと歩いていき、ドアをノック。レイチェルがドアを開ける。
Rachel: What?	レイチェル：どうしたの？
(Joey says nothing, but enters the room and kisses her. They are kissing passionately.)	ジョーイは何も言わずに、部屋に入り、レイチェルにキスをする。2人はしばらく情熱的にキスを続ける。
Rachel: Oh.	レイチェル：あら。
(They continue their passionate kiss and Joey closes the door with his foot and it shuts in the camera's "face". And that's the end of the ninth season.)	2人は情熱的にキスを続ける。ジョーイは足でドアを閉める。カメラは部屋の外なため、中のことはわからない。これで第9シーズンは終了。
