Joey: I guess I'm going to have to come up with a really good reason why I wasn't there. The producers are going to be so mad at me. They sat us all down yesterday and said "Everyone has to be there at 6:00 AM sharp, that means you Tribbiani." Like I was some kind of idiot.	ジョーイ：うまく、行けなかった理由を考えなきゃ。プロデューサーに怒られる。昨日あれだけ言ってたもんなぁ、"みんな朝の6時までには来いよ、お前に言ってるんだぞ、トリビアーニ！"　俺をバカみたいに言いやがって。

Rachel: Oh well yeah me too. Um, I had a baby.	レイチェル：あ、そうなの、私もよ。赤ちゃん産んだし。
Amy: I decorated Dad's office.	エイミー：父さんのオフィスデコレートしたの。
Rachel: Oh... yeah? Well unless you pushed a desk out of your vagina, (shakes head no) not the same thing.	レイチェル：あ、そう。机でも産んだわけじゃないでしょ、　（首を振る）　私のほうが大変よ。

(Amy bending over fiddling with her purse when Emma cries and she hears Emma)	（エイミーはかがむとエマが泣いてるのが聞こえる）

Amy: Not really. But you are much cuter then that geeky guy she used to date.	エイミー：え、会ったこと会ったっけ？　でも、姉さんが前にデートしてた変な男よりずっとかっこいいわね。
Ross: That was me.	ロス：それ僕。
Amy: No, he was this creepy guy from high school who had this huge crush on her since like the ninth grade.	エイミー：違うのよ。9年のときから姉さんに片思いしてたやつでさ、何かほんとに気持ち悪いやつなの。 ※：9年生は日本の中学2年に当たる。
Ross : Still me.	ロス：やっぱ僕だ。

[Scene: Monica and Chandler's Apartment. Joey is walking around looking worried.]	[モニカとチャンドラーのアパート。ジョーイは心配そうにうろうろしている。]
Monica: Careful. (hands Chandler a china plate) Careful. CAREFUL!	モニカ：気をつけて。　（チャンドラーにお皿を渡す）　気をつけて。気をつけて！
(Chandler is startled and nearly drops the plates.)	（チャンドラーはモニカの声で落としそうになる）
Chandler: I'll tell you what, for the rest of our lives, I'll be careful until told otherwise. (looks at china) hey wait a minute this isn't the china we picked out.	チャンドラー：俺は誓うよ。残りの人生、気をつけてないって言わない限り、気をつけるよ。　（お皿を見る）　ん？　ちょっと待てよ。俺らの選んだお皿じゃないぞ。
Monica: I know, after you left the store, I chose different ones.	モニカ：そうよ。あなたが店出た後、違うのに変えたの。
Chandler: Why?	チャンドラー：なんで？
Monica: Well no offense honey, but your taste is a little feminine for me.	モニカ：ハニー、悪いけど、あなたの趣味はちょっと女っぽすぎるのよ。
Chandler: Oh suddenly, flowers are feminine?	チャンドラー：は、お花が女っぽすぎる？

Joey: Hey happy Thanksgiving. Pheebs! (motions her to come over)	ジョーイ：おっす、感謝祭おめでとう。フィービー！　（ちょっと来てとジェスチャーをする）
Phoebe: Hey, what's going on Joe?	フィービー：どうしたの、ジョーイ？
Joey: I-I-I need a good lie.	ジョーイ：ちょっとうまいうそが必要なんだ。
Phoebe: Oh okay. How about the whole "man walking on the moon" thing. You know? You. you could. You could see the strings people!	フィービー：なるほどね。じゃあ、"人が月の上歩く"ってやつは？　糸が見えてるってっちゅうの。
Joey: No, no, no I need a good lie to explain why I wasn't at a work thing today.	ジョーイ：違う、違う、違う、何で今日仕事にいけなかったかってやつ。
Phoebe: Ooh, honey. You stink at lying.	フィービー：あらら、でも、あなたうそ下手だからね。
Joey: I do not.	ジョーイ：下手じゃないよ。
Phoebe: Oh really. Okay. let me ask you something. Yesterday at the coffee house, I went to the bathroom and when I came back, my muffin was gone. Who took it?	フィービー：あっそう？　じゃあちょっと質問するわよ。昨日、セントラルパークで、私がトイレに行ってきたら、私のマフィンがなくなってたの、誰がとったの？
Joey: Somebody opened the door to the coffee house and a raccoon came running in, went straight for your muffin and I said "Hey don't eat that-that's Phoebe's" and he said... (pause) He said... "Joey you stink at lying." What am I gonna do?	ジョーイ：誰かがドアあけたらさ、アライグマがマフィンに向かって突然突っ込んできてさ、俺は"やめろよ！　それはフィービーのだ！"って言ったんだけど、アライグマがさ…　（間）　アライグマが、"ジョーイお前うそが下手だな"って言ったんだ。あ、どうしよう。
Phoebe: Don't worry, don't worry. We'll come up with a good lie. I'll help you practice it.	フィービー：大丈夫、大丈夫。きっとうまいうそを思いつくわよ。私が訓練してあげる。
Joey: Oh great, that'd be great. Thank you.	ジョーイ：よかったぁ。ありがとう。
Phoebe: Sure. What, what was the work thing?	フィービー：いいのよ。で、仕事って何のこと？
Joey: Uh... (forgetting what the work thing was, rolls up his sleeve on his right arm and shows Phoebe, she looks)	ジョーイ：えーと…　（何のことだったか忘れたため、右腕の袖をまくってフィービーに見せる）
Phoebe: "Pick up grandma at the airport"?	フィービー："ばあちゃんを空港に迎えに行く？"

Amy: Oh she's precious. Do you ever worry she's going to get your real nose?	エイミー：ほんとかわいいわね。でもあなたの鼻が遺伝しないか心配じゃない？ ※：レイチェルは昔、鼻を整形しています。
Rachel: Amy! (pause) Yes I do. I really do. (grabs Ross's hand for support)	レイチェル：エイミー！　（間）　心配よ、ほんとに心配だわ。　（ロスの手を握る）
(Amy's cell rings)	（エイミーの携帯が鳴る）
Amy: Hello? Yeah, um. Hang on one sec. (to Ross and Rachel) Can I take this upstairs?	エイミー：もしもし？　あ、ちょっと待って。　（ロスとレイチェルに）　上の部屋つかっていい？
Ross: Sure, we don't live there but.	ロス：もちろん。僕たちの家じゃないけどね。
Amy: Seriously? It's, its just these rooms? (To Ross) I thought you were a doctor.	エイミー：まじで？　ここの階だけなの？　（ロスに）　あなたドクターじゃなかったの？
Rachel: Yeah, no. Ross has a PhD.	レイチェル：そうよ。ロスは博士号持ってるわ。
Amy: Ew. (walks into Rachel's room.)	エイミー：なーんだ。　（レイチェルの部屋に行く）
Rachel: God she is unbelievable.	レイチェル：なんてやつなの。
Ross: I know, I mean a PhD is just as good as an MD.	ロス：そうだよ。博士号と医学博士号の価値は変わんないんだぞ。
Rachel: Oh sure Ross, yeah. If I have a heart attack in a restaurant, I want you there with your fossil brush.	レイチェル：そうね、ロス。レストランで心臓発作起こしたら、化石ブラシで助けてよ。
Amy: (storms out) Stupid Thanksgiving.	エイミー：（出てくる）　感謝祭なんて大嫌い！
Rachel: What? What happened?	レイチェル：ど、どうしたのよ？
Amy: My boyfriend canceled on me. I mean, I-I finally find a real relationship. I mean, someone that I can spend this day with and then his wife comes back into town. I swear, it's almost not worth dating married guys.	エイミー：彼氏がドタキャンしやがった。やっと本物の彼ができたと思ったのに。一緒に感謝祭をすごせる人が見つかったのに、妻が帰ってきやがった。結婚した男とデートなんてろくなものんじゃないわ。
Ross: Don't say that.	ロス：それ言っちゃおしまいだよ。
Amy: Oh. I was so looking forward to this. It was going to be such a beautiful Thanksgiving. We were going to have sushi.	エイミー：ほんとに楽しみにしてたのに。ほんとにいい感謝祭になるはずだったのに、すし食べたかったよぉ！
Rachel: Oh Amy, don't cry Amy. Um... Ross, could I talk to you in private?	レイチェル：エイミー、泣かないで。ロス、ちょっと話いい？
Ross: Sure, you want to go upstairs?	ロス：いいよ、上に行く？
(Ross and Rachel go in the kitchen)	（ロスとレイチェルがキッチンに行く。）
Rachel: Um look I was thinking. If its ok with Monica I would like to invite Amy to Thanksgiving.	レイチェル：あのさ、モニカがいいって言ったら、エイミーを感謝祭パーティーに連れて行きたいんだけど。
Ross: You know, I think thats a great idea. It'll be like the pilgrims bringing the Indians syphilis.	ロス：なるほど、いいアイデアだね。旅人がインディアンに毒をあげるみたいなもんだ。 ※：感謝祭はイギリスから来た旅人（開拓者）を助けてくれたインディアンに感謝するお祭りです。
Rachel: Look I know she's a little tough to take. She has no where else to go, and she's my sister. Alright, she's Emma's aunt. And I would like them to bond.	レイチェル：確かにむかつくやつだけどさ。他に行くとこないのよ。私の妹だしさ、つまりエマの叔母なのよ。2人に仲良くなってほしいし。
Ross: Ok, fine, but I don't want them bonding to much. I don't want her telling Emma she needs a nose job.	ロス：しょうがないな。でもエマとはあんま仲良くなってほしくないな。エマに鼻の整形しなさいなんて言ってほしくないよ。
Rachel: Ross, you know what? She may need one. We're just going to have to make our peace with that!	レイチェル：ロス、マジで整形する必要があるかもしれないのよ。もう心配でたまらないんだから！
(Rachel grabs Ross' hand for support and starts to cry a little)	（レイチェルはロスの手を握り、ちょっと泣き出す。）

Rachel: Hi.	レイチェル：おっす。
Everyone: Hi, hey.	みんな：おーっす。
Rachel: Hey you guys, this is my sister Amy. This is Chandler, Joey, Phoebe and you know Mon.	レイチェル：みんな、私の妹のエイミーよ。こちらがチャンドラー、ジョーイとフィービー。モニカは知ってるわよね。
Everyone: Hi.	みんな：どうも。
Amy: Oh my god. You're on Days of Our Lives.	エイミー：うわぁ、あなた"愛の病棟日誌"出てるでしょ！
Joey: (smiling) Yeah. (They shake hands.)	ジョーイ：（にっこり）　あぁ。　（握手する）
Amy: Wow. They must put a lot of makeup on you.	エイミー：うわぁ、化粧落とすと別人ね。
Joey: Hap... Hap... Happy Thanksgiving.	ジョーイ：あ…、か、感謝祭おめでと…。
(Joey turns away and Chandler reassuringly pats him on the back)	ジョーイは去っていく、チャンドラーはジョーイの肩をたたく
Ross: (to Monica) Hi.	ロス：（モニカに）　おっす。
Monica: (to Ross) Hi.	モニカ：（ロスに）　おっす。
(they hug and kiss on check)	（2人はハグして、ほおにキスする。）
Monica: (to Emma) Hey you.	モニカ：（エマに）　はーい、エマちゃん。
Monica: (to Amy) So. Welcome. Is this your first time you're seeing Emma?	モニカ：（エイミーに）　ようこそ。エマに会うのは初めてかしら？
Amy: (with confused look on face) Yeah I-I think so. (sticks her hand out to shake hands with Phoebe and says to her) It's nice to meet you Emma.	エイミー：（困惑した顔）　あ、そ、そうだと思うわ。　（フィービーに向かって握手のため手を差し出す）　はじめましてエマさん。
Phoebe: (shakes hands) Phoe-Be.	フィービー：（握手）　フィービー。
Amy: Oh. That's a funny noise.	エイミー：あら、面白い音ね。
(Monica and Amy turn away and walk into the living room.)	（モニカとエイミーは振り向き、寝室へと歩いていく。）
Joey: Pheebs, I still need some help here	ジョーイ：フィービー、まだアドバイス聞いてないよ。
Phoebe: Oh right, ok um. Ok so it's not just the lie you tell, but it's the way you tell it. For example if you look down at the ground when you're talking, people know you're lying.	フィービー：あ、そうだってね。ただどいううそかだけが重要なんじゃないのよ。言い方も大事なの。たとえば、話しているときに下向いてたりすると、うそついてるってばれちゃうわ。
Joey: Oh. I don't know why this is so hard for me, you know. I mean lying is basically just acting and I am a terrfic actor.	ジョーイ：なるほどね。何でこんなに大変なのかわからないよ。うそなんて演技とあんまかわんないじゃん、俺はいい役者なのにさ。
Phoebe: (looks down) You are a terrific actor.	フィービー：（下を向いて）　あんたはいい役者よ。
Amy: (coming out of the bathroom) Hey where's the baby?	エイミー：（トイレから出てくる）　ねぇ、赤ちゃんどこ？
Rachel: Oh we just put her down for a nap.	レイチェル：あ、ちょうど今、寝かしつけたところ。
Amy: Oh I was just thinking. You know what would be incredible? If you guys died.	エミー：あのさ、ちょっと考えてたんだけどさ。こうなったらすごいと思わない？　あなたたちが死ぬのよ。
Ross: (sarcastic happy) Thank you Amy.	ロス：（皮肉っぽく幸せそうにする）　ありがとう、エイミー。
Amy: No, no, then I would get the baby. I mean you know it would be just like a movie. Like at first I wouldn't know what to do with her, then I would rise to the occasion and then I would get a makeover and then I'd get married.	エイミー：違う、違うの、そしたら赤ちゃんは私のもんじゃん。映画みたいで面白そうじゃない？　最初は何していいかわからないんだけど、苦労を乗り越えて、イメチェンして、結婚するのよ。
Phoebe: Thats a great movie. (she claps)	フィービー：いい映画ねぇ。　（拍手）
(Joey nods in agreement)	ジョーイは同意してうなずく
Amy: Now listen, not that you guys could stop me or anything cause you know you'd be dead. I was thinking about changing her name. I'm just not really a big fan of Emily.	エイミー：ねぇ、そうそう。もし死んじゃったらどうでもいいんだろうけどさ、ちょっと赤ちゃんの名前変えたいのよ。エミリーってあんまいい名前だと思わないのよね。
Ross: Emma.	ロス：エマ。
Amy: (turns around to Phoebe) Emma, Ross wants you.	エイミー：（フィービーの方を見て）　エマ、ロスが呼んでるわよ。
Phoebe: PHOE-BE.	フィービー：フィービー！
Amy: (turns to Ross and Rachel) Why does she keep making that noise?	エイミー：（ロスとレイチェルの方を見る）　何であの人あの音出すの？
Rachel: Honey, I don't know how to tell you this, but um, if something were to happen to Ross or to myself (Ross and Rachel knock on wood) um you wouldn't get the baby.	レイチェル：あのさ、なんて言っていいかわかんないんだけど、万が一ロスと私に何かあっても、　（ロスとレイチェルは木をたたく）　赤ちゃんはあなたのものにはならないわ。 ※：全部の国でそういうわけじゃないんでしょうけど、欧米では、演技でもないことを言った場合、コンコンと叩くのが習慣になっています。
Amy: Well who would?	エイミー：じゃあ、誰に渡すのよ？
Ross: Well we haven't offically asked them yet, but we would want Monica and Chandler.	ロス：まだ正式に頼んではいないけどさ、モニカとチャンドラーに頼むと思うよ。
Chandler: I can't believe you'd want us to raise Emma.	チャンドラー：俺たちにエマを？　ほんとに嬉しいな。
Monica: Yeah. Oh my god, I'm so moved.	モニカ：ほんとに？　感動しちゃうわ。
Amy: I don't believe this, hold on a second. You guys die and I don't get your baby?	エイミー：まじで言ってんの？　ちょっと待ってよ。あんたたちが死んでも、私に赤ちゃんくれないの？
Rachel: See look Amy, we're a lot closer to Monica and Chandler. We see them every day. And truthfully honey, you don't seem very connected to the baby.	レイチェル：あのさ、エイミー、モニカとチャンドラーの方が仲いいし、毎日会ってるしさ。正直言って、あんた赤ちゃんと接点ないじゃん。
Amy: Connected? I mean to what? She's, she's a lump.	エイミー：接点？　何よそれ？　赤ちゃんなんて、ただの肉の固まりじゃん。
Chandler: You know, guys I got to say. This means so much to me. That you would trust me with your child. I mean, we all know that Monica and I have been trying to have a baby of our own. You know I've had my doubts about my skills as a father, but that you two... that you two..... [Scene: They are still at Monica and Chandler's.]	[まだみんなモニカとチャンドラーのアパートにいる]
Monica: Okay! It's time for dinner. Everyone we're using our fancy china and it's very expensive so please be careful.	モニカ：さてと！　ディナーの時間よ。みんな、今日はおしゃれなお皿使うの、すごい高かったんだ。だから、頼むから気をつけてね。
Ross: (starts playing with a plate) Woah. Woah... (nearly really drops the plate and more seriously) Woah.	ロス：（皿で遊びだす）　おっとっと、おっとっと…　（ほんとに落としそうになり、マジになる）　おっと。
Monica: Okay, just to be clear comedy with the plates will not be well recieved. (pinches Ross' arm)	モニカ：さて、一応確認しとくけど、お皿で遊んでも面白くないからね。　（ロスの腕をつねる）
Ross: Aww!	ロス：いて！
Joey: Hey! How come my plate's less fancy than everyone else's? Do you not trust me with a fancy plate?	ジョーイ：おい！　何で俺の皿だけ高級じゃないんだよ！　俺を信頼してないのか？
Monica: No, honey. It's, thats a special plate. See it's a game, whoever gets that plate wins.	モニカ：違うわよ。それはスペシャルプレートなのよ。このお皿の人が勝ちなのよ。

Amy: No, she was this really dorky girl in high school that used to follow Rachel around like a puppy dog.	エイミー：違うわよ。姉さんの高校時代のほんと変な女でさ、いつも姉さんを犬みたいに追い回してたのよ。
Rachel: Hey. Amy. You've got to stop doing that.	レイチェル：エイミー！　いい加減にしなさいよ！
(Amy gets pissed and starts cutting food on the fancy plate very harshly, you can hear the silveware scraping the fancy plate)	（エイミーは怒って、音がはっきり聞こえるほど高級な皿の上で食べ物を激しく切りまくる。）
Monica: Okay, listen I know you're having a little bit of a family crisis, but you don't have to take it out on the plates. I mean, I mean in fact I think that everyone should cut their food like this.	モニカ：あのさ、家族の危機なのはわかるけど、お皿に当たらないでよ。あのさ、みんなこういうふうに切ってよ。
(Monica holds a turkey leg up in the air over the plate trying to cut meat off with a knife)	モニカは七面鳥の脚を持ちながら、肉をそぎ落とすように切る。
Monica: Now see, this way you protect the plate, and let's face it you have fun.	モニカ：ほらね、お皿傷つかないし、よく考えてみれば楽しいじゃん。
Amy: Okay, how about this, you guys die and the crazy plate lady dies, then do I get the baby?	エイミー：じゃあ聞くけどさ。あんたたちが死んでさ、このお皿バカ女が死んだらさ、赤ちゃんは私のものよね？
Chandler: No, if crazy plate lad... (sees Monica frustrated at this comment) If Monica dies then I would get Emma, Right?	チャンドラー：もし、お皿バカ女が…、　（モニカが怒ってるのに気づく）　もしモニカが死んだら、エマは俺のものだよな？
(Ross and Rachel pause and ponder this)	ロスとレイチェルは一瞬とまり、考える
Rachel: Well actually...	レイチェル：あ、そうねぇ…
Chandler: Actually what?	チャンドラー：え？　そうねぇ、何？
Ross: Well... It's just, it's just in that case, then um. Emma would go to my parents.	ロス：あ、その、その場合はね、僕の両親に預けると思う。
Chandler: What?	チャンドラー：は？
Amy: Hurts, doesn't it? (Chandler gives a look that says "Yeah!")	エイミー：傷つくでしょ？　（チャンドラーは口パクで、"そうだね"という。）
Joey: (raises his hand) Uh... who has to die for me to get her?	ジョーイ：（手を上げる）　あのさ…、俺のものになるためには、誰が死ねばいいの？

Chandler: So if Monica's not around, then I'm not good enough to raise Emma?	チャンドラー：じゃあ、何か？　モニカがいなかったら、俺にはエマを育てる能力はないってのか？
Ross: (looks down) No, that that is not what we're saying.	ロス：（下を見る）　違うよ。そういう意味じゃない。
Joey: Yeah he's lying. He looked down.	ジョーイ：あ、うそだ。下向いてる。
(Joey looks to Phoebe and she nods in agreement)	ジョーイはフィービーの方を向く。フィービーはうなずいて同意する。
Chandler: Well what is wrong with me? Am I, am I incomptent? Because I managed to survive whatever it is that killed the three of you!	チャンドラー：何か、俺だと問題あるのか？　そんなに俺は無能か？　俺は3人が死んでも生き残ってるんだぞ！
Rachel: Honey, you're taking this the wrong way. We think you're going to be a wonderful parent. It's just you're more the fun parent.	レイチェル：チャンドラー、誤解よ。私たちはあなたが素晴らしい親だっていうは分かってるわ。でも、あなたはどっちかいうと面白い親じゃん。
Ross: Yeah and we'd want to make sure Emma has someone like Monica who is more discliplinarin, someone who can be firm and strict.	ロス：そうなんだよ、僕たちとしては、モニカみたいに、しつけができて、頑固で厳しい人もいたほうがいいと思うんだよ。
Monica: Thats not how you see me, is it?	モニカ：私ってそんなふうに見られてるの？
Phoebe: (cutting a sweet potatoe in the air) No you're all about the fun. (obviously lying)	フィービー：（スイートポテトを空中で切り落としながら）　いや、あんたは楽しい人よ。　（明らかにうそをついている。）
Chandler: Look, I may not know a lot about babies, but do you really think I'm not capable?	チャンドラー：確かに俺は赤ちゃんに関する知識はあんまないかもしれないけどさ、俺ってそんなに無能か？
Ross: No, you both are equally capable. It's just you're strongest when, when you're together.	ロス：違うよ、2人は同じぐらい有能だよ。ただ2人そろうとその力が発揮されるってことさ。
Chandler: Ok. So if we both had Emma and I die (knocks on table) she'd have to give her up.	チャンドラー：そうか、じゃあもし俺たちがエマをもらって、俺が死んだら、　（テーブルを叩く）　モニカはエマを手放すんだろ？
Ross: Sure, Monica would have to give her up. (obviously lying)	ロス：そうね、モニカはエマを手放さなきゃだめだね。　（明らかにうそをついている。）
Joey: I lie better than that, right?	ジョーイ：俺の方がうそうまいだろ？
Chandler: So, let me get this straight. So my two friends die, I get Emma. Then my wife dies, then Emma the one tiny ray of hope left in my life gets taken away from me?	チャンドラー：じゃあ、確認するぞ。俺の友達が2人も死んで、エマを預かる。で、妻も死んでしまう、それなのに、俺に残された人生のたったひとつの希望が奪われるのか？
Phoebe: There's your movie! (claps)	フィービー：あなたらしい映画ね！　（拍手をする。）
[Scene: Monica opens her front door. Chandler is sitting in the hallway.]	[モニカがドアを開けると、チャンドラーは廊下に座っている。]
Monica: Hey. There you are. You disappeared after dinner.	モニカ：あ、いたいた。ディナーの後どこ行ってたのよ。
Chandler: Oh? Did somebody miss me? Is there a child to raise poorly?	チャンドラー：ふーん。誰か俺のことさびしがってるの？　子供を育てるのが下手な人？
Monica: Ross and Rachel don't know what they're talking about. I mean it's not like their so responsible. Emma is a product of a bottle of Merlot and a five year old condom.	モニカ：ロスとレイチェルはそういう意味でいったんじゃないわよ。あの2人だって、責任感があるってわけじゃないのにさ。エマはメルローと5年物のコンドームの産物なのよ。 Merlot　メルロー。辛口赤ワイン。
Chandler: Yeah but they're right. I mean, I'm not a strong father figure and I never will be.	チャンドラー：でも、あいつら正しいよ。俺は今も将来も明らかに父親向きの人間じゃないよ。
Monica: No you learn these things. You grow into it.	モニカ：そんなことないよ。あなたは物事をちゃんと学べるじゃない。

Joey: The producer from Days left a message on my machine asking why I wasn't at the parade. They said everybody's pissed off at me. (whiny voice) And they all got to meet Santa!	ジョーイ：プロデューサーが留守番電話で、"何でパレードにこなかったんだ"って言ってる。みんな俺にぶち切れたらしい。　（弱弱しい声で）　しかもみんなサンタに会ったんだって！ ※：アメリカでは他の電話からも自分の電話に来たメッセージを聞くことができます。何で日本ではそういうのないんだろ？
Phoebe: It's ok. I thought of the perfect lie for you. It's easy to remember and doesn't invite a lot of questions. You weren't at the parade because you had a family emergency.	フィービー：ねぇ、いいうそ思いついたわよ。覚えやすいし、いろいろ尋問もされずにすむ。"パレードに来れなかったのは、家族内で事件があったからだ。"

Joey: (all nervous and looking down) Oh... My sister's raccoon.	ジョーイ：（ナーバスになって、下を見ながら）　あ、俺の妹のアライグマが…。
Phoebe: No! Nothing with a raccoon.	フィービー：もう！　アライグマは止めなさいよ！
Joey: Arg... Alright, I'll take care of it.	ジョーイ：あー、わかったよ。後は俺がなんとかする。
(Monica and Chandler come through the front door, while Joey and Phoebe putting the fancy plates on the table.)	ジョーイとフィービーが高級な皿をテーブルにセットしていると、モニカとチャンドラーが部屋に入ってくる。
Monica: Oh wait... What are you doing?	モニカ：ちょ、ちょっと何してるのよ？
Joey: Setting the table.	ジョーイ：テーブルの準備してるんだけど。
Phoebe: Yeah we thought it would be nice to use the fancy china for dessert too.	フィービー：デザートも高級な皿で食べたらいいだろうなと思ってさ。
Monica: Oh how nice. Maybe later we can all go blow our noses on my wedding dress.	モニカ：あら、いいわね。あとでみんなで私のウェディングドレスで鼻かもうか。
Ross: Hey dude, you okay? Sorry about before.	ロス：チャンドラー、大丈夫か？　ごめんな。
Chandler: Oh no thats okay, you're totally right. I don't know anything about disciplining a child. But it did hurt my feelings and I want you to know that when I die, you don't get Joey.	チャンドラー：あ、大丈夫だよ。お前たちが正しいよ。俺は子供のしつけについてはぜんぜんわからん。でも俺の心が傷ついたな。俺が死んでも、ジョーイは渡さないからな。
Amy: (walks over to the couch and sits down next to Rachel) Ucch. (pauses) Uchh (louder this time) In case you hadn't noticed, I'm not talking to you.	エイミー：（ソファーのほうにやってきて、レイチェルの横に座る）　カー　（間）　カー　（よりうるさく）　気づいてないなら一応言っとくけど、あんたに話してるんじゃないからね。 ※：ここの"カー"はおやじがたんをためるときに出す音とそっくりでした。
Rachel: UCHH! (much louder and longer than Amy's)	レイチェル：カー　（エイミーよりうるさく）
Amy: You know, this, this is classic Rachel.	エイミー：ふん。昔の意地悪な姉さんのままね。
Rachel: Yeah, yeah right. Remember in high school when I died and didn't give you my baby?	レイチェル：あ、そうそう。高校時代に私が死んだのに、あんたに赤ちゃんあげなかったの覚えてる？
Amy: This might be my one chance to have a baby Rachel. I mean, you know that I have been so busy focusing on my carrer.	エイミー：姉さん、私が赤ちゃんを育てられる唯一のチャンスかもしれないのに。私が自分のキャリアのために忙しいの知ってるでしょ。
Rachel: What? What carrer?	レイチェル：は？　キャリア？
Amy: Um... I'm a decorator.	エイミー：えーとね、私はデコレーターよ。
Rachel: Ok. You decorate dad's office and so now you're a decorator. Okay! I went to the zoo yesterday and now I'm a koala bear.	レイチェル：あっそ。父さんのオフィスをデコレートしただけで、もうデコレーター？　じゃあ、私は昨日動物園に行ったから、コアラね。
Amy: Why can't you ever be supportive?	エイミー：なんでいつも私に協力してくれないの？
Rachel: Sup, you want to talk supportive? You didn't even come and visit me when I was in the hospital having the baby.	レイチェル：協力？　あんた、私が病院で赤ちゃん産んでるのに、ぜんぜん来なかったじゃん。
Amy: Oh. Yeah. Well, you didn't come see me when I was in the hospital when I was getting my lips done.	エイミー：そっちこそ、私が唇の整形したのに、ぜんぜん来てくれなかったじゃん。
Rachel: I did the first time! Oh. Oh. (gets up and walks into the kitchen) And you know what. You want to know why I'm not giving Emily to you.	レイチェル：一回目は行ったじゃない！　あ、そうそう。　（立ち上がって、キッチンの方へ歩いていく）　あとねぇ、何で私があんたにエミリーを預けないか分かってる？
Ross: Emma.	ロス：エマだよ。
Rachel: (turns to Ross) Oh whose side are you on? (back to Amy) I'm not giving you Emma because there is no way you could handle the responibility of a child.	レイチェル：（ロスの方を見て）　あんたどっちの味方なのよ！　（エイミーの方を見る）　あんたが子供を育てる責任なんか取れるわけないから、エマをあげないのよ。
Amy: How hard could it be? You do it.	エイミー：そんな難しいわけないじゃん。あんたがやってるんだから。
Joey: ooh oooh... (realizes Rachel staring at him, and looks down)	ジョーイ：ハハハハ。　（レイチェルがにらんでいるのに気づき、下を見る）
Amy: Do you want to know why you don't want me to have the baby? Because you don't want me to be happy. You, you have always been jealous of me.	エイミー：何であんたが私に赤ちゃん預けないか知ってる？　私に幸せになってほしくないからよ。あんたはいつでも私をねたんでるわ。
Rachel: Jealous of what? Of your lack of responsiblity? You, your immaturity? Your total disregard of other people's feelings?	レイチェル：ねたんでるっていったい何を？　あんたの責任感のなさ？　あんたの子供っぽさ？　あんたの他人の気持ちに対する思いやりのなさ？
Amy: Uh, to name a few. (Rachel wonder which one she should say, because there are too many examples.) You know, You've just always been like this. You just have to have everything. And I couldn't have anything. Like in junior high, when you stole Timmy from me. Rachel: Ah ha ha. ah ha ha. (evil meancing laughter) It's forty five.	レイチェル：ハハハ、　（悪魔っぽい笑い）　45%よ！
Amy: You bitch. You just think you're so perfect. With your new baby and your, your small apartment. (directs this to Ross who in turns throws the towel in his hand down on the table) Well let me tell you something. Your baby isn't even that cute.	エイミー：このクソ女。自分を完璧だと思いやがって。赤ちゃんと、ちいさーいアパートに満足しちゃって。　（ロスの方を見て言う、ロスは怒ってタオルをテーブルに投げつける）　あとね、言っちゃうけど、あんたの赤ちゃんそんなにかわいくないわね。
(everyone sucks their breath in, in shock)	みんなショックで息をのむ。
Ross: (walks over to Rachel) Too far, Amy. Too far.	ロス：（レイチェルの元へ歩いていく）　言いすぎだ。言いすぎだぞ、エイミー。
Rachel: You take that back.	レイチェル：取り消しなさい。
Amy: No.	エイミー：いやよ。
Rachel: Take it back!	レイチェル：取り消せ！
Amy: No! What are you going to do? Make me?	エイミー：いやよ！　どうするってのよ？　無理やり言わせる気？
Rachel: Heey man, I work out. (Ross nods his head and points at her, in a yes manner)	レイチェル：そうよ！　私は鍛えてんのよ！　（ロスはうなずき、レイチェルを支持するように指差す）
Amy: So do I.	エイミー：私もよ。
Rachel: I do Pilates.	レイチェル：私はピラトやってるのよ。 Pilate　ピラト。フィットネス。
Amy: I do yoga.	エイミー：私はヨガよ。
Rachel: Bring it on!	レイチェル：かかってきな！
(Amy pushes Rachel.)	エイミーはレイチェルを押す。
Monica: Put the plates in the boxes!! Put the plates in the boxes!	モニカ：お皿を箱に戻せ！！　お皿を箱に戻せ！！
Rachel: Did you just push me?	レイチェル：今、押した？
Amy: Uh, yeah I think I did.	エイミー：押したわよ。
Rachel: Alright. Thats it! (Pushes Amy back)	レイチェル：もう怒った！　（エイミーを押す）
Monica: (screaming at Ross) Forget the bubblewrap! There isn't time!	モニカ：（ロスに叫ぶ）　包装はしないで！　時間がない！
(Rachel and Amy are fighting. They're really just trying to slap each other and just keep slapping their hands)	レイチェルとエイミーはケンカをしている。2人とも顔をひっぱたこうとするつが、手を叩いてばかり。
Rachel: (starts messing up Amy's hair) Frizzy frizzy frizzy frizzy!! (Amy backs away and correct her hair.)	レイチェル：（エイミーの髪をぐちゃぐちゃにする）　グチャグチャグチャグチャ！！　（エイミーは引き下がり、髪の毛を直す。）
(They go back to fighting.)	ケンカを再びはじめる
Phoebe: Oh my god! Shouldn't we stop this?	フィービー：どうしよう！　止めるべき？
Joey: What? Are you out of your mind? Let's throw some jello on them.	ジョーイ：何言ってんの？　ゼリーでもぶっかけようぜ！
(Amy starts spitting on Rachel's hand and Rachel pushes her away)	エイミーはレイチェルの手につばを吐き出す。レイチェルはエイミーを押し出す
Rachel: Ew! Gross.	レイチェル：うわ！　汚い！
(Amy runs towards Rachel and Rachel puts her arm out, hand on Amy's head and Amy starts trying to hit her but is missing, Rachel is moving backwards towards the table when her hand swipes the one plate left on the table on to the floor)	エイミーはレイチェルに突っ込んでいく、レイチェルは押さえつけ、殴ろうとするが、空振りばかり。レイチェルは下がりながらテーブルに手をかけ、唯一テーブルに残っていた皿を落とし割ってしまう。
(Everyone is shocked and Monica faints and Ross catches her)	みんなショックを受け、モニカは気絶してしまうが、ロスが支える。
Chandler: Alright! That is it. This is our apartment and you can not behave this way. Now if you can't act your age then you shouldn't be here at all. Now those plates may not be as nice as the pretty pink ones I picked out, but they're very important to Monica. I want you to apologize to her right now.	チャンドラー：いい加減にしろ！　ここは俺らのアパートだ、ここでケンカなんかするな。大人として行動できないんなら、ここに来るんじゃない。確かにこのお皿は俺が最初に選んだピンクのやつほどいい皿じゃないが、モニカには大切なものなんだ。モニカにすぐ謝れ。
Amy: I'm sorry.	エイミー：ごめんなさい。
Rachel: Mon, I'm so sorry.	レイチェル：モニカ、ほんとにごめんね。
Chandler: Okay. That's better. Now I want you to both apologize to each other and mean it.	チャンドラー：よし。じゃあ、お互いにちゃんと謝るんだ。
Amy and Rachel: Sorry.	エイミーとレイチェル：ごめん。
Chandler: By the way, that fight was totally arousing.	チャンドラー：ところで、ほんとに刺激的なケンカだったよ。
Ross: Dude. Well done. You know what? If I die, and Rachel dies and Monica dies then you can totally take care of Emma.	ロス：チャンドラー、よく言ったじゃん。僕が死んで、レイチェルが死んで、モニカが死んでも、お前ならちゃんとエマの面倒見れるよ。
Chandler: Oh yeah? Well thanks.	チャンドラー：ほんと？　ありがと。
Ross: So, so now do I get Joey?	ロス：で、じゃあ、僕がジョーイもらっていいの？
Chandler: Okay, but you should know he eats five times a day and shoves pennies up his nose.	チャンドラー：まぁいいよ。でもあいつ一日5食食うし、一セント玉を鼻に押し込むぞ。
(Ross ponders that and walks away)	ロスはしばし考え、去っていく。
Rachel: Are you okay Mon?	レイチェル：モニカ、大丈夫？
Monica: Uh huh... I mean these things happen. It's just a plate. It's not like somebody died.	モニカ：う、うん。よくあることよ。たかがお皿じゃない。人が死んだわけでもないじゃん。
Phoebe: It's all right. You can mourn.	フィービー：いいのよ。悲しんでも。
Monica: (starts crying) Thank you. It was so beautiful. (gets up and walks towards the front door) I'm going to go to Joey's and get the pies.	モニカ：（泣き出す）　ありがとう、ほんとに綺麗だったわ！　（立ち上がって、ドアの方へと歩いていく）　ジョーイのとこ行って、いくつかパイ取ってくるわね。
Joey: Actually it's not pies, it's just pie.	ジョーイ：あ、パイいくつもないぞ、っていうか一個。
Monica: I don't care. (pauses) Oh my god. I've lost the will to scold.	モニカ：どうでもいいわ。　（間）　もういや、しかる気力さえないわ。
Rachel: Look Amy, it got a little of control...Um... and I'm sorry. You're my sister and uh... if it really means that much to you...	レイチェル：エイミー、ちょっと暴走しちゃったわね…。ごめんね。あなたは私の妹だわ、そんなにあれだったら…
Amy: So you're going to give me the baby?	エイミー：私に赤ちゃんくれるの？
Rachel: Uh. No... I was going to let you use my Ralph Lauren discount.	レイチェル：あ、いや…。ラルフローレンのディスカウント使わせてあげるって言おうと思ったの。
Amy: (starting to cry) You are not going to regret this.	エイミー：（泣き出す）　後悔はさせないわ。
(they hug and Rachel has this disgusted look on her face and then Emma starts crying)	2人はハグするが、レイチェルはあきれた顔をしている。するとエマが泣き出す。
Rachel: She needs changing.	レイチェル：あ、おしめ変えなきゃ。
Chandler: Oh no no no. I'll get her. I'm super-compentent and totally responsibile and fourth in line to raise Emma. I'll be right there Emma. Just let me get my trusty diaper bag here. (knocks over the box of china by the diper bag, and all the plates get broken in pieces) Well... what do you know? I guess, I'll be the one who dies first.	チャンドラー：あ、いいよ、いいよ。俺がやるよ。俺は超有能だ、責任感もばっちり、エマを育てる4番目の候補だ。エマ、今行くぞ。信頼のおしめを持っていくからな。　（おしめの箱でお皿の箱を倒し、すべての皿が粉々に砕け散る。）　あら…、どうやら俺が一番先に死ぬみたいだね。

Phoebe: Hey, does Monica know about her broken plates yet?	フィービー：おっす、モニカはお皿が壊れたっていうの知ってるの？
Chandler: Nope.	チャンドラー：ぜんぜん。
Phoebe: Broke them all, huh?	フィービー：全部壊れちゃったのね。
Chandler: Yep.	チャンドラー：そう。
Phoebe: You gonna tell her?	フィービー：モニカに言うの？
Chandler: Nope. (Monica walks in) Hey, so I'm gonna put the plates back. You know, I think you were right, I don't think we should use these plates again for a looong time.	チャンドラー：言わない。　（モニカが戻ってくる）　じゃあ、お皿を元に戻しとくよ。君の言うとおりだね、もう二度と使わないほうがいいと思うよ。
Monica: Like only if the queen comes?	モニカ：女王様が来たとき用？
Chandler: Maybe not even then. (Joey walks in)	チャンドラー：いや、そのときも使わないほうがいいよ。　（ジョーイが入室）
Joey: Hey! I did it. I called my producer. I told him I had a family emergency, he totally bought it. Thanks for teaching me how to lie Pheebs.	ジョーイ：おっす！　やったぜ。プロデューサーに電話して、家族の事件があったって言ったら、完全に騙された。うそのつき方教えてくれてありがとう、フィービー。
Phoebe: No problem! Next week: stealing. (Chandler walks away to store the box of broken china.)	フィービー：どういたしまして！　次週は盗み方よ。　（チャンドラーは割れたお皿の箱を戻すために歩き出す。）
Monica: Bye plates!	モニカ：バイバイ、お皿。
Joey: Oh, you told her you broke all the plates, huh? (Chandler walks back, looking angrily at Joey)	ジョーイ：お、皿全部割ったって言ったみたいだな。　（チャンドラーは後ろに下がり、ジョーイを怒りの目で見つめる）
Monica: What? Something happened with the plates?	モニカ：え？　お皿に何かあったの？
Joey: Uhm... (looks down) Yeah... this uhm... raccoon came in...	ジョーイ：あ…、　（下を見ながら）　あぁ、その、アライグマがやってきてだな…。
