Mike: 'Days of Our Lives'! That's why you look so familiar!	マイク："愛の病棟日誌"！　やっぱどっかで見たことあるかと思ったよ！
Phoebe: What?!	フィービー：え？！
Mike: What?!	マイク：あ？！
Joey: What?!	ジョーイ：何？！
Phoebe: Do you not know each other?	フィービー：知り合いじゃないの？
Joey: (Laughs) Of course we do! Mike is playing a game that we used to play in high school. Yeah, where we pretend we don't know each other. We played all kinds of games. (To Mike) Hey, remember the one where I punch you in the face for not being cool?!	ジョーイ：（笑う）　もちろん知り合いさ！　マイクは高校時代によくやった遊びをしてるだけさ。ほら、知らないふり遊びさ。こういう遊びよくやってたんだよ。　（マイクに）　おい、冷静じゃないから顔殴っちゃうぞゲーム覚えてるか？
Phoebe: Mike, let me ask you something. How many sisters does Joey have?	フィービー：マイク、ちょっと質問よ。ジョーイの妹は何人？
Mike: (Joey holds up six fingers) Six!	マイク：（ジョーイは6本の指を立てる）　6人！
Joey: What are you doing? I said seven! (Holds up six fingers.) (Realizes his mistake) Argh!!!	ジョーイ：何やってんだ？　7人だって言っただろ！　（6本の指を立てる）　（間違えに気づく）　あー！！！
Phoebe: Joey, why did you set me up with a stranger?	フィービー：ジョーイ、何で知らない人を紹介したのよ？
Joey: Because I forgot about our date, I'm so sorry.	ジョーイ：デートのこと忘れてたんだ、ごめんよ。
Mike: I'm sorry too. And just to be clear, I didn't hit his mother with a car.	マイク：僕からも謝るよ。あと、一応言っとくけど、ジョーイの母親をひいてないからね。
Phoebe: (To Joey) You are unbelievable! I spent so much time finding the perfect girl for you, you know. Mary Ellen is really smart and cute and loose.	フィービー：（ジョーイに）　もう信じられない！　私はあなたにぴったりの人探すのにすごい苦労したのにさ。マリー・エレンは頭が良くて、かわいくて、だらしないのよ。
Mary Ellen: Hey!	マリー・エレン：ちょっと！
Phoebe: Who are you kidding? (To Joey) You just find some guy off the street for me? Oh God! This is humiliating!	フィービー：事実でしょ？　（ジョーイに）　なのにあんたはそこら辺で見つけた男を連れてきたの？　もういや！　侮辱だわ！
Joey: Look Phoebe I'm so sorry! Hey, look, if you don't like this guy I can find you a better one. (Looks around) Mike!! Mike!!	ジョーイ：フィービー、ゴメン！　じゃあさ、こいつが気に入らないなら、もっといいやつ連れてくるよ。　（周りを見る）　マイク！！　マイク！！
Phoebe: I'm out of here (She leaves)	フィービー：もう帰る。　（帰る）
Mike: It was nice meeting you!	マイク：お会いできて楽しかったです！
Joey: (To Mary Ellen) You're leaving too?	ジョーイ：（マリ・エレンに）　君も帰っちゃうの？
Mary Ellen: I'll stay if you can tell me my name.	マリー・エレン：私の名前言えたら残るわ。
Joey: Good night!	ジョーイ：お休み！
[SCENE: Chandler and Monica's apartment]	[チャンドラーとモニカのアパート]
Chandler: Honey, we're leaving tomorrow you've still got a lot of packing to do.	チャンドラー：ハニー、明日出発だよ。まだ荷造りがたっぷり残ってるよ。
Monica: You're right. (Pause) Maybe I shouldn't go.	モニカ：そうね。　（間）　やっぱ行かない。
Chandler: What?	チャンドラー：え？
Monica: So Nancy told me about this job at this great restaurant, Javo. It's just a little outside of Tulsa.	モニカ：ナンシーがジャヴっていう一流レストランでの仕事のこと言ってたんだ。ちょっとタルサからは遠いんだ。
Chandler: How far outside?	チャンドラー：どんぐらい遠いの？
Monica: Manhattan.	モニカ：マンハッタン。
Chandler: And you're thinking of taking it? (Pause) So before you said being me with me was more important than any job, but I guess now it's old job, (Raises his hand) me, (Raises his hand) new job.	チャンドラー：その仕事受けようと思ってるの？　（間）　じゃあ、前はどんな仕事よりも俺のほうが重要だって言ってたけど、でも今は、前の仕事、　（手を上げる）　俺、　（手を上げる）　新しい仕事。
Monica: I'm gonna miss this hand! Okay I know it's a lot to ask, but oh my God Chandler, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity.	モニカ：この手が見られなくなるなんてさびしいわ！　ゴメンね、でもほんとにさ、チャンドラー、人生で一度のチャンスなのよ。
Chandler: What happened to 'you can't live without me four days a week'?	チャンドラー："俺が週に4日もいないんじゃ生きていけない"はどうしたんだ？
Monica: Well, if you really think about it, I mean four days is not that long. I mean, I see you Monday before you go to work, and I see you Thursday when you get back, and I always work late on Tuesdays, so really if you think about it, it's really just one day. And well, if we can't make it one day, we've got real problems my friend.	モニカ：でもさ、よく考えてみるとさ、4日ってそんなに長くないよ。だって、月曜、あなたが仕事行く前にちょっと会って、木曜あなたが帰ってきたときに会ってさ、私、火曜はいつも残業だし。だから実際は1日なのよ。だからその1日をしのげなかったら、私たち困っちゃうわよ。
Chandler: I think you should take the job.	チャンドラー：その仕事受けたほうがいいよ。
Monica: Really?	モニカ：ほんとに？
Chandler: Yeah. I know it must be important to you when you start chattering like a monkey.	チャンドラー：うん。サルみたいにキーキー言うときは、君にとっていつも大事なことだからね。
Monica: That's the nicest anyone has ever said to me!	モニカ：そんなこと言ってくれるなんて、ほんとにやさしい人ね！
(Ross and Rachel enter with Emma.)	ロスとレイチェルがエマをつれて入室。
Ross: Hey!	ロス：やぁ！
Monica: How was the pediatrician?	モニカ：小児科医はどうだった？
Rachel: Oh, I really liked him. (Looks at Ross) Yeah, it was really, really, really good.	レイチェル：ほんとにいい人だったわ。　（ロスを見る）　うん、ほんとに、ほんとに、ほんとによかった。
Ross: You promised you wouldn't say anything.	ロス：何も言わない約束だぞ。
Rachel: I know. (Pause) Ross still sees his pediatrician!!! (To Ross) I don't care!	レイチェル：わかってる。　（間）　ロスはまだ小児科医に通ってる！！！　（ロスに）　言っちゃった！
Monica: Are you serious? You still see Dr. Gettleman?	モニカ：ほんとに？　兄さんまだゲトルマン先生のとこに通ってるの？
Ross: He's a brilliant diagnostician!	ロス：彼はすばらしい診断医だ！
Chandler: Diagnostician or boo-boo fixer?	チャンドラー：診断医？　ブーブーの修理屋じゃなくて？
Rachel: Ross, seriously! You've gotta go to an appropriate doctor.	レイチェル：ロス、まじでさ！　もっとちゃんとした医者にいきなよ。
Ross: Why? Why? I know it's a little weird, but hey, he's a great doctor, okay? He knows my medical history, and every time I go in there, he makes a big deal. 'Ah look, it's my favorite patient!'	ロス：なんで？　なんで？　確かにちょっと変だけどさ。でもほんとにいい医者なんだよ。僕の病歴も知ってるし、いつも僕が行くと喜んでくれるんだよ。　"おー、私のお気に入りの患者さんだ！"
Chandler: Does he say that before he sticks his thermometer in your touchy?	チャンドラー：それは坊やがいらいらしてるときに体温計を使う前に言うのかな？
Ross: Hey, I seem to remember someone bringing his security blanket to college!	ロス：でも、誰かが彼のお守り毛布を大学に持ってきてくれたんだよ！
Chandler: That was not a security blanket! That was a wall-hanging!	チャンドラー：あれはお守り毛布じゃない！　ありゃ壁掛けだ！
Ross: It didn't spend much time on the wall!!!	ロス：壁掛けとして使わなきゃ壁掛けじゃない！！！
[SCENE: Central Perk]	[セントラルパーク]
Mike: Excuse me, hi. I was hoping I would run into you. Can we talk?	マイク：失礼、どうも。ここにくれば会えると思いました。ちょっとお話いいですか？
Phoebe: Sure.	フィービー：はい。
Mike: I'm sorry, really, I'm so embarrassed. Really, I'm a pretty nice guy. Just ask my parole officer...Apparently I'm not a funny guy.	マイク：ごめんなさい。ほんとに。自分が恥ずかしかったよ、ほんとに。でも僕は悪い人じゃありません。僕の仮釈放見張りの警官に聞いてください…。どうやら、面白い人ではないみたいですけど。
Phoebe: Why did you go along with that?	フィービー：なんであんなことしたのよ？
Mike: Because I was told I'd get a free dinner, which I didn't. And that I'd meet a pretty girl. Which I did.	マイク：ディナーおごるって言われたから。おごってくれなかったけど。あと、かわいい女の子に会えると思ったから、で実際会えた。
Phoebe: That's true. (Pause) Well, is anything you told me about yourself true?	フィービー：そうね。　（間）　うーん、昨日言ったことで事実ってあるの？
Mike: My name in Mike, and I do play piano.	マイク：僕の名前はマイクだ。ピアノも弾く。
Phoebe: Prove it.	フィービー：証明して。
Mike: There isn't a piano here.	マイク：ここにピアノないんだけど。
Phoebe: That wouldn't stand in the way of a true pianist.	フィービー：本物のピアニストの前にはないものよ。
Mike: (Plays 'air piano')	マイク：（空気ピアノをやる）
Phoebe: You are really good! I play a little guitar myself.	フィービー：あなたうまいわね！　私、ちょっとギターやるの。
Mike: Really?	マイク：ほんと？
Phoebe: Uhuh.	フィービー：うん。
Mike: That's great. What kind of music do you play?	マイク：すごいね。どんな曲弾くの？
Phoebe: Well, like acoustic folksy stuff. You know? But right now I'm working on a couple 'Iron Maiden' covers.	フィービー：アコースティックフォークとか。あ、でも今は"アイアン・メイデン"の曲を2曲ぐらい。
Mike: Do you think that maybe, sometime, I could...	マイク：その、ときどき、僕が…
Phoebe: It's okay. Go ahead, ask me out.	フィービー：いいわよ。どうぞ、誘ってください。
Mike: Okay. Do you think maybe sometime I could take you out?	マイク：いいの。時々、デートに誘っていいかな？
Joey: (Walks In)	ジョーイ：（入室）
Phoebe: (To Mike) Oh, you just caught me off guard! Yeah, that would be nice.	フィービー：（マイクに）　あら、もう気が緩んじゃった！　うん、いいわよ。
Joey: Look at this. My two best friends!	ジョーイ：いいねぇ、俺の親友2人が！
(Phoebe and Mike look at him, and he goes over to the counter.)	フィービーとマイクはジョーイをにらむ。ジョーイはカウンターへ。
[SCENE: Pediatrician's office]	[小児科医のオフィス]
Ross: Excuse me, I don't mean to be a jerk, but the baby with the rash came in after me.	ロス：すいません、文句言うわけじゃないけどさ、僕はあの発疹の赤ちゃんより先にきたんだけど。
Receptionist: The doctor will be right with you sir.	受付：もうすぐあなたの番でございますよ。
Girl: (Reading a book) Mommy, I can't find Waldo.	女の子：（本を読んでいる）　ママ、ウォルドが見つからない。
Ross: With the circus? He's behind the elephant.	ロス：サーカスのページ？　像の後ろだよ。
Woman: Wow, so your child is a big fan of the Waldo books too?	女：あら、あなたのお子さんもウォルドの本が大好きなんですね。
Ross: Yeah, that's how I know. I'm Ross by the way.	ロス：あ、そうなんですよ。あ、僕はロスです。
Sally: Hi, I'm Sally. So, no ring. Can I assume you are also a single parent?	サリー：どうも、私はサリーです。指輪なしってことは、シングルファーザーって思っていいですか？
Ross: I am a single parent.	ロス：僕はシングルファーザーです。
Sally: It's hard isn't it? There's almost no time for a social life. I mean, where are you gonna meet someone?	サリー：大変ですよね？　社会的な時間が取れないですよね。誰かと会いたくても会えないですよね。
Ross: Well, let's say, I don't know, you met someone in the pediatrician's office.	ロス：そうですね。小児科医のオフィスで出会ったことなんてないと思いますが…。
Nurse: (To Ross) Rossy, we're ready for you.	看護婦：（ロスに）　ロスちゃん、あなたの番よー。
Ross: Hmm, yeah. (To a random boy in the waiting room) Come on Ross jr. It's time to go in.	ロス：あ、そうですか。　（待合室の見知らぬ男の子に）　さぁ、ロスジュニア。君の番だよ。
Boy: Mommy (He walks over to Sally.)	男の子：ママ。　（サリーの方へ歩いていく。）
Girl: Mommy, what's wrong with that man?	女の子：ママ、あの人なんか変。
Ross: Hey, I helped you find Waldo!	ロス：僕がウォルダを見つけたんだぞ！
[SCENE: Chandler and Monica's apartment]	[チャンドラーとモニカのアパート]
Ross: (Enters) Oh good, you haven't left yet.	ロス：（入室）　よかった。まだ出発してなかった。
Monica: Where have you been?	モニカ：どこ行ってたの？
Ross: I got held up at Dr. Gettleman's office. There was some guy that freaked everybody out.	ロス：ゲトルマン先生のオフィスでちょっと長引いちゃって。何か、変な男がいてさ。
Chandler: Well, you got here just in time. I really have to go buddy. (They hug)	チャンドラー：今ちょうどでるとこだよ。そろそろほんとに行かなきゃ。　（2人はハグする。）
Ross: Oh man.	ロス：じゃあな。
Monica: Promise to call me when you land.	モニカ：向こうについたら電話ちょうだいね。
Chandler: Of course I will call you. I love you.	チャンドラー：もちろん電話するよ。愛してるよ。
Monica: I love you too. (They kiss)	モニカ：私も愛してるわ。　（2人はキスする。）
Rachel: Okay, wow, wow, wow. Watch the tongue people, we've got a baby over here.	レイチェル：はーい、ちょっと、ちょっと、ちょっと。舌に気をつけてね。赤ちゃんがいるんだからね。
Phoebe: Bye Chandler.	フィービー：じゃあね、チャンドラー。
Chandler: Awww. (They hug) Bye!	チャンドラー：あぁ。　（2人はハグする）　じゃあね！
Rachel: Bye honey. (They hug)	レイチェル：じゃあね。　（2人はハグする）
Chandler: (Tries to hug Joey but Joey moves away) What's the matter Joe?	チャンドラー：（ジョーイとハグしようとするが、ジョーイは逃げる）　どうしたんだ、ジョーイ？
Joey: I'm mad at you for leaving! You're nothing but a big leaver. Big leaver with a stupid suitcase.	ジョーイ：お前が去るから、俺は怒ってるんだ！　この引越し野郎め。かっこ悪いスーツケースをもった引越し野郎。
Chandler: Any chance you are trying to pick a fight to make all this easier?	チャンドラー：別れが辛いから、怒ったふりしてるんだろ？
Joey: Dude, you see right through me!! (They hug) (Joey heads for the door and pushes Chandler's suitcase on the way out.)	ジョーイ：やっぱ、お前は最高だ！！　（2人はハグする）　（ジョーイはドアの方へ向かい、チャンドラーのスーツケースを倒す。）
Chandler: Well, bye Mon, bye Ross, Rachel, bye Emma!	チャンドラー：さぁ、じゃあねモニカ、じゃあなロス、レイチェル、バイバイエマ！
Phoebe: Okay, bye-bye! (Pushes Chandler out the door.) Good trip! (Slams the door)	フィービー：はーい、バイバーイ！　（チャンドラーをドアの外へ追い出す）　いい旅を！　（ドアを閉める）
Monica: (Runs out to the hallway) Chandler, wait. It goes: Old job, (Raises her hand) new job, (Raises her hand really high) you. This is just something I have to do.	モニカ：（廊下へ走って出て行く）　チャンドラー、待って。前の仕事、　（手を上げる）　新しい仕事、　（かなり高く手を上げる）　あなた。どうしてもやらなきゃいけないことなの。
Chandler: I know.	チャンドラー：わかってる。
Monica: I love you so much.	モニカ：ほんとに愛してるわ。
Chandler: I know that too. (They kiss)	チャンドラー：それもわかってるよ。　（2人はキスをする）
(Joey opens the door and takes Chandler's suitcase into his own apartment.)	ジョーイがドアをあけて登場し、チャンドラーのスーツケースを自分のアパートに持って行ってしまう。
[SCENE: Airport]	[空港]
Chandler: (On cell phone) Don't worry, I'll be back before you know it. Yes it will be the same. Because I know, that's how. I promise.	チャンドラー：（携帯電話で）　心配するなよ。すぐに戻ってくるよ。変わらないって。俺にはわかるよ。約束するって。
[CUT TO: Monica and Chandler's apartment.]	[モニカとチャンドラーのアパートへ場面が変わる]
Joey: (On the phone with Chandler) Double promise? Call me when you land.	ジョーイ（チャンドラーと電話中）　2倍約束する？　向こうについたら電話してね。
Monica: Can I talk now?	モニカ：私が話していい？
