Chandler : Courtside? Oh my God.	チャンドラー：コートサイド？　まじかよ。

Monica : Really? But tomorrow night is the only night I get off from the restaurant. If you go to the game, we won't have a night together for another week.	モニカ：えぇ。でも私、明日の夜以外は仕事あるのよ。バスケ見に行ったら、また1週間ご無沙汰になっちゃうじゃん。

Rachel : Oh well, well thank you. (She laughs. He stares for a moment.) Okay, stop. Stop looking at me like that. The last time that happened, (points to Ross) that happened. Mike : (Holds up a six pack of Foster's Lager) I got beer.	マイク：（6本のフォスターズラガーのボトルを持ちながら）　ビール持ってきたよ。
Ross : I got bottled breast milk.	ロス：こっちにはボトル入りのお乳があるぞ。
Mike : Eh, why don't we start with the beer?	マイク：ビールから始めるとしようか。
Ross : Okay. (They sit.) So, um, Phoebe tells me you, ah, you play piano.	ロス：OK。　（2人は座る）　フィービーが言ってたんだけどさ、ピアノ弾くんだって？
Mike : Yeah.	マイク：そうだよ。
Ross : You know, I, I used to, ah, play keyboards in college.	ロス：僕も大学時代にはキーボードやってたんだよ。
Mike : Ah? (pause) Do you have one here?	マイク：へぇ。　（間）　キーボード今ある？

Mike : Okay. (pause)	マイク：そうか。　（間）
(They clink beer bottles, and drink. Then, they stare uncomfortably at their bottles.)	ビールのボトルで乾杯する。2人は何かきまずそうにビールのボトルを見つめる。
Ross : Um . . . ah . . . you know, I'm divorced. Um, Phoebe, ah . . . Phoebe said you . . . You've been divorced?	ロス：あ…、僕は離婚者なんだ。フィービーが君も離婚したと言ってたんだけど…。
Mike : Yeah. (pause) Yeah, I'm sorry. I don't . . . I don't really like to talk about it.	マイク：そうだね。　（間）　ごめん、あまりその話したくないんだ。
Ross : (pause) That's okay. We'll talk about (pause) something else. (They pause. They drink.)	ロス：（間）　そうだね。違う話しようか　（間）　何かの話でも。　（2人は間を置き、ビールを飲む。）

(There is a loud thud at the door.)	ドアに何かがぶつかる音が。
Joey : Hey! How come the door's locked?	ジョーイ：おい！　何でカギかかってんだよ？
Monica : Just a second.	モニカ：ちょっと待って。
Chandler : (hushed) No, no, no, no, no. Joey can't know that I'm here.	チャンドラー：（小さな声で）　ダメ、ダメ、ダメ、ダメ、ダメ。あいつに俺がここにいるのばれちゃまずいよ。
Monica : Why not?	モニカ：なんでよ。
Chandler : Because I didn't know how to tell him that I couldn't go to the Knicks game. So, I just told him that I had to stay in Tulsa.	チャンドラー：ニックス戦にいけないって説明するのにいい理由が思いつかなかったから、タルサから帰れないって言っちゃたんだ。
Monica : So, you lied to him?	モニカ：じゃあ、うそついたわけ？
Chandler : Achhh. It's always better to lie than to have the complicated discussion. (pause) Except with you.	チャンドラー：そうだよ。ごちゃごちゃと説明するより、うそついたほうがいいじゃんかぁ。　（間）　君には別だけどね。
Joey : Hey! Open the door. What's going on? (He knocks.)	ジョーイ：おい！　ドアを開けてよ。どうしたんだよ？　（ノックする）
(Monica goes to the door. Chandler slides behind it as she opens it slightly.)	モニカはドアの方へ行く。チャンドラーはドアの後ろに隠れ、モニカはちょっとだけドアを開ける。
Joey : What are you . .. (He sees her in her negligee.) Why are you dressed like that?	ジョーイ：どうした…、　（モニカがネグリジェ着ているのに気づく）　何でそんな格好してるの？
Monica : Oh, because, um . . . well, Chandler's going to be home in a couple of days. So, I thought I would, you know, practice the art of seduction.	モニカ：あ、それはねぇ…、チャンドラーがあと2日で戻ってくるから、誘惑の技術を練習してたのよ。
Joey : Oh, I thought I heard a man's voice before.	ジョーイ：でも、男の声が聞こえたんだが。

Monica : You might want to keep practicing.	モニカ：もっと練習してね。

Chandler : It's Joey. (He answers it, holding it out so that Monica can hear too.) Hey Joe.	チャンドラー：ジョーイだ。　（応答する。モニカにも聞こえるように携帯を持つ）　おっす、ジョーイ。
Joey : Dude, come home!	ジョーイ：おい、今すぐ帰って来い！

Joey : I don't know how to tell you this but, uh . . . I think Monica's cheatin' on ya. I told you shouldn't have married someone so much hotter than you.	ジョーイ：なんて言ったらいいのかよくわからないんだけどさ…、モニカが浮気してるぞ！　だから自分よりホットなやつと結婚するなって言ったんだよ！

Joey : I heard him again!	ジョーイ：また聞こえたぞ！
Chandler : (writhes as if in agony) All right, look. Just stay there. I'm coming home.	チャンドラー：（"あーもう"というポーズ）　わかったよ。そこにいろ、俺が今から行く。
Joey : Okay. Great. I'll see you when you get here. I'm gonna wait out in the hall in case the dude comes out.	ジョーイ：よっし。また後でな。男が出てこないか廊下で見張ってるぜ。
Chandler : Is that really necessary?	チャンドラー：そこまでする必要あるのか？

Chandler : All right. I've got a plan. I'll go down the fire escape.	チャンドラー：わかった。いいアイデアがある。俺が非常口から脱出する。 fire escape　ベランダにあるハシゴ上の非常口。前にジョーイとロスが使ったアレです。
Monica : Yes, because all good plans start with, "I'll go down the fire escape."	モニカ：そうね。いいアイデアって、"俺が非常口から脱出する"で始まるもんよね。
Chandler : Hear me out woman. I'll go down the fire escape. Then, I'll wait for a while. Then, when I come up the stairs, it'll be just like I just got back from Tulsa. [Scene: Ross and Rachel's apartment. The pizza is almost done. Mike is making hollow popping noises with his mouth. He begins to speak, but stops and pops his lips a few more times and takes a drink. Bill : Okay. (They start to walk away.)	ビル：わかった。　（2人は去ろうとする。）
Rachel : Oh sure. (She pulls a business card from her purse and writes on it.)	レイチェル：もちろんよ。　（名刺をかばんから出しその上に番号を書く。）
Phoebe : (Reading the card.) Oh my God, you're giving your real number.	フィービー：（カードを見ながら）　うわぁ、あんたほんとの番号教えんの？
Bill : Okay, thanks. I'll give you a call later tonight.	ビル：ありがとう。今夜電話するよ。
Rachel : Great.	レイチェル：うん。
Bill : Bye	ビル：じゃあね。
Phoebe : Bye. (The guys leave.) Wow. So, that's great. You, Bill, Ross, and Emma are going to be so happy together. What were you thinking?	フィービー：じゃあね。　（2人は去る）　うわぁ、よかったわねぇ。あなた、ビル、ロス、エマは4人そろって幸せね。何考えてんのよ。

Rachel : (as Ross) "Yeah. That works for me." (Clears throat twice more.)	レイチェル：（ロスの真似）　"あぁ。僕はかまわないよ。"　（咳払い二回）
Phoebe : Yeah, I see what you mean. By the way, nice Ross imitation.	フィービー：うん、いいたいことはわかるわ。そう言えば、ロスの真似うまいわねぇ。
Rachel : Oh, thanks.	レイチェル：あら、ありがと。
Phoebe : But, your Rachel wasn't whiny enough.	フィービー：でも、本物のレイチェルはもっと弱弱しいのよ。
Rachel : (whining) Wha. . . hey!	レイチェル：（弱弱しく）　う…、何言ってるのよ！
Phoebe : Better!	フィービー：似てきた！
Rachel : Well, the point is, maybe I should just stop waiting around for moments with Ross, you know? I should just move on with my life.	レイチェル：だからさぁ、私が言いたいのはロスと関係が進展するの待つのはもう止めた方がいいと思うのよ。もう自分の人生を楽しんだ方がいいのかなって。

Phoebe : Well, you kind of just did. That guy is going to call you tonight. Ross is going to pick up the phone and that's a pretty clear message.	フィービー：もう決めちゃった感じだけど。あの人今夜あなたに電話するのよ。ロスが電話に出たら、そりゃ強烈なメッセージよ。
Rachel : Oh God, Ross. Ross is going to pick up the phone. Oh, I have to get my number back. (She turns to find Bill, but they have gone.) Oh my God. He's gone.	レイチェル：あ！　ロス。ロスが電話取るんだ。電話番号返してもらわなきゃ。　（後ろを向くが、2人はもういない）　あ、もういない。
Phoebe : (imitating Rachel) "Oh, I have to get my number back. Oh my God. He's gone." (smiles) Dead on.	フィービー：（レイチェルの真似）　"電話番号返してもらわなきゃ。あ、もういない。"　（にっこり）　こうよ！
[Scene: Ross and Rachel's apartment. Ross and Mike are sitting on the couch. They seem really bored.]	[ロスとレイチェルのアパート。ロスとマイクがソファーの上に座っている。2人はほんとに退屈そう。]
Mike : Ya know, I'm going to take off.	マイク：もう帰るよ。
Ross : So soon?	ロス：もう？

(Mike leaves. Ross closes the door behind him.)	マイクは去る。ロスはドアを閉める。
Mike : (In the hall, relieved) Oh.	マイク：（廊下で、開放され）　うぉーー。
(Ross, inside the door, releases a sign of relief. Back in the hall, Mike's cell rings.)	ロスは部屋の中で安心のため息をつく。廊下ではマイクの携帯が鳴る。
Mike : Hello?	マイク：もしもし？
Phoebe : (calling from the bar on her cell.) Hey, Mike, it's me. Listen, is um, is Ross near you?	フィービー：（バーから携帯で）　もしもし、マイク？　私。まだロスのとこ？
Mike : Uh, no. I just left.	マイク：いや、今出たとこ。
Phoebe : Well, you have to go back in.	フィービー：そう。じゃあ戻って。
Mike : Wha . . .? Go back? To the "land where time stands still"?	マイク：え…？　戻る？　あの"時が止まった大陸"へ？
Phoebe : I'm so sorry honey, but, okay, Rachel gave this guy her number and, um, she doesn't want Ross to answer the phone. So, you have to intercept all his calls.	フィービー：ごめんね。でもレイチェルが男に電話番号教えちゃって、ロスに電話に出てほしくないのよ。だから電話は全部カットして。
Mike : I can't do that!	マイク：そんなのできないよ！
Phoebe : (to Rachel) He says he can't do that.	フィービー：（レイチェルに）　できないって。
Rachel : Oh give me. (Phoebe gives Rachel the phone.) Hi, Mike? Hi. Listen. I know this is a lot to ask, but you know what? If you do this I . . . Phoebe will do anything you want. Seriously, I'm talking dirty stuff.	レイチェル：貸して。　（フィービーはレイチェルに携帯を渡す。）　もしもしマイク？　大変だとは思うんだけどさ、でもね、やってくれたら、私…。フィービーが何でもするわよ。マジで、ダーティーなもんでもOKよ。
Phoebe : All right. (She takes the phone from Rachel.) Hello? Hi. I'm sorry about her, but she wasn't wrong about the dirty stuff.	フィービー：もう返して。　（電話を取り返す）　もしもし？　ごめんね。でもダーティーなもんってのは間違いじゃないわよ。
Mike : All right. I'll do it. (Phoebe gives the thumbs-up sign to Rachel.) But really, how much dirtier can it get?	マイク：わかったよ。やってみる。　（フィービーは親指を立ててグットマークをレイチェルにする）　あ、でも、どんだけダーティーなものまでいいの？
Phoebe : (knowingly chuckles) Oh, Mike. Bye.	フィービー：（くすくすと笑う）　あら、マイクったら。バイバイ。
(Mike knocks on Ross's door. Ross opens it.)	マイクはロスのアパートのドアをノックする。ロスが開ける。
Mike : Hey buddy.	マイク：よぉ、親友。
Ross : Uh, hi.	ロス：あ、どうも。
Mike : Um, can I come back in?	マイク：あ、また入っていい？
Ross : (putting his arm up with his hand on the door frame.) Why? (He starts to lower his arm.)	ロス：（手をドアのフレームにかけブロック）　何で？　（手を下げ始める）
Mike : (Entering the apartment) I, I was just thinking about how much more we have to talk about.	マイク：（入室しながら）　そりゃ、もういろいろとまだ話題があるじゃないか。
Ross : (whining) But you left.	ロス：（弱弱しく）　せっかく帰ったと思ったのに…。
[Scene: The hallway and stairs outside Chandler and Monica's apartment. Chandler enters from the stairs. Joey is sitting with a baseball bat.]	[ジョーイたちのアパートの廊下。チャンドラーが階段を上がってくる。ジョーイはバットを持って座っている。]
Joey : Wow! That didn't take long. I thought you said Tulsa was, like a three hour flight.	ジョーイ：おぉ！　はええな。タルサからは飛行機で3時間って言ってなかったっけ？
Chandler : (pause) Well, you're forgetting about the time difference.	チャンドラー：（間）　時差を忘れてないかい？ ※：当然ですが、時差があっても飛行機が速くなるわけじゃありません（笑）。
(Joey thinks a moment. Then, he nods. Joey follows Chandler into the apartment.)	ジョーイはしばらく考えると、ジョーイは納得する。ジョーイはチャンドラーに続きアパートに入室。
Monica : Chandler! You're home!	モニカ：チャンドラー！　早いわね！
Chandler : That's right. You're husband's home. So, now the sex can stop.	チャンドラー：そうだ！　夫が帰ったぞ！　セックスは中止だ！
(Joey gives him and odd look. Monica gives a similar look.)	ジョーイは変な顔をする。モニカはにっこりとする。
Monica : What are you saying?	モニカ：何言ってるの？
Chandler : Joey said that you're in here with another man.	チャンドラー：お前がここで男と浮気しているとジョーイが言ってたぞ。
Monica : There's no man in here. How dare you accuse me of that. (She slaps Chandler. Chandler gets shocked.)	モニカ：男なんかいないわよ。私を疑うなんて何考えてんの？　（チャンドラーをひっぱたく。チャンドラーはショックを受ける。）
Joey : All right. All right. Then, maybe you won't mind if me and my friend take a look around, huh? (He checks the bathroom shaking the bat. Then he proceeds to their bedroom.) Bwa-ah-ah!	ジョーイ：おーし、じゃあ、俺とチャンドラーで捜索するぞ。　（バットを振りながらトイレをチェック。その後寝室へ。）　バハハハ！
(Thudding sounds can be heard from the bedroom.)	寝室で何かを叩く音が。
Chandler : (To Monica) What is he doing?	チャンドラー：（モニカに）　あいつ何してんだ？
Monica : (smiling) I arranged some pillows on the bed to look like a guy.	モニカ：（にっこり）　男が隠れてるみたいに枕をセットしといたの。
Joey : (emerging) Bedroom is clear, although you might need some new pillows.	ジョーイ：（寝室から出てくる）　寝室にはいない。あ、でも新しい枕が必要かも。
Chandler : All right. Well, I'll check the guest room.	チャンドラー：よし、じゃあ俺は客室をチェックするぞ。
Joey : (sniffing the air and then Monica.) Why do I smell men's cologne?	ジョーイ：（モニカのにおいをかぐ）　何で男のコロンの匂いがするんだ？
Monica : (sniffing Joey) I think that's you.	モニカ：（ジョーイのにおいをかぐ）　これはあんたのよ。
Joey : (sniffs his shirt.) Oh yeah. I rubbed a magazine on myself earlier.	ジョーイ：（自分のシャツのにおいをかぐ）　そうだな。さっき雑誌をなすりつけたからな。
Chandler : There's nobody here Joe.	チャンドラー：誰もいないよ、ジョーイ。
Joey : I guess not.	ジョーイ：そんなはずは…。
Monica : I can't believe you thought I was cheating. (pointing at Joey) You own me an apology.	モニカ：私が浮気してると疑うなんて信じられない。　（ジョーイを指差して）　謝ってよ。
Joey : Yeah, right Monica. I'm so sorry.	ジョーイ：あぁ、そうだなモニカ。ほんとにゴメンよ。
Monica : (suddenly starts issuing him out) Ah, it's an honest mistake. It could happen to anyone. All right, see ya.	モニカ：（突然、ジョーイを追い出そうとする）　そうね、故意じゃないししょうがないわね。誰でもやることよ。ん、じゃあね。
Joey : (spots the suitcase just inside the door where Chandler left it) Whoa, whoa. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. If you just got back from Tulsa, how did your suitcase beat you here?	ジョーイ：（ドアの横にあるスーツケースを指差して）　おい、おい？　ちょっと待てよ。今タルサから戻ったばかりなのに、何でスーツケースの方が先に来てるんだよ。
Chandler : (thinks, then turns to Monica) I climb down the fire escape and you can't put that in the closet?	チャンドラー：（考えて、モニカの方を見る）　俺が非常口を降りたってのに、お前はこいつをクローゼットに隠すこともできないのか？
[Scene: Ross and Rachel's apartment. Mike is reading from a book.]	[ロスとレイチェルのアパート。マイクは本を読んでいる。]
Mike : So, except for the fermentation process, beer and ale are basically the same thing. Fascinating isn't it.	マイク：じゃあ、発行の過程を除いては、ビールとアルは基本的には同じ物なんだ。興味深いよな。 ale　ホップを効かしたビール。

(Phone rings.)	電話が鳴る。
Mike : I'll get it. (He lunges across Ross's lap on the couch to reach the phone. Ross stares at him with wide eyes.) Hello? Ross's place. Mike speaking. (pause. Hands phone to Ross) It's for you.	マイク：僕が出るよ。　（ロスを飛び越えて、電話を取る。ロスはマイクを睨む。）　もしもし？　ロスの家です。私はマイクです。　（間）　（ロスに電話を渡す）　あなたにです。
Ross : (takes the phone, but speaks to Mike) I don't understand what just happened here.	ロス：（電話を取るが、マイクに話す）　何が起こったかよく理解できないのだが。
[Scene: Monica and Chandler's apartment. Joey, Monica, and Chandler are still there.]	[モニカとチャンドラーのアパート。ジョーイ、モニカ、チャンドラーがまだいる。]
Joey : What's going on?	ジョーイ：どうしたんだよ？
Chandler : I'm sorry. I, I told you I was in Tulsa because I wanted to spend the night with Monica and I, I didn't know . . . I didn't think you'd understand.	チャンドラー：ごめん。俺がタルサから帰れないって言ったのは、モニカと夜を過ごしたかったからなんだ…。お前が理解してくれると思わなかったから…。
Joey : What? You think I'm too dumb to understand that a husband needs to be with his wife? Huh? Do you think I'm like, "Duh." (He strikes himself in the head with the bat. He stands dazed for a moment.)	ジョーイ：は？　俺が夫が妻と一緒にいたい気持ちを理解できないほどアホだと思うか？　俺がこんなこと言うと思うか？　"はぁ？"　（バットで頭を叩く。しばらくボーっとしてる。）
Monica : Joey?	モニカ：ジョーイ？
Joey : Yeah? (His eyes bug out.)	ジョーイ：あぁ。　（目をぱっと見開く）
Monica : I don't know what to say. We shouldn't have lied to you.	モニカ：なんて言ったらいいかわからないわ、でもウソつくべきじゃなかったわ。
Chandler : Yeah. I feel so bad. Is there anything I can do to make it up to you?	チャンドラー：あぁ、ほんとに悪いと思ってる。何か埋め合わせはできないか？
Joey : (pause) Yeah, you could go to the game with me, ah, even though I know you said you couldn't. But then you lied to me and tricked me and gave me a bump on the head.	ジョーイ：（間）　あぁ、じゃあ一緒にバスケ見に行こう。行けないって言ったけどな。でも俺にうそついてはめたし、俺の頭にこぶ作ったし。
Chandler : I'm sorry. That's the one thing I can't do. I promised I'd be with Monica.	チャンドラー：ごめんよ。それだけはできないんだ。モニカと一緒にいるって約束しちゃったから。
Joey : All right.	ジョーイ：わかった。
Monica : (taps chandler on the arm) You can go.	モニカ：（チャンドラーの腕を捕まえて）　行っていいわよ。
Chandler : What?	チャンドラー：え？
Monica : You should go to the game. It's okay. I want you to.	モニカ：バスケ見に行ってきなよ。大丈夫、私も見に行ってほしいと思ってる。
Chandler : Really? You're gonna be okay?	チャンドラー：ほんとに？　いいの？
Monica : Yeah, I'll be fine. You know, maybe I'll stay here and practice the art of seduction.	モニカ：うん。大丈夫。家で誘惑の技術の練習でもしてるわ。
Chandler : You're gonna put on sweats and clean, aren't you?	チャンドラー：スウェットを着て、洗う気だね？
Monica : It's gonna be so hot! (She kisses him.)	モニカ：ホットな夜になるわ！　（チャンドラーにキス）

Chandler : Hey, listen. I'm never going to lie to you again, okay? And I want you to know that nobody thinks you're stupid.	チャンドラー：ジョーイ、もう2度とお前にウソをつかないよ。それに誰もお前をアホだとは思ってないさ。
Joey : Thanks man.	ジョーイ：ありがと。
(Chandler heads toward the stairs, but makes a turn back to his apartment while looking at the ticket.)	チャンドラーは階段へ向かうが、チケットを見ながらアパートへと戻る。
Joey : Where are you going?	ジョーイ：どこ行くんだよ。
Chandler : Game's tomorrow night Joe.	チャンドラー：ゲームは明日の夜だぞ、ジョーイ。
(Chandler goes into the apartment, while Joey checks his ticket and is embarrassed by his stupid mistake.)	チャンドラーはアパートへ入る。ジョーイはチケットをチェックし恥ずかしくなる。
[Scene: Ross and Rachel's apartment. Rachel and Phoebe enter.]	[ロスとレイチェルのアパート。レイチェルとフィービーが入室。]
Rachel : Hi.	レイチェル：ただいまぁ。
(Everyone exchanges greetings.)	みんなあいさつする。
Ross : Oh God. (He hugs Rachel)	ロス：よかった。　（レイチェルをハグする。）
Rachel : Oh . . .	レイチェル：あら。
Mike : I'm so glad you're back. (He hugs Phoebe.)	マイク：戻ってきてくれてよかった。　（フィービーをハグする。）
Phoebe : Oh.	フィービー：あら。
Rachel : Wow. So, what did you guys do?	レイチェル：何をしてたの？
Ross : Oh, you know . . . we just drank some beer and Mike played with the boundaries of normal social conduct.	ロス：そうね…、ビールを飲んで、社会的なお話でもしたかな。
Mike : It's true. I did.	マイク：そうね。したね。
Phoebe : (pause) Well, good bye.	フィービー：（間）　うん、じゃあね。
Rachel : That was fun Pheebs.	レイチェル：楽しかったわ、フィービー。
Phoebe : I know. That was fun. (She and Mike exit.)	フィービー：うん。私も楽しかったわ。　（マイクと一緒に出る。）
Rachel : See you guys. (She closes the door.)	レイチェル：じゃあねぇ。　（ドアを閉める）
Ross : Rachel, lock the door. Lock the door, seriously.	ロス：レイチェル、カギをかけろ、まじでカギかけろ。
Rachel : Oh shoot. I forgot to pay Phoebe for the drinks. (She exits to the hallway and closes the door behind her.) Wait, wait. Sorry. Did he call? Did that guy call?	レイチェル：あ、しまった。フィービーに飲み物代払うの忘れてた。　（廊下へ出て行き、ドアを閉める）　待って、待って、ごめんね。電話来た？　男から電話来た？
Mike : No. Just his mom.	マイク：いや、ロスの母親だけ。
Rachel : Oh, around 8:30?	レイチェル：8時半ごろ？
Mike : Yeah.	マイク：うん。
Rachel : Then, again at 9:00?	レイチェル：その後、9時に？
Mike : (nods) uh-huh.	マイク：（うなずく）　あぁ。
Rachel : Yeah.	レイチェル：やっぱね。
(Inside the apartment the phone rings. Ross answers it.)	アパートの中。電話が鳴り、ロスが応答する。
Ross : Hello. (listens) Ah, no, she's not here right now. Can I take a message? (grabs a pad and pen) Bill from the bar? (writes) Okay, "Bill from the bar." I'll make sure she gets your number.	ロス：もしもし。　（聞く）　いや、彼女は不在です。伝言承りましょうか？　（メモとペンを取る）　バーで会ったビル？　（書く）　了解、"バーで会ったビル"　電話番号伝えときます。
(He hangs up the phone and tears the note off the pad. Then, he stops and re-reads it. Rachel enters.)	ロスは電話を切り、メモパッドから一枚はがす。ちょっと立ち止まり読み返す。レイチェルが入室。
Rachel : Aaah. (She goes to tend Emma.)	レイチェル：ふー。　（エマの面倒を見に行く）
Ross : So, ah . . . So, how was it? Uh, did you guys. . . Did you guys have a good time?	ロス：で…、どうだった？　2人とも…、2人とも楽しめた？
Rachel : Oh, it was so much fun. It felt so good to be out.	レイチェル：うん。ほんとに楽しかったわ。外に出るってのはほんとに気持ちいいものだわ。

Ross : Hey you guys. (He sits.)	ロス：おっす。　（座る。）
Mike : Hey.	マイク：おっす。
Phoebe : Hey. I'll be right back. I've got to go to the bathroom. (She rises and exits.)	フィービー：おっす。すぐ戻るわね、トイレ行かなきゃ。　（立ち上がり、出て行く）
(Ross and Mike glance at each other then both suddenly turn to Phoebe who is gone. They sheepishly exchange glances.)	ロスとマイクはお互いを見合い、フィービーがいないことに気づく。2人とも気まずそうに目を合わせる。
Mike : (finally) Stout. That's a kind of beer.	マイク：（やっと話す）　スタウト。これもビールの一種だよね。
(Ross smiles slightly. Then he gives a single nod that lifts him to his feet. He exits the coffee shop.	ロスはちょっとにっこりする。ちょっとうなずいて、立ち上がり、喫茶店を出る。
